The food here is edible - whether flavourful or tantalizingly delicious is another question. Let it be clear that this is a buffet. They serve some hot items like noodles, chicken, pork, beef and sushi - all along the lines of "asian cuisine". For 11.95, you can have it all. The price is fair and the service is decent. I think the main fault of the restaurant is that once you serve everything, you can never assure to perfect the flavours of your menu items. It becomes a trade off between choice and a delicious food.
Being in Faro, I think that it may be worthwhile to explore further and find local restaurants to serve you. Other restaurants may not have the variety that Chalet offers but you will gain an unforgettable dining experience.

Heerlijk eten voor een bijzonder lage prijs. Het ziet er binnen heel luxe uit. Er is meer dan voldoende keuze in eten met voor elk wat wils, van sushi tot frietjes voor de kinderen en allerlei andere heerlijke gerecht. Ook ruime keuze aan toetjes. Zeker een bezoek waard.

The sushi is fresh, but always the exact same options. The food is average. The combination between the chinese buffet and the sushi buffet, makes this restaurant ideal for a big group of people. Everyone can be happy with whatever they chose to have. The restaurant is also very big and has large tables.

Великий ресторан китайської кухні. Дуже багато сидячих місць в середині, відкрито на обід і на вечерю. Приємне і спокійне місце. Є безкоштовний інтернет і завжди грають найновіші пісні. В ресторані шведський стіл, їжа знаходиться відразу готова і є дуже великий вибір суши і різних пікантних закусок. Не дуже балакучі робітники і завжди з серйозними лицями. В основному їжа смачна.

I was very surprised reading all these good reviews here after visiting the Chalet restaurant. It is true that the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the buffet is very cheap. But I didn't enjoy the food at all. The normal Wok Buffet was very small and very standard food, like you would expect it coming from a supermarket freezer, but okay. The Sushi buffet was huge and was the reason that made me enter the restaurant. But the Sushi was really not good. The quality was not good and they nearly only had super strange, exotic sushi variations with strange pineapple sauces or similar put all over the Sushi - it made the impression this should distract you from the bad quality of the fish (the salmon was quite delicious but the tuna for instance was really not good). The dessert was also really strange and not delicious at all. All in all it was a kind of okay, but unsatisfying dinner, especially for a buffet.

Honestly one of the best sushi buffets I have ever been to in quality, variety and price. In the short time I was in Faro I visited twice and always wanted to go back for more. Their takeaway box is equally as awesome.

Das Lokal an sich ist sehr schön, Toiletten sind sauber, Personal ist super nett. Das Buffet an sich war ok, aber die Auswahl hielt sich in Grenzen. Für veganer oder Vegetarier eher wenig Auswahl, aber auch generell war die Auswahl nicht groß. Leider waren an dem Essen keine Etiketten, man wusste also oft nicht mal was am Buffet ist. Sonst war alles ok, Preis war fair.

Went to Faro for the first time! Found good reviews of this restaurant so went to try it and I can say it’s great sushi and buffet as eat as much as you can !!! Loved the service and the manager was attentive on the details and customer service! Will recommend to friends and family!!! Thank you !!! Will come back if come to Faro ....

Um dos meus restaurantes favoritos. Além de ser bastante espaçoso, tem uma decoração diferente nas varias salas, o que acho giríssimo. Comida tipo buffet chinesa e japonesa, variada, frasca e saborosa. Staff simpático e acessivel. Recomendo vivamente.

This is a great place if you are on a budget and would like to satisfy your hunger. Very nominally priced buffet. The small takeaway box is also a good deal, you can stuff enough food in it for one meal. Taste is just fine, don't go there if you are looking for a fancy gourmet meal.

I went there with my girlfriend, it was really nice. The self-service table is amazing there. Everything was really tasty. Stuff was nice and helpful. But the biggest advantage was amazing sangria! Local people were saying that we need to go there and strongly recommended this place. Now without a doubt we can recommend this.

If you are looking for a buffet you can try this one. Price is very good compared to the food quality. Service is good but staff weren’t very friendly. Around 12 euro for an open buffet including sushi but excluding drinks.

점심 10유로 저녁 12유로 정도의 뷔페입니다. 튀김요리와 스시, 각종 고기볶음이랑 육해산물 구이가 있어요! 구워주는 서비스는 자리에 있는 번호가 적힌 클립을 접시에 꼽아서 키친에 가져다주면 됩니다. 맛은 그냥 그러니 정말 배고플 때 싸고 배불리 저녁을 해결하고싶으면 추천. < 해외카드안됨>

They have very limited options. Their sushi is not fresh, the food is tasteless, and they don’t offer glasses of water, instead they give you little plastic bottles that cost $1.50. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re starving and it’s the only place open.

Opções interessantes para almoçar ou jantar com amigos. Buffet de sushi, carne grelhada e acompanhamentos variados, num conceito abrangente que cruza comida chinesa com outras variantes. Sala muito grande mas em que é possível estar com um grupo sem que haja contaminação do ruído de outras mesas. Staf simpático.

Les plats maintenus au chaud sont quand a eux un peu fade.

Very limited choice. Sushi are tasteless.. the "fresh" product for woks are not covered and place next to each other. Use of the same ustensiles for grabbing different kind of food. Very good sangria (11€ for 1l) 9.95€ for lunch and 11.95€ for dinner as all you can eat.

€12정도에 먹을 수 있는 초밥&롤 부페, 다른 먹을 것도 많고 맛도 괜찮아요. 해산물이랑 고기 골라서 가져가면 직접 구워주는데 맛나더라구요. 소금은 빼고 구워달라고 하세요.
음료는 불포함인데 음료를 시켜야 디저트도 먹을 수 있어요.
다른 외국인들 앉아있는 테이블 보니 술 시켜놓고 천천히 오래 먹는 것 같았어요. 저희는 1시간반 정도 있다가 나왔는데 벌써 나가냐고 하더라구요^^;;;

菜的种类有点少，味道还可以，不是特别好，但也不难吃。有个中国女服务员有点不厚道，我们俩人吃了27欧给了30欧不用找，问她买瓶水，又要了2欧，后来一看，那水在旁边超市只卖1毛7。事儿不大，感觉不太好，所以后来就没再去。
