Ben hier nu enkele dagen. Wat een geweldig mooi onderkomen ! De mensen zijn uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze doen er alles aan om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het appartement is zeer ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het ligt niet in het meest toeristische deel van Portugal maar dat maakt het juist zo bijzonder. Ook de omgeving is ontzettend mooi en de moeite waard om te ontdekken. Vraag het de mensen hier en zij wijzen je de weg naar uitzonderlijk mooie plekken in deze omgeving. Alles is te omschrijven in één woord ... Briljant

We were pleasantly impressed with the professionalism seen in every detail, from the printed tags identifying every kind of jam on the buffet breakfast counter to the overall cleanliness of the rooms and premises, including the outside areas. On our next trip to the area, as we are likely to come and visit family there, this will definitely be the place where we will stay.

This is rather an out of the way place that we chose as being fairly close to Lisbon for our flight home, so cant comment on what there is to see locally. Its in a small village and the nearest restaurants are a short drive away. From our experience of one meal, the cuisine is best described as robust rather than refined! The place itself is very nicely appointed. The room is large with quality furnishings and an outside door gives easy access for luggage. The owner speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable and keen to chat. Although we were the only guests on the night we stayed, the breakfast spread was vast and the home made jams extremely tasty.

This place was so perfect, we booked a second night and used the hotel as our base for exploring the area. The staff was incredibly helpful with suggestions - especially local restaurants. They make you feel at home oh - and the breakfast is great!

We got to the hotel at 9 PM Nobody was there. With some luck the front (locked usually) door was open so we were able to get in the reception.lights were closed and not a sole to be found. We called the number left for emergencies and guests who arrive late and nobody answered it. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE... as in NO SERVICE at all.

A rural hotel managed by 3 women members of the family, very pleasant and happy to help out with information about sites in the area. Nice breakfast buffet.

Una semana de estancia, desde el 28/12 al 3/01, (pareja + yorkshire) en este hotelito tan acogedor. El personal muy amable y atento. Nos alojamos en el apartamento Moinho, un loft de dos plantas muy espacioso y completamente equipado. Todo super limpio.Nos movimos en coche tanto hacia el norte como hacia el sur, con buenas carreteras, bien comunicado.Algo importante, cerca del hotel hay un pequeño supermercado para comprar suministros para las cenas.

Wonderful country hotel and apartments. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!
