We ate on a quiet mid week nights. The staff were great - very chatty and helpful. They know their local food and wine and the service is some of the best in town. To get there you need to find it first ... but keep an eye from the beach or go down the street near the Capella de Nosa towards the sea. Great views as you eat.

Jony's is one of the best restaurant's in the Algarve.
Jony is a wonderfull character and a top class chef.
His staff are lovely, being very courteous , helpfull and jolly.
The view from his glass fronted restaurant overlooking a 180 degree panoramic vista is breathtaking.
I invariably order steak which is so tender it nearly melts in the mouth.
My wife and I, and also at times my two daughters and their husbands often visit here when we can.
When Jony has the time in between his cooking he has a laugh with you.
He is one of my favourite characters and chef's on the globe.
Please don't all go at once as I want a table too.

Muy buenas vistas , trato muy agradable , servicio rápido y buen producto , el propietario divertido y muy amable, les regaló unos helados a los niños del postre. Además la terraza estaba llena y pudimos comer con el perro dentro. Si volvemos repetiremos sin duda.

Bom atendimento. Vista direta p praia. Dona restaurante muito simpatica q ajuda na coodenaçao do restaurante. Bons pratos principalmente peixe e marisco. Requintado mas nao em excesso. Zona exterior onde pode comer no fim refeiçao café sobremesa e fumar. Empregados simpáticos. Boa relaçao qualidade preço.

El mejor restaurante de todo Portugal. La comida es exquisita y es un placer degustarla en el entorno donde se ubica. Las vistas a la playa son espectaculares.
Pero lo mejor del restaurante son los trabajadores, todos super amables y atentos, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El encargado Jony es majisimoo, así como Monica y Baiia.
Repetiremos!

Excelente servicio y personal muy amable. La comida deliciosa, sobre todo la cataplana. El lugar perfecto con vistas al mar. La relación calidad-precio muy buena.

Nous sommes allés 2 fois au mois d'Août dans ce restau le soir, et tout était parfait le cadre, la gentillesse des serveurs et les poissons grillés sont excellents... nous y retourneront l'année prochaine. Obrigado

Un service très soigné avec une nourriture excellente, sans parler du cadre qui est juste magnifique. Allez-y si vous êtes dans la région et profitez de manger sur la terrasse avec la vue sur la mer. Merci pour ce super moment.

One of Armação’s hidden treasures. Lovely food prepared by a lovely man. The mixed meat kebabs with prawns are the best in town.

I'd love to rate this restaurant higher but unfortunately I won't. The location is wonderful with lovely ocean view. Felt like the only one person running around was the owner, he should consider swapping the staff as they can't even take the order correctly and pass it on to the kitchen. Our order was messed up, we were given different sides to what we ordered. The food was ok, but there was way too much parsley in the salad and on the fish. The place is a bit overpriced, purely because of the location.

We felt at home, no better place in ALL of Portugal to have dinner, beautiful view, best food, and most of all you will feel at home with Jony, amazing service! Our favorite place to eat on our honeymoon!!!

If you don't mind generous portions, friendly staff and some of the best views in Armacao Dr Pera go to Jony's......if you do mind go anyway!
If you do decide to dine here I highly recommend the octopus!

Wonderful view if you can get one of the outdoor tables facing the beach. Food is delicious too! On the pricier side for the area, but well worth it.

Há 19 anos que aqui venho com a família. Desde o tempo do Jony pai até hoje com o filho Cabé com quem criámos um boa relação de amizade. Parabéns ao Cabé e á mãe Mariazinha.❤

Very good restaurant. Carlos the waiter very nice guy. Food and wine were excellent. Had a really enjoyable evening. Prices are higher than other restaurants around, closer to home prices. The view from the restaurant is great as can been seen in the photo. Would recommend.

Magnifique vue mais c'est tout ce qu'il y a de positif
Sangria infecte, coupée au jus d'orange chimique (heureusement remplacée gracieusement par une bouteille de Vinho Verde)
Plat plus que moyen (crevette au curry) : sauce pas bonne, crevettes pas fraîches avec du sable dedans
Un verre de Porto nous sera offert en digestif

The view was the best item of the evening. My wife squid was presented half cook, more raw than cook. My golden bream was close the the raw side, just barely cooked, and no seasoning on either dish. In the end the,y attempted to over charge 12 Euros.
The place is a definable miss.
