Found this place by our travels from Spain to Lisbon. Very clean and well maintained local restaurant specializing in fish and seafood dishes from local produce.

La nourriture est bonne et copieuse mais un temps d'attente exagéré. Comptez 1 heure pour l'entrée et je vous dis pas le reste. Ça rouspéte dans la cuisine les serveurs se plaignent et les clients partent sans presque rien toucher à leur plat. A éviter pour les nerfs.....

I went there with friends on the only time that i visited to Faro. It is located just in the square of Sé, which was perfect cause we were visiting the old village. I have to say that the restaurant has great ambience, very well stated and elegant, but also an appearance typical of a portuguese restaurant. The menu was mainly portuguese, with also some spanish food, and all seemed really good and well cooked. i personally chose "lombo de porco" which was wonderful, it came with some "pear pure" that was just heavenly. Also with great desserts, a typical and local carob pie made my dreams come true. Next time i'll go to Faro i'll choose this again. Also a word of appreciation to the pleasant employees.

A barriga de atum é deliciosa ;) Para sobremesa recomendo a mousse de queijo.

It is clear their speciality is fish, and they do it very well! A hidden gem in the old town with pretty surroundings. The cod was delicious. Would come again.
