Fantastic apartment within small complex of 13. Peaceful and very close to pool. Although we had no children with us I could see it would be ideal as complex enclosed and children could easily be seen at the pool from the apartments. Outdoor space to relax fully equipped with recliners and table and chairs. Eating out places within walking distance and small beach 1 mile away...steep climb back up though. Ideally a car would be useful to carry food / bottled water from shop and visit other small beautiful beaches or be prepared to get a taxi.Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Spacious villa in a quiet area of Sesmarias, a couple of nice bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. My only gripe is the pool felt cold enough for a polar bear to call it home.

The villa was absolutely wonderful, everything you need for a family break, beautifully clean, lovely pool area and gardens. Walking distance to the supermarket, beach and some fabulous restaurants. All of the employees were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be looking to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely place. We didnt want to leave. A real home from home. Friendly staff. Peaceful. Much better than we expected. Lots of car parking outside your front door.We will be back.

Staying in Villa Joinal is nothing but pleasure, it's quiet and peaceful but also near stores, restaurants and beaches. Service is very pleasant and helpful, very diligent in cleaning rooms and whole facility

These villas are rated three star but we felt that they were worth more. They had cleaners in every other day which for self catering is very rare in my experience. The office which was on the complex, staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent property

Gorgeous little place. Villas are very private even though you're next to other people. Own private terrace area with loungers.
We expected the pool to be busy as all the villas were full but it was really quiet and peaceful.
Very clean and the staff were friendly and really helpful.
Spar is about a 15 minute walk but if you want the basics there is a small shop about a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction next to an Irish Pub.
There is an ATM at the spar but again there is a closer one at the Irish Pub (the new dubliner).
The beach is only 15 minutes away and it's really quiet and peaceful, you can hire beds for 15 euros which reduces to 10 euros after 1pm. Also there is a little restaurant which over looks the beach. Beautiful setting.

Veldig gode apartmanger (130 m²), med full utstyr, bassenger til småe og litt større. Personalet er hyggelig å snakker flere språk, blant annet engelsk og tysk. Anbefales for småbarn familier.

This is the second time we have stayed Villas Joinal and wouldnt hesitate about staying in the future, its in a quiet area 10 minute walk from a nice wee beach, 5 minutes away from bus stop that takes you into Albufeira for the night life. The accomadation is clean and spacious and your own garden area with sunbeds and a big enough pool for a swim.

Villas amplias con mobiliario anticuado. La lavadora y la vitroceramica debian de ser de los años 80. Habia hormigas detro de la casa. Los exteriores es lo mejor de este complejo por eso le pongo 4 estrellas. Sin duda volvere.

For a relaxing holiday that feels like home from home this place is perfect. Villas cleaned 5 days per week. Fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 full bathrooms. Sure conditioning in both bedrooms. Pools are lovely. There is even a barbecue in the patio area.
Supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance - 5 or 10 minutes. Beach about 15 minutes walk (with young children). We took taxis to Algarve shopping centre and also to Pescadores beach for around 12 euros each way for MPV (slightly more expensive than regular 5 seater). Worked out cheaper for us not to hire a car for the week.

Grande villa avec 2 salles de bains, cuisine équipée, 2 grandes chambres avec climatisationSalon donnant sur un espace exterieur fermé avec transats et table pour mangerPiscine très grande et suffisante pour tous les logements avec pataugeoire pour les enfants ! Pret de lit bébé et chaises hautes sur demandeMénage fait 5 fois par semaine (léger, il faut faire de son coté tout de meme... ) et ne pas regarder les détails comme les meubles et la robinetterie des salles de bains et douches qui sont anciens.

Quiet location,perfect for relaxation and getting away from it all. Would advise car hire to get about. But overall we had a brilliant 2weeks staying in our wee villa definitely will be back. Also the staff/cleaners were all excellent and helped every way they could.

Spacious home from home, impressive range of furnishings and equipment, very comfortable. Little extras like parasol for beach, coffee filter machine, lovely crockery, plentiful cutlery, bbq built out back etc would make this accommodation perfect for families or two couples.

Well presented apartment with everything we required.Great Kitchen facilities as we do most cooking at home.The complex is very small which is great and due to the time of year there were only a couple of other apartments occupied.Decent sized swimming pool directly out of the apartment.Quiet surroundings but easy to get around from by foot or by fairly inexpensive taxi.Very good wi-fi at all times.

Couple. 1 semaine.Début de saison donc quelques légers dysfonctionnements à gérer (machine à laver, ampoule grillée)Etablissement de bonne tenue avec ménage quotidien, terrasse ensoleillée, balcon, piscine non chauffée à 20 min à pieds de la plage de Galé.Calme. Literie un peu dure. 2 chambres. 2 sdb. Très bon Rapport qualité Prix.(Climatiseur et radiateur élect)Bémol : démarche de récupération de la clef pas évidente en arrivée tardive.Parle Anglais et quelques mots de français.5 ème fois en AlgarveJe recommande +++

Casas muy bien equipadas y a poco distancia andando de varias pequeñas playas y a 20 min de la playa de Gale Muchos restaurantes en la zona.Pequeña tienda cerca muy bien equipada y con buenos precios Recomiendo el supermercado Apolonia a 15 minutos para comprar productos de calidad

Our first family holiday abroad and I have to say that we all loved this place. A very basic accommodation in terms of decor, furnishings and kitchen facilities but there's something really lovely about getting back to basics and enjoying each others company rather than 'stuff'.
The villas were kept clean and each had a lovely little garden area which opened out onto the pool. Each guest had their own sun bed, the pool was quiet and relaxing and just a couple of steps from our villa so it was easy to pop back to the fridge for ice creams and drinks etc..
There was also space available to park our hire car just outside the villa.
If I ever ask the kids where they'd like to go back to, it's here.
I'm not sure how you'd get on without a hire car as the beach is a quite a walk away but it's always our preference to hire a car and explore as much as possible so this didn't bother us at all.

Private Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Großes Wohnzimmer mit Patio, Fernseher und Blick auf den Gemeinschafts-Pool. Küche ausreichend groß. Toilette und Dusche, in 1.Etage ebenfalls. Zwei Schlafzimmer und Balkon. Klimaanlagen. Zwei Supermärkte und verschiedene Restaurants bzw. Bars in der Nähe. Fünf schöne und abwechslungsreiche Strände etwa 1 - 2 km entfernt. Bäuerliche Umgebung im Dorf Sesmarias, sehr ruhig, nicht überlaufen. Nach Albufeira Fußweg von 1,5 Stunden.

Good size accommodation, nice grounds and great swimming pool area, good for families but as with all properties in this area you really need a car to make the most of the region and the local beaches etc.Note to the management - please ensure the cleaners double lock the front door after cleaning the apartment, other than that the accommodation has nice and secure doors and shutters.

First day there 200 Euro was stolen from purse in room when we went out for walk in afternoon room was locked up we reported to reception but she wasnt interested.Wasnt cleaned very well the rooms cleans took less than 2 minutes to complete.Last day when we needed check out was no where leave suit cases cuz we didnt need set off airport until 1.30 pm we ask reception she said her day off would have walk up to bar nearby and wait no help at all when 2 of our travellers were disabled.Probably worse place ive never stayed

The accommodation was fantastic, and if anything better than I expected.Its clean, not remotely over crowded (the outside pool area is generous for the number of guests) and a pleasant peaceful environment.My only criticism is that it is more isolated than expected. That said, taxis are extremely cheap, and there are a few places within walking distance.The wider area of Albufeira has so many options and is ideal for young families.

Sehr schöne Anlage, alles sauber und man kann wirklich in Ruhe am Pool entspannen.Alles super gepflegt. Ruhige Lage mit einem Super Restaurant in der Nähe. Der schöne Gala Strand befindet sich ebenfalls in der Nähe. Gerne wieder.

Das Ferienhäuschen mit eigenem Steingrill auf der Terasse/Garten ist für Leute die ihren Urlaub ohne "Kleiderordnung in Speisesaal oder Essenszeiten" verbringen wollen ideal. Der Pool direkt vor der Zimmertüre,sodass man am Morgen schon ins kühle Nass hüpfen kann ist spitze. Das Reinigungspersonal sehr bemüht (säubern jeden Tag den Steingrill) und die Hausherrin ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend (spricht auch ein wenig deutsch für diejenigen die sich mit Händen und Füßen verständigen müssen ;-) ) Der Parkplatz für das Mietauto ist direkt vor der Haustüre,sodass man die schweren Einkäufe nicht weit tragen muss. Die Küche war ganz neu und das Geschirr+Besteck war sehr sauber. Aufpassen muss man sich allerdings mit den Ameisen. Also keine offenen Lebensmittel rumstehen lassen! Ich kann diese Reihenhäuschenanlage nur weiterempfehlen und werde bestimmt wieder dorthin fahren!!

Wir waren 11 Tage im Villas Joinal und wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen und gepflegt. Gute Restaurants sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Strand ist ca 800 m entfernt.

Great for families, full kitchen with loads of cups, plates, pans etc. Baby gates on the bottom and top of stairs, daily cleaning, good private patio, play area for the kids, double bed in the master room and twin beds In the second room and free baby cot.

A nice break, good pool, no pool bar, villa good size, furniture was a little old fashioned. BBQ on patio, but no tools for BBQ! Had lots of plates, cutlery etc. The apartment was clean.
