Kleines feines Restaurant, man fährt schnell dran vorbei. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber das Essen ist gut. Man bekommt ein Menü mit Hauptgericht, Nachtisch, Getränk und Kaffee. Preis: seeehr gut. Das Restaurant ist recht einfach eingerichtet und auch hinsichtlich der Stimmung mal was ganz anderes. Man kann wohl auch draussen sitzen wenn es wärmer ist. Wenn ich in der Nähe bin werde ich sicherlich wieder vorbei sehen.

Very friendly. Consistently good food at very reasonable prices. All inclusive menu including bread, olives, main, dessert, 500mls wine and coffee between 9 and 17 euros depending on main course. Service with a smile.

Gostei bastante. O menu é completo e o preço é bem em conta. Qualidade da comida é boa. Recomendo ir com tempo pois demorou a ser servido o prato principal, mas pode significar que a comida seja feita no momento.

Jantei neste restaurante dois dias seguidos; no primeiro dia comi bacalhau à Brás e no segundo dia comi iscas de cebolada com batata frita.
A comida era sublime e o vinho tinto era óptimo!
Atendimento excelente e voltarei, de certeza!
(adorei a sobremesa que repeti no segundo dia: maravilhoso cheesecake, que está na foto; acompanhado do bolo de bolacha igualmente delicioso!)

Hebben hier 2 x gegeten ,het eten is heerlijk.
Niet teveel, goed op smaak, en voor 3 personen 37 euro zeg ik ,dit is zeer aan te bevelen. Hier komen wij zeker terug.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix très bon accueil dans un cadre agréable. En revanche il est fortement conseillé de réserver et l'amplitude horaire est courte : 12h00 /14h30 et 19h/ 21h30.

Verstecktes Lokal welches wir über Tripadvisor gefunden haben. Tischreservierung von Vorteil. Der Preis ist absolut fair, haben zu 2. etwa 20 Euro bezahlt für eine kleine Vprspeise (Oliven, Brot und Butter), Hauptspeise, Nachspeise, Kaffee und Getränke!

Lo primero que cierran a las diez y llegamos a las nueve y nos dijeron que no atendían más , si eres español no vayas el trato hacia nosotros no es bueno y hay miles más en Algarve así que descartarlo no merece le pena plantarse allí para ver el dedpresci

Overheerlijke maaltijd voor weinig geld. Voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht, dessert, halve liter wijn pp. en een tas koffie voor ca. 15 euro per persoon. De huiswijn is verrassend lekker en de bediening zeer vriendelijk!

Very very popular place for locals and visitors. Make sure you have a reservation or else you won't get seated. Food was basic but well cooked generally. Very reasonable prices.

The worst thing about this unflashy restaurant is that it's not around our neighbourhood back home. We've been there twice in one week and had our most delicious dinners for least money! Just had to leave an extra tip!

5 Sterne reichen da nicht aus! Ein tolles Konzept mit wechselnder Karte. Im Preis inbegriffen sind Getränke, Desert sowie Brot und Oliven zum Beginn. Hier wird mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gekocht! Und das macht's! Hingehen und geniessen! Mo. und Di. geschlossen!

I was very disappointed in our meal. The portions are very small and the steak was tough. We left the restaurant feeling hungry-- not good value for money. The tuna just came on a bed of vegetables and no potatoes, this is not a complete nutional meal!! Am sorry to say but I won't be returning nor will I ever recommend it. I also thought it was mean to charge 1 50 for a beer. Guys Brexit us on its way, this is no way how to look after the Brits, you need us here !!!!

Einmaliges Konzept , jeden Tag eine kleine Karte mit wechselnden Gerichten . Diese werden als Menü angeboten , der Wein und das Dessert ist inbegriffen. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub 2x dort Essen und hatten jedes Mal sensationelles Essen. Das Wildschwein habe ich noch nie so gut gegessen. Es wurde mit einer frischen Cranberrys Sauce serviert und war einfach nur köstlich.

Durch Zufall haben wir dieses Kleinod auf unserer Durchreise im April entdeckt.
Wir bestellten alle drei unterschiedliche Gerichte und waren unglaublich begeistert. Das Essen war schnell am Tisch und wirklich ausgesprochen lecker. Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben und der Chef ist stets in der Nähe, so dass man sich gut aufgehoben fühlt.
Am Ende stand ein unschlagbarer Preis auf der Rechnung.
Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable !
Un menu copieux à 9 euros comprenant entrée, plat, dessert, boisson, café et "le couvert"(pain, beurre, olives) gratuit alors que la plupart des restaurants du coin (je ne sais pas si c'est pareil dans tout le Portugal) nous facturent !
Terrasse agréable et service impeccable et rapide !
Restaurant au top, il va donc devenir notre "cantine" pendant notre séjour.

Schon bei der knappen Begrüßung „reservation?“ war es eigentlich schon klar, dass wir hier wohl nicht gerne empfangen werden, aber aufgrund der vielen freien Tische hofften wir dennoch auf ein spontanes Abendessen. Uns wurde dann jedoch geraten doch lieber woanders mit unserem im Kinderwagen schlafenden Kleinkind essen zu gehen. Haben wir dann auch 300m weiter und waren absolut begeistert.

Nice authentic Portuguese restaurant. Nothing pretentious and setting is down a "rampa" in a back yard. But food and drinks are good. Price is very reasonable with bread olives ,wine,dessert and coffee thrown in. Quality of ingredients is extremely good and the menu changes to whats fresh and available several times a week . Reserve a table to be sure of your night out.

Ich bewerte hiermit nur den Service...
(Im Juni 2019).
Wir hatten keine Chance auf einen Platz ohne Reservierung.
Leider wurde uns auch für keinen anderern Tag eine Reservierung angeboten!
Das fand ich sehr schade und unhöflich. Gastfreundschaft geht anders. Man gewinnt den Eindruck, dass man es hier nicht mehr nötig hat.

Simply the best in town. Good honest fare at extremely reasonable price; all inclusive; bread, butter, olives, wine, main course, desert, coffee, all for 9 euros!! No fancy nonsense, just simple Portuguese cooking. What more do you want?

Tucked away down a Porches backstreet, this restaurant, like Porches itself, delivers the flavours of an Algarve gone by. The food and wine are good and the prices entire reasonable; expect to pay ~10 Euros per head all in. do not be put off by the steep incline to the entrance (hence the name), go round to the next street to the alternative entrance for much easier access, even for people not so good on their feet.

It's been quite a while that I had such a delicious piece of fish.
My feyonce had the veal kebab which was grilled to perfection.

Seria excelente pois tem comida fantástica vinho local e esplanada confortável mas é muito limitado nos horários e é frustante chegar e voltar para trás porque a cozinha fechou ou não estão a dar vazão. .. é pena.
