This is a wonderful place to stay, and perfect if you are walking the camino! It's really central, The rooms are beautiful and there is a lovely rooftop terrace to have breakfast on. Would highly recommend.

We had no booking and just turned up hoping for a room. Owner John was very helpful and showed us to a beautiful room. The house is very traditional and has a great story behind it. Very central and close to shops, restaurants, park, and station. Great rooftop terrace where we had breakfast in the sun.

Clean room in a charming old house. The owner João is very helpful and makes sure we are enjoying our stay. Very convenient location at a 3 min walking distance from the town train station.

Meine Freundin und ich haben in der letzten Woche auf unserem Pilgerweg nach Fatima in dem Hostel übernachtet. Der Vermieter war supernett und hat uns am nächsten Tag unser Gepäck in unsere nächste Unterkunft nach Santarem gefahren. Ganz lieben Dank!!!!!!

I am walking the Camino Portuguese and it has been super hard to just show up in a town and find accommodation since most things are sold out. I called the listed phone number and the owner picked up and was able to get me inside to my room within 5 minutes. It’s best to book a room in advance though since you need a code to get in. It’s a very lovely stay and I have 0 complaints. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate me and were very welcoming.
