Terrible horror movie i lost my plane i have no choice after 9pm found this place very creepy with one bathroom to share with other guest from other room, very old , the electric wires all expose very unsafe to sleep with family and kids due the age of the building a lot of stair case lack of fire extinguisher and emergency exit i was happy to sleep only one night i higly recomend stay away from this place a list if you want a hunter experience go head

Nice place to stay in faro, very close to the center and free parking. Comfy place but don't expect a luxury ;) I could recommend it for everybody who want to stay in faro in honest price. View from the window is like a copy&paste from Portugal tourist folder

The owner is really nice, the place is a bit old fashioned but has a Portuguese feel to it. Clean, cheap and central location. Would definitely recommend for budget travel!

Well, I paid 18 € for a night as transit night to airport. The woman who met me was nice and room was absolutely good enough for this price. Shower and toilet ok, refrigerator, microvawe and watercooker in the hall. Cheapest alternative is around 10-15 for dorm or 40 for singelroom in hotell, when I was here. Up to you. For me it felt like a good choice.

Place was tidy but had no sleep as the bed was so hard it hurt to even turn and got woken up by someone staying there who was so drunk that they couldn't find there way in the door .one bathroom to share for about 6 rooms wouldn't stay again

eng und laut. Einrichtung renovierungsbedürftig. 50 Euro pro Nacht ohne Frühstück für Zimmer in diesem Zustand sind überteuert. Nichts für jemand, der nachts schlafen will.

Room quality ok, a little small. 55€ for double bed room a little to expensive in my eyes. Located near old town. Badly soundproofed. Marginal English spoken by householder.

An old room in an old family house for 60 euro? worth like 15euro. What was horrible is that the family was noisy all the time having a fight...they should respect their customers if they want to run a hotel! The bathroom was dirty and small. Only positive was the location, near a very good Portuguese restaurant around the corner.

For the price its a little pension in Faro, clean and people are nice.
Everything is local so its not a fanzy place but still enouth. The bedding is confortable, aircon in the room.

La habitacion era bastante antigua. Tenia un bidet dentro y muy mal olor casi constantemente. El hotel no es de lo mejor y el personal nos atendio a las corridas y sin entender mucho que pasaba. El baño estaba limpio.

Very bad place.
No one at the reception. We walked in and there was an old guy sitting there, sleeping on an armchair. He was snoring very loud and talking in his sleep (this was actually a very funny situation to be in). After a while a woman came who didn't speak a word of English. Very noisy place. Noise from the street and noise from the hotel (the walls are actually very thing). Our lock was not working properly. Avoid avoid avoid.

Cheap and good location in Faro town.
Although cheap and we shouldn't expect much, the place could do with a but of a refurbishment as the furnishings are quite old. Smells a bit damp and a bidet inside the room was a bit weird in my opinion.
Bed was OK.

Pensão simples, ótima localização. Preço justo. Por mais 5 euros, pude desfrutar de um quarto com banheiro privativo, ar condicionado e varanda. Há televisão e frigobar, no quarto. Nas áreas em comum há máquina de café, sala de estar, uma pequena biblioteca , microondas e demais comodidades. Tudo simples, porém muito limpo. E o melhor, a WiFi funcionou muitíssimo bem. Com certeza retornarei!

Lieu typiquement portugais les chambres sont d'un autre temps mets d'une propreté irréprochable et le personnel est aux petits soins.

Accueil agréable, propreté exemplaire ! Literie agréable. Petit bémol pour le bruit à pas d'heure des personnes qui passent dans la rue ou qui logent à la Résidence Dandy !

Une chambre sans fenêtre qui donne sur la réception... un monsieur obèse qui ronfle toute la nuit devant la porte de la chambre... bref rien de positif pour un prix exorbitant

Odd little place! Not a friendly chap on reception and took ages to get room keys. Old-fashioned decor. However it was cheap and the room was clean & comfy enough. Bathroom in need of a refurb but again, clean enough. No complaints for the price.

Horrivel, banheiro sem chuveiro com uma ducha móvel que tinha que ser segurada com uma mão e se banhar com a outra, minibox cercado de cortina que molhava todo o chão (decpicionantel) deveria ser interditado para reforma.

Хм, условия не выдерживают ни какой критики...... Апофеозом был туалет расположенный рядом с железной кроватью!!!!! Остановиться можно разве что бы отдохнуть и уехать по - дальше от этого ужаса.......

En el comienzo parecía un lugar muy acogedor al ser una casa antigua pero luego simplemente se transformó en una casa de locos. Las dos señoras que atienden (muy nerviosas) nos acusaron varias veces de "romper" la PC, también nos apuraron para realizar el check-out cuando aún nos restaba 1 hora. Nos quedamos 3 días, al tercer día mí amigo perdió la cámara, no solo no se hicieron cargo sino que nos acusaron de robar un pendrive y finalmente, culminando todo, el señor nos quiso golpear y nos echo como perros. La cámara de fotos nunca apareció. Si quieren pasar una noche está bien, pero es a su propio riesgo.
Un lugar terrible, muy poco serios, muy mal trato de parte de las personas que lo llevan, una casa de locos.

Although not a four star hotel I give them 4 stars for hospitality. I stayed overnight before catching an early flight to Faro. The lady who runs the guest house helped me out a lot when she contacted the people in room 21 who she knew would leave around the same hour as me. They were young German couple who had a car and offered to take me with them. Both the guests and guest owner were nice so I'm happy.

Not recommended. Absolutely need renovation!
Old, unclear boarding house spread over two houses with many aisles, stairs and old carpet floors. Everywhere kitsch and junk and special drinks.Overall, very dirty and messed up. Molded room !!!
Staff with bad mood.
They complained that it was only a booking for one night.
Perhaps for this reason I got the worst room assigned?
A windowless room with mold!
The room was on the ground floor but looked like a basement / laundry room (see photos).

Cheap but didn't seem very secure and the staff weren't very friendly. Get location and good value for money if all you're doing is sleeping here like we did.

A hospedagem é extremamente agradável, muito limpa, de excelente localização, perto de tudo. Tanto o proprietário Sr Anibal, quanto a funcionária Joana foram extremamente educados e atenciosos conosco. Eu recomendo este residencial a todos, é simples, mais vale a pena conhecer e desfrutar.

Nice place in Faro. It's a huge home that's converted into a hotel/guesthouse. Has micro, fridge, etc so pretty convenient. I liked it overall.

Although from external appearance you wouldn't expect this to be the best place in town to stay and the low price could be off putting I'm probably 'shooting myself in the foot' here.... Next time I want to book everybody will want to stay here. I hope there will still be room for me! I couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. The staff are pleasant, very helpful but non obtrusive, they insisted on cleaning your room every day. Although not specifically designed for a hotel the Residence Dandy lacked nothing except gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar & restaurant.... Just how I like it, definitely homely and comfortable with so many small extra amenities that made it very special! I'll definitely be staying here again! A most enjoyable stay.... Thank you 'Dandy'!!!!

This is a lovely family run guesthouse. They make you feel comfortable and the room is cozy with everything you need. It is in a great location with easy walking access to the main attractions. There is parking nearby which is free during the evening/night. The WiFi is stable. The only problem is that you can hear other guests and the busy street outside.

In this budget hotel you really feel you are staying in Faro. We had breakfast and lunch at a local cafe 2 min from the hotel. We was the only tourists in the cafe, thus we got good contact with locals. The lady who run the cafe was a very charming and friendly lady.
If you want to experience the real Faro this is the place to stay.

Cheap and budget hotel in a good location. Condition is a bit old but still acceptable. Cost about 10-12 euro by taxi from the airport. Fierce looking owner is actually a very nice and helpful man. If you need anything just ask! He has been most helpful during our stay. If you need a taxi to get to the airport, he will help you to arrange.

Stayed for 1 night only. Easy to find, located near the city center (just down the road).
Owner (?) did say not much more then "yes, hmm, pay now, ok", a bit grumpy, but was very helpfull to call a taxi for the morning of our departure.
