Roland Vlaicu: We stayed here for a week in October and it was spectacular. Our studio apartment (featuring a full kitchen) was spacious albeit a bit rustic in style but the location, view and value more than make up for it. Overlooking Burgau beach with one of the best views in town, you get sun until it sets behind the cliffs, which means it gets toasty outside in the afternoons, but rooms have brand new patio doors with built-in shutters. Upstairs units have a full balcony with little shade while downstairs units have loggias that are essentially enclosed balconies with two large openings and probably provide more privacy as well. Parking just below the unit is a great feature (although it helps if you have a small car to navigate the somewhat tight corners) as is the pool overlooking the beach. There’s a restaurant (“O Navegador”) attached that also has the same great views. Walking down to the beach or the many restaurants in town is easy. Burgau is certainly more subdued and less polished but feels far more authentic than for example Salema or Luz which are nearby.

Encomendado em linha. Quando eu liguei para o hd para perguntar sobre a pickup na calçada, a pessoa não tinha idéia de como funcionava. Eu dirigi até o hd e tentei pegar alguém no retorno para pegar o abridor da porta da minha garagem, ele me devolveu o escorregão e me disse para procurar na ilha 23 e foi embora. Quando eu tentei arranjar alguém para me ajudar no retorno, ele não quis fazer contato visual. Finalmente tive que levantar a minha voz para a única rapariga e disse-lhe que precisava de sair... Ela fez parecer que ELA estava a fazer-me um favor.

Trabalhei por telefone com Richard G. para um planador/reciclador e um colchão e almofada de rainha. Ele era rápido, amigável e fácil de trabalhar durante um período difícil para a nossa família e as circunstâncias pandémicas actuais. Viemos aqui para encomendar várias janelas, o JIM foi tão prestável e paciente connosco. Ele realmente nos ensinou como medir e encomendar janelas. 3 semanas depois voltamos para pedir portas de pátio, apenas pedimos que ele cuidasse do nosso pedido, já que ele é muito conhecedor e tão amigável. Eu só queria agradecer ao Jim por ter sido tão prestativo.
