Roland Vlaicu: We stayed here for a week in October and it was spectacular. Our studio apartment (featuring a full kitchen) was spacious albeit a bit rustic in style but the location, view and value more than make up for it. Overlooking Burgau beach with one of the best views in town, you get sun until it sets behind the cliffs, which means it gets toasty outside in the afternoons, but rooms have brand new patio doors with built-in shutters. Upstairs units have a full balcony with little shade while downstairs units have loggias that are essentially enclosed balconies with two large openings and probably provide more privacy as well. Parking just below the unit is a great feature (although it helps if you have a small car to navigate the somewhat tight corners) as is the pool overlooking the beach. There’s a restaurant (“O Navegador”) attached that also has the same great views. Walking down to the beach or the many restaurants in town is easy. Burgau is certainly more subdued and less polished but feels far more authentic than for example Salema or Luz which are nearby.

Em vez de esperar até à véspera de Natal, vou mandá-lo entregar este fim-de-semana para quando me mudar para minha casa. Eu entrei e saí em menos de uma hora. Derek era muito conhecedor e tão respeitoso.

Por sugestão dos vendedores, substituí uma lavadora Whirlpool Cabrio de 3 anos, cuja transmissão tinha corrido mal, por um novo modelo Cabrio. O vendedor tinha me assegurado que a Whirlpool tinha corrigido as falhas de design que fizeram com que a primeira precisasse de reparo significativo... 2 anos depois estou olhando para uma segunda conta de $600 de reparo para outra transmissão ruim da Whirlpool. Liguei para Applianceland e me disseram que eles não me oferecerão nenhum alívio, depois de ter gasto milhares de dólares em aparelhos com eles, mas que eu tinha que lidar com a Whirlpool. Não vou fazer compras com eles novamente.
