Philip Rankin: It's a nice villa in a lovely area. And private. Lots of space. Clean. But there are a few downsides. The upstairs beds are very hard. Could do with having toppers on them. The is a smell from the drain when you let the bath water go. Could do with a dryer for the utility room. Pool could do with heating. There are a few jobs that need doing around the villa. Possibly an update and paint.

A Google User: Villa Sunny is located in a quiet residential area. It's fairly clean, cleaners also visited during our stay. However, when we arrived, big dirty marks were dropped across the pool area. When the cleaner and pool cleaner visited, this was not washed away so stayed like this all week. The pictures on Solmar website do not reflect the reality of this villa. This villa has so much potential but is far from the luxury villa it's sold as. The outside table was non existent- although we did find it broken in the corner of the garden (see pic). Downstairs in the garage is a dark and dingey pool table room with a further dark bedroom off this. If 8 people were staying, the people who pulled the short straw would be sleeping down here! As we were a party of three we didn't go downstairs. Which was a shame because we would have enjoyed a game of pool but it was smelly and damp in the garage.
The WiFi is pretty awful, bad signal which comes and goes. As we have a business at home, we needed the WiFi but it was unreliable. We did speak to Solmar about this issue and someone visited to reset the router but it didn't make any difference.
As the WiFi was unreliable, it was difficult to get the radio or music online. The TV has very limited English channels and the old fashioned radio has a broken ariel which meant that we struggled to get music around the pool.
The final touches to this villa could have been to a much higher standard. Most of the shower heads leaked water from the top and were unusable. So we just used the one shower over the bath downstairs. In addition, lightblubs were out throughout the villa which made the place even darker. I feel these things should be checked when you're spending a lot of money on a holiday.
Although pool towels were dropped off after asking, pool towels are not included in the rental which wasn't clear when we made the booking. There is 8 sunbeds but only 5 or 6 blue covers for these beds. I presume the others have flown away in the wind, as its quite windy as the Villa is high up.
We wish we'd read a review with this information in it and we might have considered booking somewhere else. Nevertheless, the sun was out and we enjoyed visiting Portugal overall. Probably would not book this villa again.

Sonny no departamento de pintura estava AMAZENDO. Eu precisava de uma cor compatível com uma cor que eu já tinha, mas a mais próxima era muito diferente da que eu precisava. Outro funcionário me disse que não havia nada que ela pudesse fazer e foi só isso. Fiquei extremamente desapontado e prestes a sair quando o Sonny chegou e disse para eu dar uma olhada. ELE AJUSTOU LITERALMENTE A TINTA À TONALIDADE EXATA QUE PRECISÁVAMOS. Estou muito agradecida. Ele é realmente um empregado que está lá por mais do que apenas um cheque de pagamento.

Eu entrei e quase toda a gente tinha lá a cabeça no telefone! Fui até o departamento de informática e 3 funcionários estavam de pé atrás da escrivaninha, em cima do telefone pessoal, ninguém se preocupou em dizer olá ou perguntou se eu precisava de alguma ajuda. Eu então continuei a esperar na fila para fazer uma pergunta e outro funcionário foi até o registro e me disse que eu teria que esperar mais 10 minutos antes que eu fosse ajudado depois de ficar na seção de computadores e funcionários andando para frente e para trás. Eu não vou voltar a este horrível serviço de atendimento ao cliente da Best Buy.
