Prachtig appartement met een mooi uitzicht op zee. Mooie en rustige locatie. Fijn zwembad en een rijk uitgeruste gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Een fantastische plaats waar we zeker nog eens terug komen!

Beautiful place to stay with large groups. We enjoyed the views, the pool and communal area which was ideal for a big barbecue. It’s walking distance to the most beautiful cliffs!

37 family members stayed in 11 apartments at Vale a Pena in July 2019 for a reunion, travelling from USA and England. The complex was spacious, clean and comfortable. Providing all the amenities required for a self catering holiday. The lovely outside communal area enabled us to come together in the evenings, whilst still having privacy of own apartments. The apartments are large and modern, nice big terraces and very comfortable. Maids on site every day were friendly and helpful. Harm the complex manager was very helpful. Amarante Villas offer first class customer service from initial booking to check out. We could not have chosen a better venue and would certainly return if we have future reunions. Carvoeiro main square is a 25 min walk, also excellent local taxis - approx €5. Highly recommend Vale a Pena - especially if you need accommodation for a large group.
