Péssimo!!!
Simpatia, Zero!!!
Chegamos para pedir uma mariscada para levar para casa uma vez que não tinhamos possibilidade de ficar com os nossos filhos. Dois empregados passaram por nós e nem "boa tarde" e o terceiro perguntou para quantas pessoas, ao que respondemos que gostaríamos de levar umas sapateiras ostras e marisco variado. A resposta foi: não temos caixas para levar, boa tarde....e virou-nos as costas.. Ao que voltamos a perguntar uma vez que não percebemos sequer a atitude.. a resposta manteve-se negativa e voltou-nos novamente as costas...
Não recomendamos e não voltamos!!!

Restaurante relativamente pequeno, instalações simples, tudo meio apertado. É preciso ter paciência para almoçar aí, é melhor fazer reserva antes, pode não ter lugar. Refeições de boa qualidade, preços bons. O acesso é um pouco complicado, inclusive para os cadeirantes.

Me parece un abuso, una cerveza de 40cl 3'20€, un robo encima sin unas aceitunas y con un cenicero llebo de colillas. Ni en Marbella me cobran esto en pleno centro y seguro que me ponen unas aceitunas y. Buena cara. Asegurense de lo que le cobran.

Le restaurant est très bien situé, il est sur la place de l'église qui fait face à la mer. Les serveurs sont top. Je ne vais pas dire que les plats n'étaient pas bons, mais ils n avaient rien d'exceptionnels (ne prenez pas de salades) et les prix étaient excessifs. On ne sent pas l'ambiance généreuse des restaurants portugais, on sent vraiment le resto fait pour les touristes. Donc grosse déception sachant que c est un resto recommandé par le routard..

Ja wat zal ik zeggen, helemaal top, als je hier tijdens je verblijf in de Algarve in de omgeving van Lagos niet gaat lunchen of dineren dan mis je wat.
Als is hier met smaak klaargemaakt en ziet er voor dat je eraan begint ook nog eens mooi uit.
Van de inktvissalade tot de krab en van de grote garnalen tot de schelpjes.
Hier zijn je ogen altijd groter dan je maag.
Maar het personeel behoedt je voor te grote ogen.
Prijs ligt voor een zeer uitgebreide lunch voor 2 personen met een goede fles wijn en koffie na op een €100. Maar doen.

Sehr gutes Essen in Lagos. Direkte Sicht über den illuminierten Brunnen auf den Hafen. Anfang März 28°C und eine leichte Brise vom Atlantik. Die Portioben sind reichlich. Der Galao wurde von uns nach Berlin direkt an unseren Frühstückstisch importiert. Kann man auch schneller aussprechen als Milchkaffee.

Restaurant direkt am zentralen Platz in Lagos. Draußen kann man auch gut auf einen Espresso und etwas Süßes sitzen und dem bunten Treiben auf dem Platz zuschauen. Die Fischspeisen sind sehr gut zubereitet und die Fische aus der Kühltheke werden nach frisch zubereitet.

The waiter was too rude. My mother asked him if we could sit down in the yard, he mumbled a lot and we couldn’t hear anything. Then I asked if we could sit in another yard, he said: she asked if she could sit here, I said yes, then you ask sitting there. The. You sit there and she sit here. Then he stuck his tongue out and smiled. I don’t know if he thought he was funny in this way but I surely think it’s too rude. So we just stood up and went out. Then this man shouted behind our backs: you’re rude! You’re so rude!! Hahaha yes I’m talking about the tall waiter in his 40 or so. Such a pity that this idiot must have ruined many peoples’ good mood.

Very tasty Portuguese dishes, mostly meat and seafood. Not cheap. Outdoor and indoor sitting. Great service. Ask about fish of the day and maybe try seafood soup.

Interesting setting, good food (especially the seafood), a little expensive but worth it. All in all a fine little restaurant with a beautiful view on the people walking around. I don't recommend it, if you want to eat in a quiet place.

The restaurant is not expensive, but the food isnt worth the price, which can make you feel like you overpaid. Everything was just ok. I cannot say the food was bad because it was fresh. But when the fish market is 5 min away walking is that saying much? But it wasn't good. We had the clams and tuna and both were in the same sauce. That's just lazy. All in all it just is and that is all.

Excellent moment. La cuisine est très bonne et le personnel certes empressé est néanmoins agréable. Je recommande la cataplana de palourdes pour les déguster d'une autre manière. Prix tout à fait raisonnable : 48 euros pour une cataplana pour deux, deux soupes du pecheur, deux verres de vin et un café.

Cher pour ce que c'est.. 95€ pour 4 avec deux cataplana de poissons : que de la lotte assez fade avec un bout de raie immangeable car mauvais et c'était le bout du poisson alors que sensé être un mélange de plusieurs poissons...
La glace est industrielle, pas bonne et chère.. bref passez votre chemin..
En plus du groupe de personnes qui "jouaient" de la musique horriblement pendant tout notre repas.

Under the « Guide du Routard » recommandation we chose to try this restaurant. Really bad choice: the waiter was really unpolite, not willing to answer our questions about the different meals and when we asked to Carlos “do you speak English?” he answered meanly “and you? do you speak Portuguese?”. Moreover the food is simply disgusting and prices are high! How this restaurant can be certified by trip advisor and tourist guides???

Went there after we couldn't find a place somewhere else. Rather upmarket restaurant adjacent a large square. The setting could have been nice if it wasn't for some town festival blaring folk music next to us. My fish was nice but very expensive. My son's meat was too salty.
Overall an average meal at above average prices.

Great little restaurant by a picturesque square. Service was friendly and fast, helped accommodate our party of kids, parents and grandparents. The seafood rice was amazing, a huge portion for 2 that had crab, shrimp, clams and langoustine! The waiters also let my son taste one of the barnacles!

The server was incredibly rude, we sat at a table and were berated by the server in front of other patrons for sitting down. Other people in the restaurant were looking around and could not believe how rude the waiter was to us for no reason at all.
Don't waste your time here plenty of other welcoming places in Lagos. No need to waste your time with that rude man.

Comida rica, en especial la cataplana de pescado y marisco (aunque un poco escaso).
Lo peor, la atención del camarero que nos sirvió. Nos sentimos muy ignorados por falta de interés del mismo.
Desmereció nuestra cena. Es un complemento esencial.

Restaurant de qualité. La cuisine y est fraîche, savoureuse et copieuse. Vous trouverez un choix de plats de poissons ou de viande. Nous avons choisi du riz au fruits de mer très bien garni avec du crabe, des langoustines, des crevettes, des coques et de grosses moules bien pleines. On s'est régalés. N'hésitez pas à venir déguster un plat dans ce restaurant qui fait aussi bar où vous pourrez boire un délicieux et véritable jus d'orange naturel pressé.

Très bon restaurant avec une terrasse agréable donnant sur une grande place avec fontaine jets d'eau, restaurant bien situé, en retrait des rues agitées et bruyantes aux nombreux restaurants bondés de touristes. Cuisine traditionnelle portugaise, nous avons choisis une spécialité le riz aux fruits de mer (arroz de marisco), c'était copieux, nous nous sommes régalés

Acostumbrado a la buena comida portuguesa y a la amabilidad de sus gentes, este restaurante me decepciono. La comida regular. Los camareros también regular, siendo generoso. El precio es caro, si lo comparo con la atención recibida y la calidad. Es cierto que el había mucha gente, pero eso no justifica la mala atención. Yo creo que estando donde está, turismo a tope, siempre van a tener clientela y eso hace que bajen la guardia en todos los sentidos. Mi consejo es que busques otro para comer, hay muchos. A parte de los camareros que nos atendieron estupendamente, con amabilidad y simpatía, los productos que tomamos eran frescos y de calidad. Tanto fue así que al día siguiente decidimos ir allí a cenar de nuevo. Probamos los percebes (increíbles), las almejas con aceite y ajo, unas navajas, unos pescados frescos riquísimos y un buey de mar (sapateira como dicen ellos). Eso sí, el buey de mar estaba espectacular pero la cabeza no la hacen con vino blanco, la hacen con mayonesa... Pero el sabor es increíble.

We are a family of four who were seated by one of their wait staff from outside. Immediately after being seated, a younger waiter came over and angrily asked us if we had reservations. He also said that we should not have sat down at the table. He continued berating us for the next 5 minutes. I could not believe the rudeness coming from this waiter. He even waved us off in a rude manner. We left immediately after this rude treatment. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

DON'T GO TO 2 IRMAOS! I just left this place minutes ago. I was well greeted by 1 server who seated my family and I. Moments later I start getting interrogated by another waiter about whether I have a reservation and why I didn't ask before sitting down. I didn't like his agressive tone so we left. Don't give these clowns your business. You'll see other reviews about rude servers so beware and DON'T GO TO 2 IRMAOS!!

La posizione, nella piazza più significativa e ariosa di Lagos è molto bella. Anche se quando ci sono eventi c'è una gran confusione. In mezzo a innumerevoli offerte nella zona più turistica della città emerge per la sicura qualità del cibo e del servizio. Senza voli pindarici e con prezzo un po' turistico.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This is not a restaurant. It's just a joke. I could not even call that edible food. The stuffed calamari are actually calamari with their intestines...it's definitely something wrong with the translation. And on top of all this, the waiters are very rude. Just don't go there...it's a big trap.

Came to Lagos 25 years ago and have returned to different apartments and villas every year since. 2 Irmaos is the best there is, rated on any scale, food wines service. We always reserve this for our farewell meal....keep the best till last. Wonderful.

Bijzonder dat er zo veel goede reviews te vinden zijn over dit restaurant. Ik kom nu 20 jaar in Portugal en heb er zelfs voor een periode van 1 jaar gewoond. Ik ken de Portugese keuken goed maar wat deze gasten er van brouwen is niet Portugese te noemen. De vis is niet vers, huiswijn is niet te drinken. Ik laat nooit een review achter maar dit was niet te doen en veel te duur. Prijzen van 85euro pk ja leest het goed. Dus niet doen als je van echt Portugese eten houdt en niet belazerd wil worden.

It was my first place where I ate In Lagos and I was super disappointed. I've noticed that it's touristic place and maybe that's why the food is not fresh and tasty. I took fish soup which was more or less OK, and salad with salmon. And there was spoilt leaves of salad. I was surprised in bad way especially when I noticed it after I'd almost finished the salad. Sad that the owners think about how to get money from tourists not how to make their dishes better :-(

Had a wonderful evening here and would have given 5 stars if the staff had been as friendly at the start of our visit as they were towards the end.
We shared 3 starters between the two of us, clamps, mussels and prawns. All were fresh and very tasty.
We were offered a free Port at the end of the meal and when the waiter realised that my friend doesn't drink it, he gave her a different drink.
I would have given 4.5 if possible as I will certainly come back when next in town

Um restaurante top, bem decorado, excelente vista para o centro de Lagos e com muito boa comida! Desde o atum à algarvia até à taça de gelado, tudo ótimo!
Por outro lado, apesar de ter tudo para ser um restaurante 5 estrelas revela-se uma péssima experiência dado o atendimento rude e agressivo por parte de um dos empregados, que insulta e empurra os clientes, mas também os seus próprios colegas de trabalho.
Um restaurante tão bom não pode admitir empregados medíocres como esse.

Atendimento eficiente e simpático. Localização fantástica. Entrada: cogumelos recheados muito bons. Prato principal: prego do lombo no prato, carne óptima. Sobremesa: tarde de chocolate com gengibre, fantástica! Recomendo vivamente. Preço médio/alto.

The food is decent, the steak Portuguese style a highlight. The prices are exorbitant, and there are better places to eat that won't hurt the wallet as much.

Their service was excellent, the server was very punctual, welcoming and kind. We tried their octopus salad and fish egg salad and we really loved both of them, would definitely recommend you try. We tried their sole and dorada and they were very fresh and tasty. One of our favorite restaurants we tried in Lagos.

Simple mais savoureux, prix abordables et personnel accueillant.
La vue sur la place et l'église est charmante.

Wir waren heute spontan im 2 irmaos, weil es uns von einem Einheimischen empfohlen wurde und waren sehr enttäuscht. Das Ambiente haben wir als sehr ungemütlich empfunden, die Bedienung war etwas schroff. Geschmacklich war das Essen an sich nicht schlecht (daher die 2 Sterne), aber der Salat schwamm im Öl und das Hauptgericht (portugiesisches Steak) war lieblos bzw. nicht schön angerichtet. Mein Fazit daraus ist das ich das Restaurant keinem weiter empfehlen werde.

Um verdadeiro nojo. O atendimento é vergonhoso e se forem portugueses ainda é pior. Deviam ser fechados pela asae e os empregados deportados para a siria.

Leuke setting, gemiddeld eten. Steak Portugese is het net niet. Sausjes bij entrecote iets te veel richting pakjes smaak. Wijn keuze is royaal en goed. Herdade das Servas rood is een aanrader.

Had a great diner on the terrace of this restaurant. Good fish and Portugese specialities. Basic menu, smaller quantity but more refined than most other restaurants.

Le cadre est sympa et les plats corrects mais rien de gastronomique bien sur. Il faut tout de meme noter que les prix sont tres abordables. Une bonne adresse pour gouter aux specialites Portugaises a moinde cout.
