Uma praia muito pequena com rochas em perigo de derrocadas

Bonito recanto, praia sossegada e boa para procurar pequenas pedras. Bom acesso de escadaria, não acessível a pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. Não ideal para banhos mas à esquerda da praia forma-se uma pequena piscina natural muito acolhedora e ótima para crianças.

Beautiful, photogenic colourful natural cliffs fall into transparent azure seas. Lots of books and crannies for the child explorers. Not accessible to many, so usually not oversubscribed! Nice looking restaurant at the summit frequented by locals (a good indicator here as competition is rife)

Hidden "beach" aside the center of the city. Check out the tide before you go there. It's hardly possible to lie in the sand except of staying on a small plateau. Protected from wind so it's really warm there.

Silent at morning, calm place. Every rock is a house for life, just look closer. Ocean in the air, pretty fresh. Good place to start your day.

Amazing place to visit in carvoeiro the Algarve portugal the town actually goes right down onto the beach lovely walks both side of beach with a board walk along the cliffs with cave formations to explore great food in the local cafes and restaurants well worth a visit

Una spiaggia spettacolare da cui parte un percorso di trekking lungo 6 km che da sopra la scogliera consente la vista su faraglioni, coste rocciose e baie nascoste con panorami da lasciare senza fiato..

Ontzettend mooi strand. Nu in deze tijd geen. Enkele toerist, dus als het mooi weer is voel je je echt alleen op dit mooie stukje paradijs. De rotsen en cliffs zijn hoog en omringen je als je op het strand staat. Ik denk niet dat je er echt kan zwemmen aangezien en grote ruige rotsen uit het ondiepe steken.

Praia do Paraiso, como o nome diz é mesmo um paraíso tal como algumas outras prais da região mas esta o local lhe deu o nome, esta prai tem uma vista deslumbrante que começa logo cá em cima, antes de começar a descida vemo-nos maravilhados com um escadaria murada e toda pintada de branco que a faz destacar de toda a envolvência de arbustos existentes no local, as curvas suaves da sua configuração ajuda e convida a sua descida sem nos fazer lembrar que temos que voltar para cima e subir aaueles numeroso degraus.
Lá em baixo ficamos pasmados com a cor da água e tão transparente que é, com pouca areia, esta está rodeada de escarpas cheias de beleza a condizer com tudo o resto.

Not so crowded compared to Praia de Carvoeiro but not a good beach to take a swim. When the tide is lowering (we were there from 5 to 6 p.m) you can see a lot of crabs, sea plants, fishes, anemones.. Lovers of nature and sea fauna and flora you sure will have a good time there !

Beautiful secret beach within a secluded cove. The beach is open during the morning when the tide is down but will get washed out when the tide comes in.
Great to visit at both times and really cool place to visit. The pictures below are at the same angle but different times. Expect little visitors so you’ll have more space to spread out!

Great place for eating on a budget but still have great tasting bifana and coffee. We had 2 egg, ham and cheese rolls, 2 coffees and 3 bolo do arroz for under 9 euros.

Incredibly over crowded, we tried to get there early to beat the crowds (9am ish from memory) but there was only space for our things on rocks by then, people kept flooding in constantly so we left. Way more overcrowded than es trenc.

La vimos porque hicimos antes una excursión en barco por las grutas maravillosas. A la vuelta de la excursión, nos fuimos en coche en busca de las playas y calitas que vimos. Son espectaculares cualquiera de ellas.

Well hidden beach. Spectacular views. It's a bit rocky and small but if you're looking for a quiet beach, then this is always an option. There are quite a few stairs going down to the beach. My wife was pregnant at the time so we had to make a few stops when going back up to the top ☺️

Heel mooi strandje dat we dachten te kunnen bereiken via de mooie, lange, maar slecht onderhouden trappen. De leuningen zitten los en helaas is het onderste gedeelte weggeslagen en een sprong van zo’n 15 m. leek ons niet verantwoord, laat staan de terugtocht. Prachtig uitzicht, leuk restaurant boven aan het begin van de trappen.

Via een lange trap die op de parking vertrekt bereik je het kleine strandje. Maar opgelet bij hoog tij slagen de golven hier tegen de rotsen!

Esta praia, tem aquilo que penso eu qualquer pessoa gosta... Sossego, pequena, e no fundo da falésia, com a vantagem de ter uma escadaria até a praia. Tem também alguns contras... Quando a maré enche, pouco espaço sobra para quem lá está, além que é preciso ter cuidado com os ouriços do mar que podem causar alguns danos nos pés!! Outra das dificuldades é entrar na água, pois se for lado esquerdo da praia temos os ouriços, do lado direito temos algumas rochas que escorregam e que torna a entrada na água um pouco difícil... Mas no final penso que compensa todo o sacrifício!! Tem beleza natural... Não esquecer que no regresso, quando olhamos para a escadaria, perdemos logo a vontade de regressar, pois são muitos degraus a ter que subir a pique, mas também uma coisa é certa, quando chegamos cá acima a vontade de olhar de novo para a praia, da-nos vontade de regressar... Coisas da natureza!!

Praia pequena, porém linda. Não muito longe de centro do Carvoeiro. Ótima tanto para apanhar sol como por mergulhos e pesca desportiva. É uma das minhas preferidas.

Carvoeiro was our first location when we visited 30 years ago the Algarve and we chose an house just in front of Praia do Paraiso, a"few steps" to go down and to come up but it was worth, at the end of the stairs there it is the beach with its rocks, last week we were visiting the Algarve and we stopped in Carvoeiro just to see the house and the beach.

What a stunning beach! Small and lots of steps to get down to it but usually fairly quiet. Worth visiting for the view and tranquility but I wouldn't advise swimming here - looks fairly dangerous. Also be careful not to get caught out by tide.

La playa es preciosa pero hay que ir temprano para coger sitio ya que se llena de mucha gente y la playa es muy pequeña. El agua es turquesa y hay rocas para hacer snorkel. Es honda y es ideal para bajar y darte un baño. La puesta de sol allí es muy bonita.

TINY INTIMATE BEACH. LESS CROWDED THAN PRAIA DO CARVOEIRO, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SOME PRIVACY, PRAIA DO PARADISO IS YOUR PARADISE! CORNERED BY ROCKS, THE BEACH CAN BE REDUCED TO A FEW METERS WHEN THE TIDE IS HIGH. RELATIVELY EASY ACCESS THROUGH A LONG STAIRWAY.

Sehr gemütlich und ruhig, allerdings steigt die Flut bis nach ganz oben, daher sollte man vorher nachsehen, wann die Flutzeiten sind.
