Gostei do local, pirotesco e bem localizado. A workshop foi interessante a comida produzida foi boa mas a componente formativa foi inexistente por parte das oradoras. Valeu pela experiência e pelo tema.

We have stayed in numerous types of accommodation from luxury hotels to hostels in Spain and Portugal in preceding weeks. Dona Emelia was our favorite on many levels. A small scale guest house that has been a labour of love, with great architectural value and highly thoughtful amenities. They have guest comfort and experience at top of mind. Clean, central and very stylish and unique. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Wundervolle Bleibe auf meinem Weg nach Santiago. Rute und Nano sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und authentisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wird bereits im der Nacht angerichtet, sodass man morgens ganz egal wie früh man los möchte, frühstücken kann. Vielen herzlichen Dank!! ❤️

Wie eine große WG. Tolle Räume. Bitte nicht den Anspruch an ein Hotel stellen, sonst wird man enttäuscht. Sehr stylisch eingerichtet.

Uma estadia maravilhosa. Passamos uma fim de semana em Viana de Castelo por lazer e para visitar o festival de cinema. Achamos que o lugar é perfeito quer para uma viagem de fim de semana, quer para estadias mais longas. O prédio está bem reformado, com uma decoração moderna e elegante, e um pequeno-almoço incluído muito variado e delicioso. O mais importante, porém, é que os donos da casa de hóspedes [Rute e Nuno] são gente duma qualidade humana extraordinária, e fazem a pessoa sentir-se como na casa. Temos a ideia de voltar! Recomendamos muito!

Zu Empfehlen Sehr trendig und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein 3 Bett Zimmer was sehr groß war. Eine Terasse gehörte dazu, wo man den Abend genießen konnte. Das Bad ist ein Gemeinschaftsbad was vielleicht nicht jeder mans Geschmack ist. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit .

Sehr persönlich und individuell. Schönes Haus und schöne Zimmer. Beste Lage mitten in der Stadt. Die Küche und das Frühstück sind klasse. Die Inhaber sehr freundlich und angenehm. Ruhige Atmosphäre.

Um conceito muito particular de alojamento turístico. Os hóspedes, não são apenas hóspedes neste espaço. São convidados. Convidados a viverem em família durante a estadia, com a particularidade de estarem no centro da cidade de Viana do Castelo e habitarem uma casa com muitos anos e muitas recordações.

first the pros: After spending nearly 1 1/2 hours completely lost and trying to find the guesthouse ( Google and Apple maps fail miserably) The proprietor Nuno graciously brought his bicycle down to meet us and guided us to the house. he then spent at least 30 to 45 minutes orienting us to the apartment explaining in technical detail all its many quirks and idiosyncrasies. The apartment is large but is festooned with shabby, mismatched mid century modern furnishings and appliances (ie the passé retro 50s & 60s look). This may appeal to certain hipsters, but most older guests I believe prefer modern tasteful furnishings To our chagrin, the highly touted free breakfast was completely do it yourself with a loaf of stale cake, three raw eggs for two people, a couple of bananas, two small juices in a box… You get the picture. Of course you had to cook it yourself and proprietor kindly asked us to clean up the kitchen after we finished. So the question we asked each other was why bother? Most people on holiday prefer to leave drudgery of kitchen chores behind. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the entire unit was very quiet. We specifically asked for a quiet room prior to our arrival. A small space heater kept the living room area warm but it was quite cold in the bedroom. Apart from small retro Edison lights above the bed, there were no night lights in the apartment. It was a treacherous journey in the middle of the night to the bathroom!

A home away from home. Beautiful location, lovely interior design, a very friendly welcome from Nuno. The kitchen is very well equipped and the ‘DIY’-breakfast is very good for a guesthouse! Loved the living room with the record player. From the Praça Suite we had a nice view of the square and we were able to enjoy our breakfast at the balcony in the mornings.

Very stylish and the hosts are extremely nice and have wonderful suggestions to make the most out of your visit. The location could not be better, right at the center of town. My room had a very nice terrace.

Schon der Empfang war etwas ganz besonderes: man spürte sofort die außergewöhliche Gastfreundschaft und große Hingabe zum Gast. Die Philosophie des Hauses mit ihrer sehr individuellen Ausrichtung und die von Anfang an beinahe familiäre Atmosphäre machen den Aufenthalt im Guesthouse Dona Emília zu einem unvergesslichen Urlaubserlebnis. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen!

Lieu atypique et charmant, super accueil.

Dona Emília Guesthouse was absolutely perfect down to every last touch, and exceeded our expectations. The hosts were wonderful - so helpful and welcoming, and they gave us great tips of what to see and where to eat (including an authentic fishermans pub which you should try if you like seafood).The guesthouse has both the option of shared bathroom or private bathroom. We had a suite with private bathroom, which included the added touch of all natural soaps and shower gel (which we wish we had bought some to take home with us!). The room had high ceilings, lots of natural light, a small balcony, and plenty of room to relax in the room on a couch.The communal areas are what really adds the homely and relaxed feel. We sat in the large sunny lounge area and listened to records on the record player and had drinks.The breakfast is do it yourself, which we preferred as we were able to make our own eggs/fruit/coffee and use only what we needed. There has been a lot of care and attention put into this guesthouse, so if youre looking for a relaxed and homely feel, then this is a true gem.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Alles wurde perfekt erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir bekamen umfangreiche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt, Absolut empfehlenswert.

Lieu unique, ce n'est pas un hotel c'est une endroit ou l'on se retrouve chez soi. Pensé comme une maison où chacun s'imagine avoir vécu toujours là. On est bien chez Dona Emilia.

Arnaque totale: 47 € pour un dortoir. Maison d'hôtes pour bobo barbu ravi de la crèche, plus de 30 ans s'abstenir à moins d'aimer coucher dans un dortoir. Petit déjeuner à faire soi-même dans la cuisine commune.

Liebenswertes Guesthouse direkt im Zentrum. Hübsche Zimmer, eingerichtet im Mid-century Stil, zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Alles im allen ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!!!

Tolle Location in einem wunderschönen Gebäude direkt im historischen Stadtkern. Saubere Zimmer und wirklich sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Zutaten für Frühstück werden in der Küche bereitgestellt.
