We had an amazing day with Ruben touring castles, gardens, beaches, and cliffs. Highly recommend. Our lunch was fantastic, the sights were incredible, and our tour guide was amazing!

With little time in Sintra, we chose Wonder Vans to visit the area with a local guide. We had Alex as our guide. His pride and knowledge of the area made our tour most enjoyable. We visited Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. He quickly secured tickets and shared with us the history of these two palaces. Alex then drew on the maps personalized itineraries based on the time and energy we had to visit the extensive gardens. The drive back to Sintra was filled with more stories and the wine tasting was delightful. Alex’s enthusiasm to share the soul of this region will be most memorable. Highly recommend Wonder Van tours as a way to experience the beauty of Sintra!

My friend was not feeling well and we decided to tour around with a tour guide instead of taking bus by ourselves. That was absolutely a right choice! Ruben drove us to many sceneries and explained the history to us. He is very nice and kind and caring.

We spent the day with Ruben. He is a warm and lovely person who was born in Sintra. Our group of 3 spent 4/5 hours with Ruben showing us the sites of Sintra. It was like hanging out with a knowledgable friend. Even if you have a rental car DON'T DRIVE IN SINTRA! There is no place to park and the traffic is crazy on the narrow road. Ruben shared with us what it was like growing up in Sintra and his favorite things to do and see. At the end of the day he left us with a gift of his favorite Sintra Cheesecake and a wine tasting wich was the top of our day. A truly lovely day.

Fuimos a Sintra (mi familia) y decidimos que queríamos hacer un recorrido por los monumentos, porque la opción de autobús para nosotros no sería viable. Tan pronto como nos bajamos del tren, vimos la cantidad de guías que ofrecían el servicio. así que para escapar de tantas preguntas, caminamos un poco y encontramos a Wonder Van y Alex, quienes nos brindaron un maravilloso día con una degustación de vino de Oporto incluida en el recorrido. We booked a tour with the company, and we had Ruben as a guide.He showed to be very well informed about the area, lead us to Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, and Pena palace. The circuit inside the places was explained by the guide and it was very easy and fun to do. In the end of the day Ruben took us to a wine tasting in local spot,were we were also very well received. Thank you so much for the memorable day.

These guys are amazing! No matter what you choose to do with Wondervan I promise you will have the best time in the world. The guides are 5*, very well informed and super friendly, all locals and they make you feel like the Tour was made specially for you. Super suppost before booking and after, office works wonderfully. Für eine Tour in der Gegend von Sintra war Ruben von WonderVan übertrieben. Er war so ein netter Kerl sowie kenntnisreich, höflich und professionell. Ich würde dies jedem empfehlen, der nach Lissabon reist, um sich die Zeit in Sintra zu nehmen. Wir haben so viel auf unserer Tour gesehen, hätten es nicht alleine schaffen können. Es war der größte Wert von allen, wenn ein Einheimischer seine Liebe zur Region teilte.

Die Tour war absolut fantastisch! Wir haben so viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gesehen, dass wir sie ohne den Führer nicht einmal bemerkt hätten! Er hatte viel Hintergrundwissen und erklärte alles sehr gut. Prachtige tour gemaakt. Door Sintra, westelijke punt van Europa en cascais. Alex was een geweldige gids met veel kennis en plezier in zijn werk. Hadden ook begrip dat wij de Tour met twee jonge kinderen op een andere manier wilden indelen, al met al een aanrader.

Hicimos una ruta por Sintra en Jeep, espectacular, viendo los principales monumentos, todo muy bien super profesionales, explicaciones de todo, el offroad, súper divertido, te dejan a la puerta de los principales monumentos y enseñan la mejor ruta para verlo todo perfecto, el guía/ conductor Rubén, majísimo super pendiente de todo,cada detalle y explicación de toda la historia de Sintra y monumentos muy bien todo supre recomendable la exoeriencia y el guía, para volver a repetir ....en cuanto el trabajo lo permita

We were a group of FUN Ladies from Ont, Canada and Tomas was our tour guide for a day Nazar, Fatima, Obidos... the information Tomas provided was very helpful in providing us with all his historical knowledge, well worth the trip. HE took his time and was v ery laid back and spoke great English. We book Tomas for the next day and did Sintra ra. Hope they elect you Mayor of Sintra someday soon ☘

Arrived at Sintra at 1pm tour guide found our group of 6 women looking a bit lost ..We booked a half day tour in an air conditioned wonder van. A wonderful experience thanks for all the information and an excellent tour "Nunoy" would definitely recommend.

DO book a private van tour to Sintra. This is the way to do a day trip to Sintra during the busy summer months. DON’T take public transportation to Sintra and wait in the long lines for the buses and trains. Especially if you have children. Our driver/guide of the day was Alex. He is young, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about Portugal’s history and architect. He also was very mindful and considerate that we had a baby. Your driver picks your group up in front of your hotel and then asks you which places in Sintra you really want to visit. Realistically you only have time for 2 palaces in Sintra if you also want to do a combined trip with Cascais and the lighthouse. Tip: Buy tickets online in advance to only see the outside of Pena Palace, because the line to get inside was insanely long. The outside of the palace is the most beautiful. If you wait in line to go inside Pena palace, then you won’t have time to see anything else in Sintra. We then went to Quinta da Regaleira which ended up being the highlight of our Sintra trip. The well and garden is truly unique. The ticket line was also long, but this is when having a tour guide pays off. They have special badges that allows them to skip the line and buy tickets for the group. This will save you so much time because Quinta da Regaleira does not have online ticket sales. Alex was the best guide! Loved how he stopped at less known photogenic spots off the road that had sweeping views of Pena palace and Moorish castle.

Una fantástica experiencia de la mano de esta empresa, no sabíamos porqué empresa decidirnos, ya que al llegar a la estación de tren, nos bombardearon con numerosas empresas. Wonder Van nos dejaron un buen precio por ser un grupo numeroso, además fuimos en todo momento en un coche sólo nosotros sin nadie más durante todo el día, además lo más destacable fue nuestro conductor, que nos hizo de guía y nos acompañó en todo momento super amable y simpático (Le hice numerosas fotos para poder dejar esta fantástica reseña :P ) ¡100% Recomendable!
