This is the perfect place for your solo, friends, family or couple surf trip stay to Peniche!! The atmsophere is familiar, everybody is layed back. It is a bit like a spanish hostel for surfers. Claire & Duncan really make sure you'll feel right at home. Most importantly, they will make you get to the best beach of the day every day (no obligations) and you can camp with all the other people in the house, get a board and ride the most awesome spots the area has to offer. Duncan and his son will help you improve your surf and find the best growth paths! Evenings can be chill on the couch watching flixs or hanging in the terasse after a delicious bbq. Note that they have a second house that is more set back, so you'll have the choice between privacy and community :)

We got a separate room for three people (we traveled together) in this lodge this time. It was very clean and comfy! I stayed at Lodge 1 last year, which was also great. Just like I wrote in the review for Lodge 1, it's just a great surfing experience together with Claire, Duncan and Dane!

It was my first surf vacation and I can say it was a blast! The accommodation was clean and has everything what you need! You will feel here like at home and part of a big surfing family. Big thanks to Claire and Duncan for being caring, friendly and awesome hosts. They will take you out each day to the best surfing spot and set the camp so you can surf & chill. You can also lend surfing equipment from them and get amazing surfing lessons from Duncan or their son Dane (aka surfing legend ;) ). Totally recommend going here instead of other surf camps! I was able to stand on board from the first day and progressed pretty fast with the help of their lessons.
