Heerlijke plek. Heel veel zwembaden! Wij hadden zee zicht geboekt. Aanrader Heel veel rust aan die zijde en ook echt zeezicht! Strand is even klif naar beneden. Maar valt mee. Ligt wel ver uit het centrum. Taxi biedt uitkomst en is goedkoop.

This resort was one of the nicest places we have been to. Beautiful grounds, five different pools, big spacious apartment and staff so friendly, what more can you ask for. Will definitely be back

Fantastisk resort til en badeferie. Med et dusin rene pools fordelt udover området, snørklede gangstier og palmer og planter overalt, er det hyggeligt overalt. Kan anbefale deres Apartments, som vender ud til havet, både for udsigten og fordi de ligger lidt væk fra nattelivet ved baren. Der er stier ned til en fantastisk atlanterhavsstrand med eventyrlige klippeformationer.
Hele området er præget af resort og turister, primært englændere og hollændere, og madpriserne er ikke vildt lave. Man skal tage til Albufeira for den slags, og for lokal kultur. Men af et resort at være er det virkelig top, også med børn!
NB: pools er ikke opvarmede, så kan være lidt kølige tidligt på året.

Hard to believe this place is only a 3 star resort. Very clean. Very scenic. Great facilities for kids. Playground right next to a bar lots of pools. the drinks in the bourganvillia bar were gorgeous especially the cocktails. However the food was a lot more expensive than local restaurants and but NOT good quality. My scampi was just frozen and deep fried. 5 minute walk to beach with incredible views. We had a car rented because it is quite far from albufeira old town.

Absolument magnifique. Ne pas Hésiter à prendre les appartements vu sur le jardin étant donné qu'ils sont transversales les chambres donnent sur la mer !!! complexe génial pour les familles, de nombreuses piscines, accès à la mer par un petit escalier privatisé en 5 minutes à pied supérette dans le complexe au top du top nous y retournerons!

Paradijselijk genieten! Prachtige omgeving, ruime en schone kamers, veel zwembaden, azuurblauwe zee en mooie strandjes tussen fantastische rotspartijen. Ontbijt goed, buffet 's avonds soms goed soms minder. Het ligt rustig buiten het meer toeristische en rumoerige centrum (20 min loopafstand).

Nos encantó a toda la familia, muy bonito y agradable, los jardines muy cuidados y variedad de servicios. La única pega es que el parque acuático aún no estaba abierto a pesar de que se supone que en mayo lo estaría, y las niñas se quedaron con las ganas de probarlo. Pero ya lo harán, porque seguro que volveremos!

Complejo estupendo para desconectar e ir con niños. Tiene una piscina climatizada en el spa y otra en el exterior que está cubierta. Y muchas a todo el alrededor de los pisos. Playa cercana. Tienda dentro del recinto donde poder comprar a buen precio y para la compra del pan diario. El piso está totalmente amueblado y la cocina es estupenda...no le falta detalle. Lo peor es la television que solo tiene un canal en español que es la 1 TVE pero de carácter general..la programación no corresponde a la TVE de España. Aconsejamos que lleven un mapa de Portugal con las indicaciones de llegada hasta el hotel porque el GPS al entrar en Portugal no funciona porque se os va el internet y lo pasas realmente mal. Por lo demás genial. Aparcamientos fáciles y seguros justo donde te alojas. Preciosas vistas nocturnas. Pista de tenis, de fútbol, parque infantil..etc.

Wonderful family resort. Many pools including a dedicated kids pool and sports facilities and entertainment. A short walk to the beach and local shops. A quick shuttle to nearby Albufiera runs regularly and there are many outings available collecting daily from the hotel reception.

We stayed there for a week and we liked it, the facilities are good and the staff are kind and helpful. There is one indoor pool which is not too cold, but the outdoor pools where very cold, we visited in April, so the weather was around 19° they are probably ok during summer. They have a shuttle bus to the town centre for a small fee. And there are small shops near by. And sandy beaches within walking distance. All together very good value for money.

Muito bom a estrutura do Resort. Piscinas, restaurantes, bares, vista para o mar, mercadinho, segurança e muito mais. Realmente valeu cada centavo. Atendimento do pessoal foi muito bom. O quarto, então, surpreendeu pelo tamanho e conforto. A única coisa ruim é que não tinha elevado no quarto que fiquei, o resto, foi top!!!

I had a great apartment and the two-bedroom accommodated my family of 5.
The food was okay and the spa was really nice. I had two hot stone treatments. The beach was gorgeous and great for our family photos.
There are a few things that the resort should explain:
The wifi that is further way from the building that reception is in will have very slow connection or known at all. It is also 5€ per device.
The safe box lock is 1€ per day.
Washing one load of clothes will cost €10.
If you swim in the indoor pool...please bring a swim cap due to being required or you could buy one for €2.50 per person
The Easyway tranfers that are offered are good, but the drivers do not interact much with you.
I would recommend Uber..they are faster and nicer.
The reception desk need more help to better assist their customers.
I will probably not return back to this resort due to services not being explained on the website better. I think it just helps families to budget better when they know most of your ammenities is not included in stay.

Super mooi appartement (3 kamer - zeezicht). Alfagar Village bestaat uit een hoofdgebouw aan de voorkant en 2-3 laags appartementen aan de zee kant. De appartementen hebben een erg rustige ligging. Het strand is goed bereikbaar middels een trap (+/-15m naar beneden). Diverse zwembaden inclusief kids zwembad met glijbanen, perfect dus om met kinderen heen te gaan. Ook omgeving is mooi, Albufeira kun je te voet doen (30min) maar met auto 7min en je staat in centrum. Gratis parkeren in centrum. Auto kun je tevens huren op Alfagar Village zelf (tip!). Het restaurant op het park is aan te raden, zeker in vergelijk tot de toeristische restaurants in centrum van Albufeira. Ook is er een supermarkt(je) waar je elke dag verse stokbroodjes kunt halen en de krant. Appartement wordt 2x per week schoongemaakt incl nwe handdoeken. Qua gehorigheid van het appartement is het reuze mee gevallen, vanaf 22u is het gewoon superstil.

Had the most fabulous view from the large and comfortable balcony. Well equipped, comfortable apartment in a good location. Grounds are beautifully maintained, beach is clean and full of lovely sand, mini-market well stocked and not overly expensive. Pool areas spotless (indoor and out) Gym has a good range of equipment. So relaxing and peaceful. Entertainment nightly, bar reasonable. Loved it!

Tout est tres bien entretenu, le parc et la végétation environnante est magnifique. Une propreté irréprochable dans lappartement. Le personnel est charmant et aux petits soins pour nous. Une supérette très complète pour prévoir le nécessaire. Un grand calme, en lien peut-être avec la saison (fin mars..) et beaucoup despaces de nature autour des résidences.

Gelegen direct aan de kust en aan de rand van Albufeira ligt Alfagar Village. Het geheel heeft een gedecentraliseerde setup van geschakelde appartementen complexen met maximaal 3 verdiepingen waarbij ieder appartement beschikt over een eigen balkon.
Het zandstrand is bereikbaar middels trappen vanaf het hoger gelegen terrein.
De medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo is het printen van de retour boarding passen een gratis service bij de receptie.
De appartementen worden 3 x p/week schoongemaakt waarbij badkamer en aanrecht worden gereinigd met bleek. Ook wordt 3 x p/week
de handdoeken vervangen.
Al met al is de service goed op orde en zijn de appartementen mooi & schoon.
Een echte aanrader!

Wir waren nun das vierte Mal im Alfagar Village und sind wieder sehr zufrieden gewesen. Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption war sehr gut und alle waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das gebuchte Appartement hatte einen wunderbaren Meerblick und die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein! Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt!

O pessoal muito simpático e prestável. Limpeza impecável. Espaço muito agradável com infraestrutura de desporto (cortes de ténis e campo multiuso com relva sintetica) o que proporciona divertimento e prática desportiva para toda a familia. Piscinas diversas, duas das quais aquecidas e parque para crianças. Area envolvente cuidada e agradavel. Recomendo vivamente.

Nette kamers en een mooi complex.
Beetje jammer dat je zelfs voor het licht op het voetbal veldje moet betalen.
40 euro per uur!!!... (al hoorde ik van andere bezoekers 35 !)
Ik vind het niet normaal.
Het is beleid dat de lampen niet aan kunnen..maar na betaling dan is t geen probleem!!...
Erg jammer en erg teleurgesteld!!!!
Op het moment dat wij er waren (1e week maart) .. vooral wat oudere mensen... en voor de kinderen weinig te beleven!!

De appartementen van Village zijn onderdeel van het hotel en je kan gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van het complex. Kamer zijn netjes en onderhouden. De schoonmaak is voldoende.
Het grote pluspunt is dat er geen "handdoekje gelegd" wordt bij het zwembad. Dus genoeg ligbedden beschikbaar gedurende dag.

Lieu parfait pour les vacances. Accueil au top, appartement incroyable, propreté irréprochable pour des vacances de rêve. Tout est fait pour que l'on ne manque de rien. Tout est sérieux et toute demande est traitée avec considération et respect. Nous avons compté 11 piscines dans tout le complexe... La salle de sport est bien mieux équipée qu'il n'y paraît sur les photos, les cours de tennis sont parfaits avec possibilité de louer raquettes et balles pour 10€ l'heure. Petit dej chaque jour identique mais il y en a pour tous les goûts en salé sucré. Tout est frais et fabriqué au fur et à mesure. La végétation est luxuriante et tout est au cordeau. La vue sur l'océan est splendide, l'accès à la plage pittoresque. Uber fonctionne dans la région, bien pratique. Notre appartement comprenait 3 chambres et 1 grande terrasse avec transats. Magnifique... Bref nous avons passé une super semaine en famille et nous y retournerons sûrement. Merci à tout le personnel !!!

Schitterende locatie zeker de kamers met zeezicht.
Wij hebben kamer 218 gehad waar niets op aan te en merken is.Alleen is het er erg gehorig en er zitten op de bovenste verdieping 4 honden die zich op regelmatige basis laten horen.
Maar het is en blijft een prachtig park met goede schoonmaak en fantastische faciliteiten.

Piękny i zadbany hotel. Niczego tu nie brakuje. Pyszne jedzenie w restauracji jak i barze. Moim zdaniem jedną z najlepszych cech tego hotelu są jego pracownicy, którzy są zawsze uśmiechnięci i zadowoleni ze swojej pracy. Dobrym pomysłem jest też sklep wybudowany na terenie ośrodka sklep z różnymi artykułami spożywczymi oraz pamiątkami. Ponadto lokalizacja hotelu jest świetna, ponieważ jest blisko do miasta jak i do dość dużej plaży. Bardzo dziękuję za udany wypoczynek :-)

Voornamelijk mooi weer, mooie stranden en een rustige omgeving met op steenworp afstand toch de mogelijkheid om te feesten voor wie nog graag doorgaat tot in de late uurtjes.

Ficamos decepcionados. O lugar é lindo, mas o serviço é fraco demais. Houve um vazamento no quarto e no banheiro. Além. De alagar o banheiro com água, não se sabe de onde, o vazamento do quarto ficou gotejando a noite toda. O detalhe é que o formamos o problema e ninguém tomou a ação para trocar de quarto. Tivemos que conviver dois dias com o problema ou perderíamos os passeios para ficar resolvendo aquilo que qualquer pessoa com bom senso resolveria. Ficou por isso mesmo.

As a whole the complex was nice, multiple pools including 2 heated pools, short walk from the beach, nice views, good food and nice staff. We had a few issues with our room, one being the ceiling leaking over one of the beds after some rain so we had to move apartment. Alfagar its self is good for shopping and eating/drinking but otherwise there's not much to do. We had a decent week but wouldn't go back.

an amazing complex with everything you need for a week away. we really have had the best time here. The pools were lovely although a little cold but the kids had a great time. our standard apartment was spacious and well equipped, sofa bed a little uncomfortable but the beds in the bedroom were perfect. Black out curtains allowed the children to get plenty of sleep. Very reasonably priced mini supermarket that sold everything! The meals we had on site were delicious and fresh, and every staff member we spoke to was lovely. Would definitely return.

A great complex with plenty of options of pools for the kids. The apartments were large and the kitchen well stocked and highly usable. The on-site supermarket had everything you needed and was reasonably priced for a mini Mart. The only downside(depending on your nighttime preferences) was the nightly entertainment at the bar - this was very loud if your apartment happened to be in the vicinity, but it did finish at 11pm. I felt that it didnt need to be quite so loud to entertain those who wanted to partake. Id stay here again.

Had a wonderful 6 night stay at The Alfagar Village. The resort is gorgeous, with 6 (that we counted!) Pools, one including slides and an infinity style, and also an indoor. The gardens are lovely , and there is access to the beach, ( down wooden steps , so not suitable for prams and may be a struggle for some) which is absolutely stunning. Our apartment was situated by the wonderful on site supermarket, which has a selection of fresh vegetables and breads and a deli counter,and is well stocked with all the usual supermarket things you could need (no need to bring your own tea bags!Lol!).
The apartment we booked was in block one on the third floor (stair access) and was a one bed (two large single beds together ) with a pull out double sofa in living room. The modern kitchen had a cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee pot, along with all the cooking equipment and cutlery, glasses etc. Our balcony was large and had a great view of the garden and pool, and came with table ,chairs and a lounger, and an airer on wall for drying clothes.
There are several places to eat and drink at The Alfagar. The main restaurant at the hotel has buffet breakfast and dinners ( definitely recommend the breakfast!). Next to the restaurant is the Redbar, which serves beers,spirits and cocktails (made by Ricardo, a great barman).
There is also the pool side bar at the Alfagar village which has a great menu of meals and snacks, and also cocktails, beers, and soft drinks, with a games room and a play park for the children, and has entertainment each night from about 8.30pm onwards.
The staff at the Alfagar are incredibly hard working and friendly, and made our stay a very pleasant one, many thanks to all of you!. Would definitely recommend a stay here as the surrounding area has so much to see and do, for all ages, and it's a beautiful hotel. Hope to visit again soon!.

Wunderschön gelegen, mit eigenem Strandzugang. Kinderfreundlich und flexibel. Sehr schöner Urlaub. . Leider ist eine Bar in der Anlage, die etwas laut ist abends... Daher ist nicht jede Wohneinheit geeignet für Leute, die es gerne ruhig haben. Das Personal ist aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

8 Tage erstmals an der Algarve.Gebucht ohne Mahlzeiten, was durch die Supermärkte und den sich im Village befindlichen Laden kein Problem gewesen ist.Lokale befinden sich in Fußnähe und nach Albufeira kommt man günstig mit dem Taxi (ca. EUR 7,00).

É triste vir tantos anos passar férias mesmo sitio... E no bar do empreendimento Alfagar Village só atendem estrangeiros e os portugueses que estão na esplanada nem sequer sejam atendidos, são obrigados a falar inglês para serem atendidos! Uma vergonha... Tem de ensinar os vossos empregados de bar a não diferenciar nacionalidades! NÓS ESTAMOS NO NOSSO PAÍS!

Obwohl keine Hunde erwünscht hier in der Anlage , trotzdem gebelle

Supermarkt in der Anlage,der alles hat( Morgens frische Brötchen usw.)
Der Rest hat aber auch seinen Preis.
Tip wenn Leihwagen, Lidl und Aldi ca.6 Minuten entfernt.

People not as friendly as those in Majorca (and I know they can sometimes be a a bit abrupt so it's all relative). Also quiet a few Chinese and Indian restaurants which seem a bit out of place however Carpe Diem restaurant serves ok food and the waiter we had was professional and friendly.

I never imagined this resort would be so vast and so beautiful. In large well maintained gardens with easy access to the beach by steps. Also has 3 spacious pools. The entire resort is very well maintained and the pleasant staff work hard. My 2 bedroom self catering apartment sleeps 6 & is large and fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Each bedroom and the lounge have separate balconies. Views of the coastline are breathtaking. Food on site at the bar & restaurant is also very good. Staff are friendly and entertainment is provided each night. Turn left out of the resort for a choice of good eateries. I will definitely be booking into this resort again!!

A large resort, beautiful gardens, 3 separate pools and accessible steps to the beach (for the able bodied). Staff are friendly, bar and restaurant sell good food. I booked at 2 bed apartment. Very spacious, fully equipped, however slightly dated. Beds are extremely comfortable though.Turn left out of the resort and within 2 miles there is a good choice of places to eat. Will definitely be booking here again!!

Twee weken heerlijk verblijf gehad op dit resort. Voor elk wat wils van jong tot oud. In ons geval hadden wij achteraf spijt van ons vooraf gereserveerde ontbijtbuffet. Dit is een wirwar van mensen die zo snel mogelijk, zoveel mogelijk willen eten. Een enorm chaotisch tafereel en dat elke ochtend opnieuw.

Ruime appartementen, goede schoonmaak. Het ontbijtgebeuren is echter een RAMP! Veel te weinig capaciteit voor teveel mensen. Tafels worden op de gang geplaatst om mensen onder te brengen. Tussen 8 en half 11 ontbijten en op ieder tijdstip in de rij om de zaal binnen te kunnen, dan wel in de gang een tafeltje te krijgen. Kom he net zn tweeën, dan heb je helemaal pech.. tafeltjes worden maximaal gevuld en 2-persoonstafels zijn er bijna niet. Voor ons eens maar nooit weer alfagar..

Friendly and assertive service. We loved the rooms they offered, spacious and well equipped. The perfectly maintained parks in and all around the area and the direct connection to the seaside made it impressive and worth every penny. Lovely village feel with plenty of swimming pools to keep everyone happy. The grounds are immaculate at this place, lovely walk to a really nice beach, great choice of pools for relaxing and also the kids pool with the slides. Food not great in the resort, we ate here only once but there is a really lovely Portuguese restaurant down the road. Friendly staff. No complaints.

12 dagen gebleven in mijn vakantie. We zaten eerst in een appartementje met een klein balkon, uitzicht op het afval en in de hoek. Geklaagd bij de receptie en toen 2 dagen later een beter appartement gekregen (met €20 bij-betaling) met een groot balkon, uitzicht op het zwembad en geweldige locatie. Vlakbij de zee. De bar in het vakantiepark raad ik af, slome bediening en onaardig.

Afhankelijk van waar je zit zijn de appartementen in de village top! Ruime kamers en groot balkon (Afhankelijk waar je zit). Uitzicht van ons balkon (met zeezicht) is fantastisch en mooi rustig gelegen. Zwembaden, restaurant en supermarktje dichtbij. Veel goede eetgelegenheden in de buurt en anders op kleine afstand met taxi ( goedkoop). Hotel doet een beetje kil en sfeerloos aan... je moet ervan houden. Hygiëne in de appartementen kan wel wat beter. Zwembad (met zeezicht) is top maar wel toe aan wat onderhoud aangezien er aardig wat tegeltjes misten. Strand is dichtbij en bij eb geweldig en bij vloed leer je iedereen goed kennen. Bij zwembad helaas wel handdoekje leggen ondanks verbod. Helaas werd er niks aan gedaan. Restaurant in de village is lekker, maar sommige medewerkers kunnen belabberd tot helemaal geen engels...

Truly love this place. Had such a fantastic break with my family. The Alfagar is a great place to stay for all, young families, friends, couples, and the more mature. The apartments are well equipped and there is plenty of space to walk around the well kept gardens. The Alfagar has grown over the years and it is a place well worth a visit. It isn’t far to walk to the shops and lovely restaurants or you can eat in the resort restaurant and then enjoy the after dinner entertainment in the bar. There are several pools to choose from and plenty of space to lounge around or enjoy a drink on the veranda.

Nous avions réservé pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants ( 7 et 13 ans) nous avions 2 lits pour bébés. Nous avons demandé à la réception des draps pour 2 lits (mais ne parle pas un mot de francais) la personne nous a dit ok. Ils sont venus mais pour 1 lit et sans oreiller, mon fils de 13 ans a donc dormi sur le canapé avec une couverture et nous avons partagé nos oreillers avec nos enfants. Un seul appareil de chauffage fonctionnait. Sinon propre et joli

First holiday in Portugal. People friendly & area spotless. Our Apartment was absolutely beautiful,it had everything we needed,the verandah was massive..
The Restaurant catered for all tastes,it had the best selection of food I have seen & was in an idyllic setting overlooking the pool. There are no less than five pools dotted around Alfagar Village where we stayed.There is a shop on site & a supermarket across the road for essentials,there are Restaurants nearby for eating out..We LOVED our stay in Alfagar Village & hope to be back some day..x

Wunderschönes Resort direkt an der Steilküste.Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Am ersten Tag war die Orientierung wegen der Grösse der Anlage schwierig.
Sind erst am Abend angekommen und fanden die Rezeption nur nach mehrmaligen Nachfagen.
Sind aber durch das wundervolle Ambiente entschädigt worden.

Wij hadden een appartement met 2 slaapkamers en zeezicht. Bij aankomst bleek dit een super ruim en netjes appartement te zijn met zelfs 2 badkamers, een ruim terras bij de woonkamer en een 2de kleiner balkon bij de slaapkamer. De keuken is groot genoeg met voldoende servies e.d. Er hangt een flatscreen tv met 2 Nederlandse zenders en er is zelfs een strijkplank met strijkijzer aanwezig. Het is wel wat gehorig, vooral als de (boven) buren een stoel aanschuiven, dat hoor je goed. De afzuiging in de beide badkamers zou beter kunnen, de badkamers blijven lang nat na het douchen. De verwarming is in december erg aangenaam. Het hele complex is mooi aangelegd met veel groen, palmbomen, verschillende zwembaden, 2 tennisbanen, voetbalveld en speeltoestellen. Helaas zijn de buitenzwembaden in december te koud maar is het verwarmde binnenzwembad heerlijk. Volgens de beschrijving worden de handdoeken 2x per week gewisseld, maar deze zijn bij ons haast dagelijks verschoond. Iedere ochtend kan je lekkere verse broodjes bij de minisupermarkt kopen. De afstand naar het centrum op naar de strip is wat te ver om te lopen dus een auto huren is aan te bevelen. Zoals wij vooraf ook gedaan hebben. Vanwege het winterseizoen zijn veel restaurantjes en winkeltjes gesloten, maar er zijn er ook nog voldoende open. Zowel Alfagar Village als een zonvakantie in de kerstvakantie is een aanrader.

Resort is very well designed. Beautiful place to relax with great see views, lots of greenery etc.
The things that I wasn't happy with were...
1. AC wasn't fully controllable. There wasn't a remote for it.
2. The fact that there is no washing machine in the rooms means you will have to carry all the clothes to a common area which is a paid area which will be mostly occupied so there is a long wait at times since there are only 2 washing machines for the whole resort!
3. We were lucky not to opt for breakfast or the half/full board meals as they weren't good. Not much options at all. For a vegetarian specially you will have to rely only on salads only which is not bad but not everyday by paying 20 euros for a buffet!

Allein der Eingang und Service ist super.
Unsere Wohnung war verdreckt und die Türen und Fenster haben nicht geschlossen.
Die Verpflegung ist teuer (Ein kleines Stück Baguette mit Tomaten (Um die 10g) = 2:50€
Die Pools sind eiskalt und da deswegen niemand schwimmt, sind sie sauber.
Für den Preis etwas enttäuschend...

Great resort, stayed here for ten days in November in a self catering apartment. The whole complex is very clean, and beautifully layed out. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and very relaxed. The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed, view overlooking the sea and the beach a just a few minutes walk through the gardens.

Park is prachtig en de omgeving erg mooi, ons appartement ook goed op wat mindere puntjes na. Gedurende de paar dagen dat wij er waren schilderwerkzaamheden in het trappenhuis, met glijdende dekens op de trappen. Dus uitkijken geblazen. Verder stank in de badkamer en een wasbak met verstopte afvoer.

De accomodatie is prachtig! Echter de appartementen betreft een time sharing complex. Nadeel is dat 1 vermogende familie veel eigendom heeft op het park en er zelf permanent woont. 1 zoon is psychisch niet helemaal in orde. Vertoont zeer vreemd gedrag zoals schreeuwen, palmbomen knuffelen en elke 5 minuten in een restaurant opstaan om een takje van een plant af te knippen. Die zelfde persoon zagen wij vanuit een geopend raam een automatisch wapen lijkend op een M16 geweer richten op een kat. Bij ons brak er paniek uit en we vluchtte naar binnen met 6 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen. Flink wat blauwe plekken tot gevolg. Toen wij de security belde kregen wij al snel door dat het hotel hiervan op de hoogte was. Ze vertelde ons dat dit een airsoft wapen betrof. Een dag later werden we uitgenodigd bij de manager die ons met een stalen gezicht aansprak op onze melding. Ten eerste was het geen echt wapen, ten tweede is een airsoftwapen niet verboden in Portugal, ten derde had hij niet op ons gericht maar op een kat en daarnaast was de jonge man een zeer intelligent persoon die nooit op mensen zou schieten. Kortom we stelde ons aan.
Ik ben 15 jaar politieman en ben van mening dat ook een airsoftwapen niet thuis hoort op een vakantieresort, schiet je niet op katten en hoort iemand met de geestelijke gesteldheid als deze persoon geen airsoftwapen te hebben. Tevens zijn dieren verboden op het resort. Deze familie heeft echter 5 honden die overal lopen. Om maar aan te geven hoeveel invloed ze daar hebben. Mocht dit alles je niks uitmaken is het een prachtige locatie.

Nice hotel, it was kept very clean and the apartment sizes are very good for the price you pay. The restaurants in the hotel aren't great however there is a huge selection not far from the hotel. My personal favourite was manzo, which was a little further but completely worth it.

Top Hotel mit sehr grosser, gepflegter Grünanlage und einem Pool für jeden Tag der Woche ;-)... wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt!
Einziges Manko ist das Essen, ist es doch zur sehr die breite Masse und ein zu kleines lokales Angebot.
Mein Fazit ist somit, das Hotel sehr gern wieder einmal, doch dann nur mit Frühstück und lieber auswärts Verpflegen.

Lovely, lovely place. Staff were absolutely fantastic especially with our 2 year old. Our half board room was fantastic. Nice comfy beds, superb balcony with views of the surrounding garden area and the pools. Food was most excellent as well. Plenty of selection at breakfast and dinner.
Would highly recommend hiring a car to explore the local area. Tuk tuk rides can be taken but are expensive, although its a brilliant, novel way of getting around.
Would highly recommend a trip out to the islands around Faro, youll see them on aproach to landing there. Its a beautiful, unspoilt area that reminiscent of a tropical island with white sandy beaches and bluey green waters

Beds suck balls (v.firm) but everything else was amazing. Lovely villas. Beautiful grounds. Fantastic, always helpful staff. Taxi rates into new town, old Town, and marina were really reasonable. Highly highly recommended for family's (pools everywhere). Other resorts we seen don't even compare. It's pricy to eat in the hotel but there's an amazing Italian across the road.

Sehr schöne Anlage, am Tag durch Kinder am Haupt-Pool etwas lauter, in der Nacht aber sehr ruhig. Zimmer und Anlage sind sauber, Essen im Restaurant war Buffet mit täglich wechselnd Angebote. Hat unseren Geschmack getroffen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Für Allergiker am Buffet wenig Info/Beschriftung.

It was really hard to find our room. There are few and not highly visible signs. There is no internet service included with the room fee. The hotel doesn’t advise you so until you inquire at which time if you would like to pay $1 EU per device per day, you need to go all the way to the reception to pay for it and get a passcode. Our room was underground and what was considered a cave room. It was really in a kind of cave. Not fond of it.

The resort was very big and takes time to work out where everything is. Lots of amenities for kids. Steep access to beach. Breakfast was good but very busy and noisy. Apartment was ok but again noisy. If you are light sleepers like us this is not the place for you. We were glad we were only staying the one night.

Se trata de un apartahotel con muy buenas instalaciones. Posee 5 piscinas, una de ellas climatizada, pistas de tenis, fútbol sala, mesas de ping pong, 2 bares y espectáculos entre otras cosas. El lugar es grande, como una especie de urbanización y a decir verdad inspira seguridad.
Para todo esto, hay que tener en cuenta que es un lugar barato. La playa está a unos 5min andando y la zona de fiesta a uno 20 mins.

Im Hotel sind hauptsächlich Familien. Das Hotel ist auf der selben Anlage wie das Alfagar II Aparthotel und man teilt sich die Pools, Restaurats und Bars. Es gibt 2 kleinere und einen größeren Pool. Von einem der kleineren Pools hat man einen schönen Meerblick.
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, dieser ist aber nur eine Bucht und man kann dort nur bei Ebbe liegen da der Strand sehr schmal ist und bei Flut die Treppen hoch zum Hotel nicht mehr erreichbar sind. Man ist vom Hotel in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt wo es ein paar Cafes und Souvenirshops gibt. Will man jedoch ins Stadtzentrum Albufeira mit den vielen Bars und Restaurants braucht man ca. 10 minuten mit dem Auto.

Very good facilitates. Apartments very nicely presented. Everything you need contained within the village, mini market which is very well stocked every day, nightly entertainment, choice of restaurants. On arrival you are taken with your group by golf car to your accommodation which is a great idea after hours travelling. Large choice of pools and grounds beautifully maintained.

Waren 14 Tage in einer Appartementwohnung untergebracht.Schon etwas älter aber sehr sauber. Nur mit Frühstück gebucht (für jeden etwas dabei und reichlich aber keine Abwechslung)da wir für die Urlaubszeit ein Auto gemietet hatten.So sind wir nach Ausfahrten Essen gegangen. Empfehlenswert Portobello,La Bodega und Aroma di Mare.Haben aber auch mal selber gekocht da eine Küchenzeile vorhanden ist.Anlage riesig und der Strand ist über eine Treppe erreichbar. Oder Pkw 1km direkt an den Strand. Wlan sehr langsam, hatten genug mobile daten.Wir können die Anlage bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen,würden den Urlaub gerne wiederholen

Große Hotelanlage mit vielen Möglichkeiten!!!!!!! Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat ist nur, dass die Temperatur der Pools schon ziemlich kalt sind und, dass das Buffet beim Frühstücksbuffett relativ klein ist. Sonst top!!!!!!

Really liked the holiday we had here. Beautiful shoreline, beaches, clifs and caves. Alfagar Village has many pools for young and old. Buffet food was allright. Little shop to buy food. Some entertainment at night, kids club for the kids. Really friendly staff. We also made use of the heated pools and restaurant of the hotel next door. Only bad thing is cockroaches.

Our second visit to this hotel. Looks like the rooms have been renovated, ours was lovely. Even though this place is only a 3 star, it does feel higher. Would recommend.

2 sklepy, boisko do piłki nożnej, niezliczona ilość niekrytych basenów (nad jednym z nich są skrzyżowane palmy!!) Boisko do tenisa, restauracja z pysznym jedzeniem, wypasiony plac zabaw, zejście prosto na piękną plażę nad oceanem. Po prostu czuć tam wakacje! Hotel zawiera też inne rzeczy, na przykład stół do bilarda. W pokojach łóżka bardzo wygodne, kuchnia i łazienka.

Goed resort. The way it is setup does not give you the feel that you are on a big resort.
There are multiple pools so you can pick one you like. We stayed in on of the appartments and that was good,clean and spacious. Avoid getting an appartment close to the bar as almost every night there is music untill 1 am (unless you want to be able to crawl back after a night drinking at the bar). The quality of the food in the bar is that out of a snackbar at an increased price . Access to the beach is possible but you have climb some significant stairs to get back to the resort. The onsite mini-market gets you all the basics you need and fresh bread in the morning.

W Alfagar Village byliśmy już po raz trzeci. Na ośrodku znajdują się 4 wspaniale baseny, w jednym dzieci mogą bawić się cały dzień. Schodami mozna zejsc w 3-4 min. na ok 600m dluga piaszczysta plaze. Znajduje sie tam wypozyczalnia sprzętu wodnego,np jetski 15min za 40€ oraz restauracje ze smaczną świeżą rybą, ok 40-60€ za kilo z menu. Poza tym w Alfagar jest niedrogi sklep gdzie można kupić wszystko co potrzeba (piwo 90c€) oraz dwie smaczne restauracje, a w jednej z nich live Music z karaoke. Wypożyczalnia aut, boisko do piłki, dwa korty tenisowe, bilard, ping pong, oraz dodatkowo organizowane rozrywki gwarantują świetną zabawę i niezapomniane wakacje. Koło przede wszystkim Anglików Niemców i Holendrów spotkacie także Polaków. Polecam i pozdrawiam

Comfortable Holiday apartments in a resort setting. Spacious apartments that are updated and well furnished. Sizeable balconies. Pretty setting next to cliffs overlooking, beaches and the ocean. Plenty of swimming pools. Place attracts lots of families with children but overall not annoying like some resorts where kids run wild. Exceeded our expectations.

Wir waren in einem der sehr geräumigen Apartments des Hotels untergebracht! Wir waren drei erwachsene mit zwei Kindern! Auf Anfrage wurde direkt bei Anreise ein babybett in unser Zimmer gestellt. Die Zimmer haben ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer mit essbereich, Küchenzeile und ausziehcouch.Die Küche hat alles was man braucht wenn man sich dort selbst versorgen möchte. Vom Backofen über eine Mikrowelle bis zum Wasserkocher.Außerdem hatten wir zwei separate Schlafzimmer. Beide hatten einen eigenen Balkon. Das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig und immer sehr sauber. Im gesamten war das Zimmer immer schön sauber.Die Anlage an sich war der Hammer. Besonders mit Kindern findet man mit zwei Spielplätzen, drei Pools und einem großen Pool mit rutschen für jeden was!Wir waren Mitte April im Alfagar village was bedeutete das es noch sehr leer und ruhig war.Im Haupthaus ist ein restaurant, eine Bar und eine große Terrasse. Der Fußweg von unserem Apartment dort hin war fussläufig ein zwei Minuten zu erreichen. So wie alles andere auch zb. Der kinderpool, die Spielplätze oder das Meer. Einen kleinen Supermarkt mit sehr viel Auswahl zu super Preisen befindet sich in mitten der Anlage! Das Essen im gesamten war gut. Für jeden was dabei!Der Abgang zum Strand ist das einzige was ich bemängel. Die vielen Stufen hinab sind doch schon sehr abenteuerlich....Ansonsten sehr sehr gepflegte Anlage!

Vakantie park met mooie witte laagbouw appartementen. Er zijn 4 buitenzwembaden verspreid door het park heen, en een binnenbad van het naastgelegen hoogbouw hotel (Alfagar II), wat ook gebuikt mag worden. Heel veel groen, palmbomen, bloeiende struiken, perfect onderhouden. Via een steil pad kan je vanuit het park naar het lager gelegen strand, heel mooi! Aanrader!

One of the best views from an apartment that I have ever had. The grounds were kept superbly and the apartment was well kept and comfortable. The minimart had a good selection of products to buy although they can be fairly costly. I went in April and the weather was good for visiting the local beach which is a 5 minute walk down a few steps which may be a problem for more elderly people. However, overall, the resort impressed me with the facilities like tennis courts and swimming pools. It's also slightly away from all the hustle and bustle of Albufeira but close enough to visit there. I would highly recommend this place to couples or families.

Прекрасное место для семейного отдыха. Красивая, ухоженная территория. Большой, великолепный пляж. (Спуск к нему по крутым ступенькам - для людей с ограниченными возможностями не подойдёт). Апартаменты чистые, уютные. Если брать номер на первом этаже - у вас будет выход в сад, но будете слышать как соседи ходят и шумят по потолку. Стиральные и сушильные машина на территории (инструкция на многих языках, в т.ч. и на русском). Для интернета надо на рецепшн брать модем. 35 евро залога и 5 евро в сутки за использование. В номерах уборка. Вообщем, была приятно удивлена соотношением цена-качество. На расстоянии 10-20 минут езды много других красивых пляжей. Есть магазин на территории - маленький. Ближайший супермаркет - 10 минут пешком. На будующие поездки обязательно буду останавливаться в этом отеле.

Had a fantastic holiday here over 10 days last August lots of swimming pools and activities to do spacious apartments shops on site and some beautiful views from certain parts of the hotel beach is 2 minutes walk also .my partner had a fall on the last night and got quite a nasty cut to her elbow the lady at reception and her colleague (a man ) the lady was a former paramedic attended to her cleaned up all the wound and gave some medical advice on how to look after herself we were lucky to return home without incident scary time but with the help from the staff at alfagar village we would've been lost. Appartement propre, ménage fait presque tous les jours, site très propre pour la partie positive.Pas une fenêtre, ni baie ne ferme correctement , une baie était tellement en mauvais état que l'on voyait dehors . Le chauffage très moyen et en panne par moment. Vous en avez juste pour votre argent.

Even though this resort offers just about everything, the one thing it does not offer is heating in the room. Since I stayed here during a winter month, it was freezing throughout the night; this is the only hotel I stayed in during my decades of extensive travels that I woke up multiple times because my body was freezing. This resort is also humongous catering mainly to Northern European sun & sea leisure travel tour groups, so cultural tourists like myself will find a one night stay enough of an experience. This views of the coastline at the reaort’s waters’ edge is fabulous indeed.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, zowel aan de balie als de schoonmaaksters, ook aan de bar en het restaurant. Heerlijke omgeving, fijn om te wandelen. Je kunt makkelijk alle kanten op, langs de kust of het binnenland, maakt niet uit.

Uważaj za co płacisz. Zarezerwowałem 8 miesięcy wcześniej droższy apartament z widokiem na morze a dostałem z widokiem na zakurzony plac budowy. Prosiłem o apartament na jednym piętrze ze znajomymi a dostałem 2 piętra wyżej. Nie płać więc za za widok bo i tak go nie będziesz miał. Lokalizacja na klifie jest super. Baseny fajne. Sklepik i restauracje na terenie ośrodka. Plaża duża i ładna. W pokojach jest wszystko co trzeba. W miarę czysto. WiFi to lipa, dostęp tylko przy recepcji i restauracji. Weź najtańszy pokój to będziesz zadowolony.
