Amazing place. Alberge is located in old monastery house. There is a great vibe to the place. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. It's clean and well maintained.

Dit huis voor pelgrims is gewoon helemaal goed. Fantastisch ontvangst. Geweldige eigenaren zoon en moeder. Je voelt je zeer welkom hier. Kwam helemaal tot rust en opgefrist kon ik weer verder met mijn caminho onderweg naar Santiago de Compostella

The most beautiful Albergue!!! Warm, cozy, historic and absolutely stunning. The host, Hugo, is kind and informative. As it was pouring rain when I was there, we all snuggled by the fireplace. It was a great spot to rest and rejuvenate before continuing on El Caminho. Close to small shop, cafe and restaurants, however there is also a full kitchen available. Laundry may be done as well. The most comfortable beds!! And facilities are wonderful. Highly recommend! Thank you ❤️

One of the best albergue. It is a very beautiful place with some horses and sheeps running around. There is a good location to sit outside and watch the sun going down. Everything is very clean. Would not hesitate to come again.

This place is the best!! From the hotel quality mattresses, sheets and blankets on the bunk beds to the amazing grounds, everything was top notch. Hugo even took several of us to the next town to buy groceries as the local market was closed. The kitchen and dining room facilities were top notch. I would highly recommend.

Ein kleines Paradies! Wunderschön und ganz viel Liebe zum Detail! Eine Oase der Erholung. Sind spät angekommen, durften im nachbarhaus gegen Spende schlafen. Frische Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Bier wein etc. Zwei Pferde und ein paar Ziegen gehören zum Grundstück!

Bellissimo. Il miglior albergue di tutto il mio cammino... Gestori gentili che diventano amici dopo 1 minuto. La struttura è bellissima e con un gran giardino con cavalli pecore galline. Letti comodissimi. Lenzuola e asciugamani. Cucina e soggiorno spaziosi.

Best albergue on Portuguese camino, owner Hugo is very calm and nice guy, the place is amazing inside and out, very clean, I got real Portugal feeling, it’s in small village and beautiful beach in 1,7 kilometer distance, you can see the ocean from backyard, also 2 horses and sheep, lemon trees and grapes, this place has it all, if we ever come back to Portugal we will come back to this place because it’s so nice and beautiful, for piligrims and not only. I really recommend to stop in this place at least for 2 days to take a break from walking and get feeling off this beautiful country.

We have stayed here for one night and I must say that walking further to Carreco was worth it. A beautiful place with a garden, charming swimming pool, animals (horses, sheep). Nice cosy shared bedroom, comfy beds with all the bedding, equipped kitchen where you can cook and shared area where you can eat, rest, talk with other pilgrims. Definitely recommend!

This albergue is my absolute favourite on the Camino Portugués so far. You will love to stay here unless you want a five star hotel room. This albergue is a very lovely place. As soon as you enter the place you'll feel like home. Every little thing is designed with love. I stayed here for two nights because I am so in love with that place! The personal is very! friendly. There is an option to wash your clothes for 2€. You don't have to to.anything but collecting your clothes. The personal will be doing everything else. They will contact you when your clothes are ready so you can dry them outside. The showers and toilets (very clean and close to be luxurious) are located right next to the sleeping rooms (I think there are at least 2 sleeping rooms, each with 5 double bunk beds). 20 opportunities to sleep in total. You can also sleep in one of the tents outside the building. There is a very lovely designed kitchen with a fridge. You can buy beer, wine, CocaCola and other drinks like coffee and tea. Everything quite cheap.
I definitely recommend this place!
12€ per night for a pilgrim.

The main albergue bunkrooms were already full, but we were allowed to sleep in the still unfinished building. It was a beautiful building where we slept with just two others. The downside was that the toilet and shower were in the different building. This was compensated with that we could pay donation based.
The owner is very friendly. The albergue is beautifully situated an an old family farm. It has a little pool, horses and sheep, hammocks, a kitchen, living room. Everything you will need as a Pilgrim!
The village with little cafe, bakery and basic minimarket is close by. Don't feel like cooking? For €5 a nice big plate of food (we had a veggie pasta and chicken with rice) is dilivered! Soda, beer and coffee are available for a small fee
Definitely recommend!

Was soll ich sagen....nach einem anstrengendem Pilgertag dass beste was mir passieren konnte. Eine super schöne Unterkunft mit sehr liebenswerten und freundlichen Menschen. So gut wie in den Betten habe ich lange nicht mehr geschlafen. Wenn man Glück oder alle sehr nett fragen findet Abends ein Gemeintschaftliches BBQ statt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich geführt. Ein Gemeintschaftsraum für schlechtes Wetter ist genauso vorhanden wie eine Küche zum selbst benutzen. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Supermarkt und einige Möglichkeiten etwas zu Essen und zu Trinken. Wir hatten auf alle Fälle einen sehr schönen Abend dort.

Assolutamente magnifica, gli hospitalero sono gentilissimi e ti fanno sentire a casa. Luogo stupendo, letto grandi e comodi, i letto fra loro hanno distanze umane, ogni camerata ha i suoi bagni e docce private...
Anche la cucina è attrezzata di tutto per ogni pausa...fuori ci sono gli animali che è c’è un panorama sul tramonto senza pari...per scatenarsi c’è pure una piccola piscina...per un pellegrino è una sosta in un paradiso..assolutamente da concedersela allungando un po’...

Amazing!!! Beautiful place, like in storytale! Perfect modern reconstruction with all new equipments in old 150 year old building. Very cozy, smart, clean, attractive, creative... and staff... Hugo and Alex was like from other planet. For peregrinos is only 12.50€ per night. Thank you. Only pne thing, in winter can be heater in sleeping room helpful. THANK YOU for fantastic experience!

Дуже атмосферне альберго, можна відчути і дух каміно, і Португалії.
На жаль, є проблеми з душем. Коли хтось вранці пішов у душ, затопило усю кімнату, речі просто плавали.

4.9 엄청난 평점에 기대가 컸나보다.
깔끔하고 친절하다.
12유로의 값을 충분히 그 이상 하는 곳.
다만, 2층에서 자는분들은 좀 불편할것같다.
오래된 건물이고 나무로 지어진거라 2층에서 보면
그리 깨끗하다고 못느끼겠다.
내 침대위에 돈벌레를 보는 순간부터...
.
하지만 너무 친절하고 깔끔하다.
맥주도 맛있고, DVD도 원한다면 보게해준다.
여기서 본 ‘이터널 션사인’은 영화를 보는 내가 영화속에 있는 기분이었다.

omg, the place is really as great as the others described. you get fresh towels and white clean sheets- to sleep like a queen. it has it's own mini bar and some other food items that you can pay for and take it without going anywhere. the host was also super friendly and helpful, they do have washing machine- just ask for it- it is 2 euros. I love horses- and there were two freely walking horses and some other animals so it really feels like you are in the countryside- loved it. the restaurant nearby made the best pilgrim dinner- there were so much of delicious food, would def go there again.

Friendly hosts, cozy interior, clean beds with nice crisp white linen, fluffy white towels, perfectly equipped bathrooms, green surroundings with horses, close to an ATM, restaurant, shop and bar. A definite highlight hostel on our Caminho Portuguese Costa. Thank you Hugo, Pedro and Co!

Absolute Klasse! Es war ein animalischer Traum!!!! 2 Pferde, 5 Schafe, 1 Hund und 4 Katzen. Auf dem Camino sind Tiere für die Seele unentbehrlich! Gegen einen Spendenpreis war in der Herberge vieles erhältlich. Die Matratzen waren sogar ein wenig komfortabler als meine daheim
Der Herberge hatte einen ganz eigenen und sehr besonderen Charme. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend! Kostenlos wurden wir in den 7km entfernten Supermarkt gefahren. Eine andere Pilgerin wurde in diverse Schuhgeschäfte gefahren...
Diese Herberge war außergewöhnlich!!!! Die Musik, die Stimmung... der Charme,die Einrichtung. Alles war einzigartig und unvergesslich!!!! Am meisten werden mir die Gastfreundlichkeit und die Tiere in Erinnerung und im Herzen bleiben!!! Nur weiterzuempfehlen!!!!! ❤

Endroit magnifique, calme, paisible et magique ! Les pèlerins peuvent même y séjourner plus d'une nuit. La compagnie des animaux, de moments de repos sur un hamac et l'excellent accueil font de ce séjour une expérience unique !

This albergue is more expensive than others (12€) but it is definitely worth it! The place is newly renovated, you get a comfy bet and a clean towel and the host also makes a soup for dinner (1,50€) and leaves bread and milk for free in the kitchen for your breakfast.

Diese Herberge muss man besuchen! Alles ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl!
Außerdem ist an alles gedacht. Für einen kleinen Preis ist sogar Bier vorhanden. Der Ausblick wenn man morgens aufsteht ist unbezahlbar.
Kleiner Hinweis - wenn ihr eure Klamotten raushängt, passt auf das Pferd auf! Mein Pullover wurde kurz beschnüffelt und hatte danach dringend eine Wäsche nötig

The Perfect place to stay on your journey in Portugal. The nicely equipped rooms are comfortable ,clean and modern. The Hostel has a fireplace, kitchen and a Washing machine for your use. The host Hugo is really Great and helpful. We liked this Place so much, that we Paused our journey and stayed an additional Night and will definitly come back another Time.

Ich würde mit Recht behaupten, dass es dir schönste Unterkunft auf dem ganzen Camino de Portugues war!
Mit Liebe und ausgewählten Möbeln eingerichtet und gestaltet. Ein schöner Kontrast aus altem erhalten und Modernem eingebaut.
Der Besitzer ist super nett und man könnte zum ersten mal Bedauern, dass man am nächsten Tag wieder weiterläuft.

400+ years old stone house, horse, sheep, fireplace, a big table, dream showers, huge beds, stable beds, bikes to the ocean, full kitchen, great guests, awesome family-run hostel, made by traveler for travelers.
All this for a fair price: there is a flat fee that is not dependent on the season or any circumstances.

a Carraco non puoi non fermarti qui da Hugo che è un ottimo hospitalero! Bellissima casa in pietra con grandi stanze da letto e un bagno incantevole. Biancheria pulita e letto già pronto senza dove usare sacco a pelo o altro. Piccola cucina con tutti i comfort e sala da pranzo dove rilassarsi. Il giardino è il pezzo forte della casa con vista sul faro che di notte è spettacolare! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Hundred-years old stone house with a luxury interior, equipped with all necessary and modern infrastructure. Our very kind host even gave us bikes to ride to the nearby supermercado. Wooden beds in two dorms are very confortable. I have never seen such a good place to stay as a pilgrim.
