10 km buiten het feestgedruis van Albufeira, golfbaan ook stuk verder! Netjes resort, mooi uitzicht over de velden, leuk zwembad. Helaas was het restaurant nog niet klaar dat was jammer maar komt vast wel in orde. Enige echte minpunt, vreselijke bedden. Slecht dunne veren matrasje waar niemand van ons lekker op heeft gelegen. Huisje verder van alle gemakken voorzien en keurig netjes onderhouden.

A very nice place to stay. The price for our 1 bedroom apartment was brilliant, there could be some maintenance improved, the showerhead was loose and the bed was really squeaky but it is well located and has plenty of facilities. I would stay again.

Quiet, clean, safe. Arrived no staff member to meet us, apartment was set up for 5 people not 6 as paid for, taxi recommended by reception we realised near the end of our holiday was much more expensive than one we found ourselves.

Yo voy todos los años mas de una vez con mi familia a este lugar y nos encanta.Glenridge es un sitio estupendo para pasar tus vacaciones y desconectar de tu rutina, es un lugar con mucho encanto equipado con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones estupendas. La zona de la piscina esta genial, es un lugar con zona verde el cual esta estupendamente cuidado y no le falta el mas minimo detalle. Tiene un pequeño parque con columpios y resbaladera para los mas pequeño. Los apartamentos estan totalmente equipados y tienen su plaza de aparcamiento justamente al lado, lo cual te permite descargar el coche sin necesidad de andar caminos largos. Y por ultimo y no menos importante hablar de los empleados, son todos una auténtica maravilla, empezando por los empleados de recepción que siempre estan dispuesto ayudar en cualquier problema que tengas, continuando por las limpiadoras que a parte de hacer su trabajo bien son unas estupendas personas y acabando por el personal de mantenimiento que mejor no puede hacer su trabajado. Dicho esto y por si lo leeis un saludo enorme a Debora de recepción, a Ana de limpieza y a Filipe de mantenimiento. Muchas gracias por hacer nuestra estancia siempre tan amena.

The property is a fairly new contemporary condo with pool, restaurant and some other facilities. It is located away from the town center and not within walking distance to the beach. There is a nice, but crowded pool and a fitness center that is not used (locked). We were required to pay an unexpected extra charge at check in. We had reservations for 3 adults and 1 child and were told that we needed to pay an additional 20 Euros per night for the third adult. We were told that it was for an additional bed that we did not need, did not want and did not use. Not a good start. I do not recommend this property due to this surprise charge. Additionally, the Family Friendly Facilities listed Laundry Facilities. The staff said that there are no laundry facilities on the property but we could drive somewhere to find a laundry. The room runs out of hot water fairly quickly.

El trato con el recepcionista deja mucho que desear, no entiende español y no nos explico ni aconsejó nada, el baño hace un olor horrible , pedí habitación para 4 personas y me dieron una habitación con 2 camas individuales y un sofá cama que es horrible y encima lo más incómodo que he probado, ni los niños querían dormir en el , una estancia muy incómoda. No volverémos. También muchísimos mosquitos y arañas

Excelente lugar de vacaciones con la familia, muy tranquilo, todo muy cuidado y limpio, cerca de la playa de Galé que es espectacular, lo recomiendo por la relación calidad / precio. Solo forma constructiva pediría cambiar los colchones de los sofás cama.

Nous avions pris un appartement de 6 personnes. 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Les couchages dans le salon sont vraiment très très inconfortables. Il n'est pas possible se dormir dessus. Les canapés ne sont pas adaptés nous avons passé de très mauvaises nuits. Le personnel de réception pas du tout agréable et qui ne facilite pas l'arrivée. On nous a imposé de laisser les véhicules dehors meme pour rentrer les bagages alors qu'il y avait de la place partout à l'intérieur. Un bravo aux personnes de l'entretien très agréable et efficace.

Very peacefull and cosy. Room and conditions were very good and it was clean. The fact that you are in a house in a small condominium-like accomodation, gives more freedom for the kids to play (and you just watch the kids from your kitchen or living room). The only downsides was sofa-bed (not a very good bed and relatively small, just for kids, we decided to set it up in the floor instead) and that the reception closed early on the low season, but they were very friendly at the reception and things got worked out.

The apartment complex is very nice, clean and well maintained. The apartments are even cleaned daily. They offer enough space for families and are comfortably furnished with fully equipped kitchen . The staff is very friendly and takes care of the guests. The beach can be reached by walking within 20 minutes. Each apartment has its own parking space. The negative aspect ist that the WiFi is only working near the swimming pool. We were there in May 2018 and really enjoyed it. Glenridge Albufeira is absolutely recommendable. The quality/price is very good.

Lovely resort. Was quiet when we visited due to the time of year. Take care regarding flight times. We arrived at the resort at 2am and couldn't get in. We had to call the emergency number and a girl came out to let us in.

Amei! Os funcionários são receptivos e atenciosos, limpeza impecável, T2 é grande, confortável. O ponto negativo é a TV que é minúscula e o Wifi que não pega no apt.

Nous avons trouvé cette adresse par hasard en arrivant dans ce village. Séjour en famille (2 adultes/2 enfants) Extérieur magnifique (piscine, jardin, et jeux pour enfants), accueil très sympathique et le monsieur très serviable. Appartement bien équipé, propre. Rapport qualité/prix irréprochable. Attention aux douches trop longues ... le ballon n'est pas illimité en eau chaude ! Très bonne adresse !

Best apartment experience of recent years. Houses are fully renewed, with lots of space and private covered parking near apartment. All o them have max 50 meters till the swimming pool, children playground and coffee/wine bar. All zero level apartments have small private terrace with small garden, green grass whole year. Kitchen was fully equipped, including dish washer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stick mixer etc. Probably no need to mention Algarve weather, with summer temperatures till the end of September and much longer days than most of Europe.

We had a whole villa to ourselves (2 people), 5 nights. 1-bedroom (the staff locked the 2nd bedroom - we didnt need it, plus it would be more money), very spacious dining area and living room, again spacious bathroom with bathtub and bidet, plus equipped kitchen, nice little patio outside of sliding door. Absolutely no complaints - maybe just wifi that was very weak in our place, had to go to the hotels lobby for good signal. Beach Gale is 10 mins walking, supermarket Apolonia is on the way. We had a car and made trips to Benagil Beach and the famous cave, Marinha Beach, St. Rafael and Arrifes Beach (all gorgeous beaches). Weather in mid-September was great - sunny every day, about 27C, low humidity ....so fresh breeze - although the temp of the sea was a cold 22.5C. Id still spend a good 1/2 hour swimming daily. For nightlife, restaurants you have to go the centre of Albufeira, which is about 10-15 mins drive). We had dinner at the hotels restaurant once - nicely presented, smaller portions for about 7-10 euros of seared tuna and tempura shrimp with chips, but it was enough for us as dinner. I do recommend this hotel.

Well equipped rooms, very clean, spacious. Location not great, a 15 minute walk to supermarket for basics like water. No daytime snack bar, not set up for family days around the pool which was a huge shame for us. A car is advisable, we missed out on alot because of the distance. Cannot fault the rooms though.

Excelente relação qualidade / preço. Apartamento espaçoso, limpeza adequada e funcionários atenciosos. O único inconveniente são os lugares de estacionamento atribuidos aos apartamentos serem muito pequenos.

Very nice apartment chilled out place it has resturants and pubs within easy walking distance rooms are standard but vomgy enough to enjoy the stay, the staff are friendly polite and very helpful, i eould revoment a car hire which some are very cheap if you want to go further than gale or some of the surrounding area, would go stay there again

We went on a week beach break with my Mum and 1 year old daughter. The resort suited us for what we needed. Its very quiet. There is a lovely big supermarket a 10-15min walk away. Restaurants all within walking distance. Gale Beach 15-20mins walk away. You could do it without a car but we were pleased to have the car for day trips. The apartment was kitted very basically but adequate. There were no beach towels. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Great resort, perfect for self catering, however, there are good restaurants within walking distance. We had a two bedroom apartment which was large enough for the four of us (2 adults, 2 children), one bathroom & an ensuite shower room. Only negative was there was only one toilet, but a minor gripe!!

Just back from a great week at the Glenridge - the apartments are very well equipped, exceptionally clean and quite spacious. Staff are attentive and nothing is a bother for them - any requests are actioned within minutes. Its a small complex so was lovely and quiet which is what we were looking for. There is not much to do in the area so if you are after a lot of buzz then this is not the place for you, but if you want a holiday that is restful and relaxing then its perfect. A 10 minute walk from the beach which is beautiful (there are also lots of little coves along the beach that are nice and private, also waterspouts available at the beach). Supermarkets are 5 mins walk one way or 10 mins walk to a larger one, both are well equipped with all you would need and the quality is very good. A few shops are dotted here and there but its just the usual touristy stuff in them. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, all that we tried were fab, weve been to Portugal a few times and weve always found the food and service in restaurants to be of a high quality and very reasonable. The only negative I spotted was that there werent that many sunbeds available - if all the apartments were occupied it may be hard to get a bed but then the beach had loads so it may not be a major issue! All in all a little hidden treasure of accommodation if you are after peace and quiet to chill.

Clean, quiet resort with maybe 20 apartments, some privately owned. Had two bedroom, spacious apartment close to the pool and swings, ideal for kids (8 and 12 yrs). All rooms had electric shutters on windows. Cleaned every day (except Sunday) with fresh towels. Pillows a bit small and flat and beds not the most comfortable but ok. Kitchen had big fridge, dish washer and microwave. Pool always clean and not busy at all considering peak time (1st two weeks of August). Snacks and drinks available anytime (Pigtail chips a must!). Had meal in restaurant first night - lovely food, also for kids. Ideal location if you want a quiet family holiday but dont expect any entertainment (only karaoke night Thurs til 11pm). This suited us but may be too quiet for some. Small supermarket 10 min walk and larger one ~20 mins towards Gale. Nice restaurants close by - Sao Domingos good kids menu and fab desserts! Go to Praia Da Gale at Gale beach for wonderful sunset and great traditional Portugese food. Gale beach busy but definitely worth visiting. We hired a car for a few days and went to Aquashow water park which was great for the kids. Also went to Albufeira a couple of times (once by taxi) but getting a taxi back to resort at 2pm in the afternoon was a nightmare as you cant flag them down. All in all, a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday but with plenty of things to do nearby if you want a change of scene. Note - there is no golf on the resort! Go to Salgados (5 min drive away).

We had a great ten days break here the location is great, the accommodation clean and the staff very plesent and helpful, there is a few great restaurants near by and very close to gale beach. Overall a very relaxing holiday and I would highly recommend the glen ridge for families and couples.
