Decent hotel clean ,plenty of sunbeds at pool ,great location 15 min stroll from Beach right in between Old and New towns 15 mins in any direction. We were Self Catering but went to breakfast a couple of times and evening meal once. Breakfast was fine Evening buffet not so good I wouldn't recommend half board.

This is the most beautiful relaxing hotel I've been to in a long time,the staff are wonderful, so helpful and polite,the rooms are beautiful, so modern and comfortable, cleaned daily,and everything you need,beautiful bathrooms,flat screen tv,fluffy pillows,duvets,crisp sheets,rugs on the floor,all mod con kitchens,pay for pool views,it's so worth it,the pool is amazing but even better is the indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi down stairs, then take a massage, €39 for an hour,you couldn't stay at a more excellent hotel,they made are stay absolutely wonderful, will definitely be back for another stay,thank you so much Luna solaqua,it was a pleasure staying with you

Many thanks to Ana and the entire staff at Luna Solaqua for making our stay so pleasant. The rooms were great, the beds very comfortable and the location perfect,, close to many restaurants, and only a 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Next year, we'll look at staying for an entire month . We're over the moon for Luna Solaqua!

Excellent hotel, very clean and large rooms. Everything you need for self-catering. Big comfy bed. Staff very helpful and polite.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Close to all amenities yet set in a quiet road. Shopping center is a couple of minutes walk and 15 minutes stroll to the Old Town and beautiful beach. Aldi and Lidl are 15 walk away.
There is a Gypsy market every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month near the bus station where you can find lots of bargains and souvenirs to take home.
We will definitely be returning as we loved our 2 week stay and felt completely at home here.

Lovely place, the beds are so comfortable! The decoration is unique in a positive way. Staff very helpful and friendly, they have underground car park which is very safe. In general was a wonderful experience.

Nos ayudaron muchísimo, llegamos en plena noche porque el hotel Alfamar nos había engañado con la reserva (al darnos una habitación horrible), al llegar al hotel luna vimos el paraíso, todo limpio y nuevo, fueron muy amables y serviciales. Totalmente recomendable. Fue nuestra salvación del fin de semana.

Great price, clean, modern room with big telly, wee kitchenette and good bathroom. Beds are comfortable (unlike many budget accommodations). Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is well worth having as all in. Facilities are good with a free indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Great for early season. Oddly though, they insist on the use of swimming caps! And indoor shoes/flip-flops. (Get from sports shop in v local shopping centre) Towels are provided at the poolside. We were on the north facing/main entrance side of the building so no sun on the balcony and noisy bar opposite. I'll be booking the poolside view, south facing room next time.

Ein hervorragendes Hotel im Herzen von Albufeira. Modern eingerichtet mit sehr schoenen geraeumigen Zimmern. Konfortables Bett, solide Einrichtung kleine Kuechenzeile an der Gerichte zubereitet werden koennen. Leider fehlt es hier ein wenig an Ausstatttung, nur wenige Teller, Glaeser und Tassen in unterschiedlichen Groessen, deshalb mussten wir etwas in der Benotung abziehen.
Der kleinne Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool hat viele Sonnenstunden. Die Klimaanlage bewaeltigt die Einhalyung der Temperaturen im Sommer und im Winter.
Hervorragendes Bad mit allem was benoetigt wird. Auch im Winter gutes heisses Wasser. Ebenfalls Bidet und moderne saubere Einrichtung
Ein schoener Spa Bereich mit Innenpool und Jacuzzibad sowie der grosse sehr saubere Aussenpool runden das Programm ab.
Ein Hotel in dem man sich sehr wohl fuelht, Fuer uns ein Topseller in Albufeira.
Die Lage ist hervorragend. Albufeira Shopping nur 300m entfernt. Die Straende sind in reichweite. Fuer viele Dinge bietet das Hotel einen hauseigenen Shuttleservice an. Alle wichtigen Orte die besichtigt werden sollten sind in unmittelbarer Reichweite und koennen zu Fuss erreicht werden. Parkplaetze stehen vor der Tuere Gratis zur Verfuegung.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Essen in Ordnung. Es gibt frische Salate und frisches Obst.leider hatte der innenpool überraschend geschlossen. Das war leider auch auf der Webseite beim Buchen des Hotels nicht angekündigt. Und wir hatten das Hotel extra wegen des innenpools gewählt. Wir haben aber ein Zimmer Upgrade bekommen und ein sehr großes schönes gepflegtes Zimmer mit Garten und meerblick erhalten.eine kinderanimation gab es dann im Dezember nicht, aber damit hatten wir auch nicht zwingend gerechnet. Eigentlich hätten wir 4,5 Sterne vergeben, aber der geschlossene Pool bringt einen Stern Abzug da sich unsere 5jährige Tochter eigentlich sehr aufs Schwimmen gefreut hat.

Top; prima hotel, ruime kamers met heel fijne bedden. Locatie is op loopafstand van het centrum, de strip en het strand. In nabijheid zijn veel winkeltjes, eetgelegenheden en 2 supers! Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, kamermeisje is zelfs nog achter een afwasteiltje gegaan waar ik om gevraagd had!
Minder; Zowel woonkamer als slaapkamer hebben elk een vrij krappe balkon (zwembad/zeezichtkant) met helaas een muur ertussen, erg jammer. Douchen in het bad is minpunt en ook de keukeninventaris is wel heel erg minimaal. En oja, te weinig verlichting als je op de bank wilt lezen.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Rooms spotless and well equipped. My only gripe...we went half board...but because of lack of clients...we ate in the bar. Had a set menu to choose from...the food was lovely but it was still disappointing

Abendbuffed ist das Geld wirklich wert ganz zu schweigen von denn Kellnerin und Kellnern die sind echt 1a gewesen. Das vermisse ich.Die Ausstattung war bei uns Top außerdem sehr gepflegt.Also um es deutlich auszudrücken da kann glaube ich ein deutsches 4 Sterne Hotel nicht mithalten und die sind sich ja schon sehr bemüht.Auch ist es sehr modern und nicht alt dieses Hotel.Diese Gegend ist sehr lebenswert und unglaublich schön.Es
gab allerdings auch ein aber.Der Empfang war ziemlich unfreundlich was mich echt geärgert hat Check in war erst um 15.00 Uhr Okay kann man sagen aber dann bitte freundlich diese Dame war im Nachhinein freundlich der erste Eindruck muss aber stimmen und der war nicht gut.Ansonsten aufjedenfall weiter zu empfehlen ich würde gerne wieder dort sein

I booked the hotel because of the indoors swimming pool, upon arrival I was told it was switched off, the water would be cold. And it was.. Brrrrrr. Fortunately, management took immediate heed of my disappointment and sort it out, albeit a day later. Complementary breakfast tomorrow to make up for my lost day. And that, folks, it's as far as compensation goes in Latin countries. Should it be my lovely Scotland or the USA, compensation would equal an extra day or the equivalent in breakfast. I'm on a diet, anyway. Everything else is fine in the hotel, and I'm glad the initial shock came to a happy ending. ❤️

Bello il posto tutto ok pulizia.. colazione a buffett classiche... personale disponibile e gentile anche se ho trovato difficoltà per la distanza dal mare e dal centro, in linea d'aria e vicino pero non ti dicono che e tutto in salita, cioè bisogna risalire sulla strada principale per poi riscendere verso il centro girando dall'hotel Galé dove trovi in fondo le scale mobili, chi porta bambini con passeggini o sedie a rotelle ecc si trova un po di fatiche da superare, alle donne ... evitare tacchi perché i pavimenti sono impossibili con san pietrini in marmo che scivolano come saponette ne ho visto cadere varie persone rovinosamente compresa me, ah se andate a fare gite in barca catamarano ecc NON vi consiglio il primo chiosco appena scendete le scale mobili che da sulla piazza.. sono totalmente imbranati cambiano date o sospendono tranquillamente le gite cosi e difficile organizzare le giornate, spero vi siano utili i consigli. Ottimi i churros vicino scale mobili di sopra... un chioschetto piccolo ma sempre pieno...

The hotel is clearly recently renovated, everything is clean and spotless.
The pool area is really good with a lot of space (and free floaties!)
WiFi is free with no device limitation and it works throughout the resort.
During the night is really quiet.
There a shopping centre with a big supermarket right at the end of the road.
The staff is always polite.

Well appointed rooms with all amenities except for an iron. Close to everything with the main hub of activity in Albafeira being a 10-15 minute walk away. There is a Pingo Doce, Continente and sports shops within a 5 minute walk and the beach is a 15-20 leisurely stroll.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this magnificent hotel with my boyfriend! The rooms were spotless and the pool entertainment was fantastic! We enjoyed getting involved with water aerobics and volleyball by the very encouraging hotel’s entertainment leader! The hotel was also a great escape from the hustle of the new town and strip. Located equidistant from both the old town and new town, we were able to walk everywhere! Another benefit was having a supermarket opposite, especially as we were self-catered! Thankyou to all the staff at Luna Solaqua for making us feel welcome!

It's a very nice place with good facilities, though the staff are not always the nicest and there is loud music until 12 at night, and they don't always have time to clean the room. I still liked the place and it's in a good location. But don't pay top dollar for it!

Good location and hotel is fabulously spacious, well kept and really clean. Rooms are lovely with loads of space. Pool was quiter tbbe firzt few days but was busier and noisier over the weekend. But good fun. Spa treatments available also, would recommend the full body massage!

Have stayed 2 weeks here and another one coming up. Great central location..close to OLD TOWN. Within 1 to hour drive to anywhere in the ALGRAVE. Staff are very friendly. Our one bedroom suite is quite large. Stove ..fridge..microwave..all good. Indoor pool and hot tub great. Outdoor pool also a great place to relax. Very close to a grocery store and laundromat. Lots of free parking for rented car.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hôtel où le personnel est agréable et sympathique. Les services proposés sont au top. Nous avons aimé le lieu, l'ambiance, le décor, la piscine intérieur et son spa. Il faut noter également 5/5 les petits déjeuners et les dîners ou il n'y a que l’embarras du choix. C'est très bon et le service est excellent. Je conseille vivement cette adresse située à 5mn du centre ville et à 15mn de la plage, le tout à pied.

En general bien, pero el servicio de limpieza llegó muy tarde, a las 4 de la tarde y exigiendo que nos saliéramos para poder limpiar, (por suerte la más joven de las limpiadoras fue más prudente y aplazó la limpieza unos minutos); no había bidé y el frigorífico no funcionaba; la televisión sólo tenía canales en portugués e inglés, en español sólo uno; el último día vi algunas hormigas panaderas, de esas pequeñitas.
Pero bueno, el resto de personal muy amable, y como digo, en general bien aunque un poco flojillo en calidad para ser de 4 estrellas.

O quarto é grande, novo, bonito.
A piscina do interior no entanto - deixou à desejar= água segundo o.hotel com a temperatura ambiente ou de 28 graus= para nós significou uma água *********fria!!!!!
...Estavamos a procura deste hotel por conta da piscina é esperávamos no mínimo uma água === morna!

The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, the room is a very good size for a studio, good balcony overlooking a park and a sea view. The Old Town is about 25 minutes to walk were there are bars and restaurants. There is a large supermarket about 5 minutes walk were you can get virtually anything.

Last minute booking and really happy with this hotel, very clean and even though we are self catering the room is cleaned every day, the staff are very professional and can’t do enough for you, one employee stood out in particular Newton Sampaio the barman what a polite and extremely helpful person, remembered our names from the first night and pointed us in the direction of some great restaurants

Het eten was prima. Wij hadden HP geboekt en kan niet anders zeggen zowel het ontbijt als diner zijn uitgebreid, voldoende keus en prima van kwaliteit. Maar het appartement was qua ligging verschrikkelijk! Wij hadden appartement 301. Recht tegenover containers die midden in de nacht werden leeg gemaakt door vrachtwagens en wat zorgde voor veel geluidsoverlast. Ook lag ons appartement tegenover het zwembad van een ander hotel waar midden in de nacht gezellig gefeest werd en wat ook weer zorgde voor veel overlast. Wij hadden voor drie weken geboekt. Ik heb bij de receptie diverse malen gevraagd of wij een ander appartement konden krijgen. Dit was niet mogelijk! Verder is het erg jammer dat er niets wordt gedaan met het prachtige, uitnodigende terras bij het zwembad. Het ligt er verlaten bij en geeft hierdoor een trieste aanblik. Het personeel is vriendelijk maar niet echt capabel. Als je om een cocktail vraagt (waar ze mee adverteren) weten ze vaak niet hoe ze die klaar moeten maken. Het appartement werd pas (en soms pas nadat het werd gevraagd door ons) na 17.00 uur “schoon” gemaakt. Binnen 5 minuten waren de dames klaar. Medewerkers van de receptie zijn aardig maar kom je met een klacht dan is het “je bent de eerste die met deze klacht komt”. Hoort niet vinden wij. Kortom jammer.

A experiência nesta unidade vêm a repetir-se algumas vezes e em épocas do ano diferentes. Posso dizer que é sempre uma agradavel surpresa verificar que a qualidade e o bom atendimento mantem-se independentemente da ocupação. Muitos parabéns a toda a equipe e mantenham o optimo trabalho.

Really rate this hotel. I must say as soon as you walk in it just smells so clean! The rooms were really spacious. The breakfasts was really tasty and even had English sausages, red sauce and brown sauce. The pool was pleasant. It's about a 15 min walk to the beach. Theres shops near buy. We caught a taxi into the old town every night. Only cost about 3 euros. If you want to keep your room on make sure you book its before as we left it too late and it was booked up. We got changed in the spa which was fine but it was soo hot! Spa looked lovely though I didnt use the facilities just the changing area.

Hotel muito limpo como se refere, alguns colaboradores muitíssimo prestaveis, fiquei indignado com dois terem falhado num aspecto em que se encontra ao abrigo do hotel e a resposta foi (as portas das garagem se encontrarem fora do perímetro do hotel) e o parque pertence ao hotel!
Vidroa no chão, ao sair pisei-os eram 21h38 dei a indicação na recepção pois voltei a 1h38 pois ainda la estavam os mesmos no chão!!!
A meu ver perdeu imenso pois prestam um serviço 5 estrelas e falham noutra que é muitíssimo simples..

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this delightful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Lovely pool area. Central to both old town (10 min walk) and strip (10 min walk in opposite direction). 1 minute walk to shopping centre.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Plenty of choice for breakfast but a little let down as hot food was just warm. Would definitely stay here again. May book for a longer stay in August .

Stayed here for a week in May. We had a one bed room apartment which was perfect for all our needs. Small kitchenette was fine for the basics, we even cooked ourselves dinner one evening.
Breakfast was good, same offering each day but this is what we were expecting. We didn’t have lunch/dinner so cannot comment further on the food.
Pools were great both indoor and outdoor available. Outdoor pool was quite cold but given the time of year that was ok.
Get a pool view room! If you are on the other side of hotel you will have to put up with noise from adjacent hotel pool.
Staff were lovely, cleaning times were a bit odd & we missed them occasionally.
Can’t recommend this place enough, perfect location, clean spacious rooms. We will definitely be back!

This is quite a good place to stay. We were there for just a short spring break. They have good prices, friendly staff and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The kitchenette comes in handy if you want a tea at night or a glass of wine (Portugal has great wines). The indoor pool is perfect for the times when the weather doesn't allow you to use the outdoor one.

Very good clean appartments. Spacious, modern with cooking facilities. Ideally located for both the old town and new without having to have taxis (at least one way!) Shopping centre and supermarket nearby. Swimming pool clean and poolside drinks not overly expensive for a hotel. 10 minute walk to the beach if you do the shortcut through the Forte de Vale park.

Magnifique Appartement dans cet hôtel c'est très bien entretenu les pièces sont vastes, le salon, la cuisine , la salle de bains très bien équipée et la chambre à coucher avec 2 grands lits confortable et un coffre fort dans les rangement.Pour le prix raisonnable il est difficile de faire mieux.

We have just arrived home from 10 beautiful days in Portugal. This is the second time we have stayed in Sol Aqua. We loved our first visit because of the staff and location the hotel was also nice but it has now had some new renovations and it much more luxurious. I would recommend this hotel and will also stay there again.

Clean tidy great customer care. Only let down is the bar downstairs is more expensive than most places. Local superbock for a pont is 3.80 with no happy hour price. Compared to the usually 1.50-2.00 most other places.

Me ha parecido un aparente muy muy bonito y completo, grandísimo y súper limpio, las sábanas olían muy bien y la decoración muy variada y moderna, la atención bastante buena y precio asequible para estas fechas, por poner una pega... La piscina interior estaba el agua bastante fría, el ambiente no estaba muy cardeado, el jacuzzi perfecto... A pocos minutos de la playa en coche, alrededor muchos lugares para comer y bastante tiendas... Continente a minutos de los apartamentos (centro comercial?)

Calidad precio estupendo para un apartahotel de 4 estrellas ubicado a 10 minutos de la playa y a 20 de la famosa calle STRIP. Habitaciones modernas y espaciosas con todas las comodidades. Dispone de piscina cubierta y jacuzzi y de piscina exterior muy soleada. Recomendable.

Habitaciones muy amplias, con cocina y balcón. Las camas son muy cómodas. Tiene dos piscinas, una exterior y otra interior climatizada, donde es obligatorio el uso de gorro. Limpieza correcta. Buena ubicación. Muy recomendado

Absolutely fantastic whoever thought you would need a lifeguard in the pool is an absolute idiot, there are no lifeguards in hotel pools, if you can't swim don't go in the pool! The facilities were incredible the indoor pool was incredible - this hotel gets 5 stars as far as i'm concerned. My husband and I have stayed here twice and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant, short stay this time but would definitely return. Rooms are lovely with excellent cooking facilities, really clean and good quality. Staff are very helpful. Pool area is well situated and loads of sunbeds and umbrellas. Nothing to fault.

The hotel was nice and clean buffet breakfast was not good better to cook in your room.
The pool outside was freezing cold which was a BIG LET DOWN I think they had done something to the water as you could only swim for 10 minutes before having to get out and NO LIFEGUARD WAS THERE.
Down in the basement the indoor pool again had NO LIFEGUARD and the water in the pool was freezing the jacuzzie was nice but the chlorine was too strong. If theses things had been up to a better standard and the swimming pools warm enough to swimming I would of given a higher score.

Relaxed. In a good position 10 minutes walk from Old Town. Complimentary bus to Old Town at 8.35 and 13.35. Indoor and outdoor pools. Happy hour from 17.00 to 22.00 in poolside bar. Spacious appartment cleaned daily.

Hotel spotlessly clean .friendly helpful staff. Well situated to old town and strip. 10 mins walk to old town and between 4 and 5 euro for taxi to strip. There is a coutesy bus twice a day through the week (this needs to be booked at reception ).Good pool both in and out.Next door to large supermarket. Would use this hotel again

Nice apartment building. Daily cleaning and towels in abundance. Large pool with terrace at the southside of the building. We didn't notice any neighbors, so the building seems quite soundproof.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, very friendly staff very safe for children, the apartments are huge and spotless!! The food & drink is beautiful in the hotel Huge shopping mall literally right next to it, bus stop and taxi rank also, 5 min walk to old town which has everything bars/restaraunts, same walk to the beach, If there were 10 stars id give it especially for Pedro the barman cheers from the Cork/Irish crowd july 2016 see you all next year!!

Sin duda mi hotel favorito de Albufeira. Apartamentos muy amplios. Todo muy bien cuidado. Piscina cubierta muy buena. Al lado de un centro comercial donde puedes surtirte de comida y demás. Escasea el aparcamiento pero por lo demás es muy buen alojamiento. Recomendado.

Fuimos fuera de temporada 3 amigos (para nosotros alta temporada pues era el Rally de Portugal) y el precio fue irrisorio....3 noches por algo más de 100 € los tres, !! CON DESAYUNO INCLUIDO !!.
Habitación espaciosa, muy grande, con una habitacion de 2 camas y un sofa cama; baño limpio y amplio. Además tenía una cocina completa que no llegamos a usar.
Disponen de piscina climatizada y un pequeño jacuzzi para el uso de todos los clientes; además si eres valiente te puedes meter en el psicina (eso si, puede estar más que helada como cuando fuimos nosotros).
Para pasar unos días esta muy bien, con un pueblo precioso y encantador.

We have just returned home today after spending 10 days in sol aqua apts. the first thing we were impressed by was the size of our apts. the living area and the bedroom was very spacious indeed. More than enough room for 3 adults and a baby. The next thing we were impressed by was the staff. They were so pleasant from the moment we arrived! The bar staff especially, Bruno frank and the lovely lady who works there too. We can't thank them enough for all their kindness and for making our holiday so lovely. It means a lot to have people who are friendly even though they put in long hours!! Even our cleaners were lovely. Cleaned our rooms daily without fail. So nice and friendly. Our apts were literally a minute away from a shopping mall with a massive supermarket. So u will not be stuck for anything u need. All in all a fantastically relaxing holiday. Plenty of room at the pool area and u can get a taxi or the wee train to either the old or new town at the top of the street. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend it.
