Great food, prepared by a chef who obviously loves his job. Service was more than amazing, like someone you have known for quite a while, yet never obtrusive. The restaurant itself is very charming and contemporary. This place should be in every tourist guide and locals' guide as well.

We went to have dinner twice and both nights were fantastic. The first evening we tried the tapas. The menu's range is broad with tapas for those that like fish, meat and/or vegetarian dishes. The quality of the food was high, the staff did a great job waiting on our table and trying to make us feel comfortable.
The second evening we tried the a la carte (chicken in parma ham and the grilled octopus) and again we had a great meal.
Now, prices might be a little higher than at other restaurants in the Alcobaça area but we feel that the experience (quality of both the food and the staff) easily makes up for it.
All in all a great place to go for some great food and a great evening.

Restaurante bastante acolhedor e com comida deliciosa, com o extra de ter uma vista esplêndida para o Mosteiro de Alcobaça. O staff é extramente simpático, especialmente o rapaz mais novo.
Recomendo o costelão acompanhado pelo excelente tinto Rocim.

Una excelente comida, un trato maravilloso a un precio correcto. Tanto las tapas como los platos estaban muy ricos. La verdad es que nos ha gustado mucho todo lo que hemos probado (lulas, frango, choriço, barriga do porco, salmón y bacalao) Cuando vuelva a Alcoçaba ire de nuevo seguro.

O serviço está impecável. Pessoal simpático. É pena é que sobre 4 sobremesas havia só 2, e era dia de semana e não tinha substituição.... A carne "madura" não era madura. O resto dos pratos estava bom !

Went to Pratu's on Valentine's evening, what an excellent night we had.
The Food was really lovely and the service was perfect.
They really put a lot of effort into making this evening very Special, rose petals on the table, red Candles and attention to detail with the food and drink, so very nice, they really deserve the success.

Gostei muito do atendimento. Os preços são bastante acessíveis. Rondam os 12€. Têm pratos vegetarianos, o que é otimo! Não tem muita variedade de pratos! Em relação a peixe, têm apenas entre bacalhau e polvo. É um restaurante pequeno, junto ao mosteiro, numa rua paralela em frente ao mosteiro de Alcobaça.

Simplesmente um dos melhores restaurantes a que já fomos! Da comida ao atendimento cuidado tudo excepcional! Pratos vegetarianos ótimos, salada leve e lasanha de legumes, os dois excelentes! Preço super justo, dois pratos, vinho e sobremesa por 24€!

Espaço muito bonito com uma decoração muito bem conseguida criando um ambiente muito acolhedor. Boas entradas e toda a comida para além de extraordinariamente bem apresentada também muito bem confecionada. Para a cereja no topo do bolo o atendimento super simpático de todos os colaboradores. Recomendo.

We loved Pratu's so much that we came back a second night! The service is great, food is amazing, prices are reasonable and atmosphere is just perfect. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We're on a long honeymoon and I just wish there were restaurants as good as this in every town that we've stayed in.
