Just back from 8 days in the Zarco apartments, it was our second time staying there and it was as good as the first time.The apartments are slightly basic but are amazingly clean due to the daily cleaning and towel changes, there are no shortage of sun beds around the pool or garden area, the staff are so helpful and friendly.The location is excellent for either walking(20mins) or availing of the free shuttle bus to get to the marina, we will look forward to returning!

Just back after a week's holidays, lovely clean spacious apartment. Staff were extremely helpful especially Margarita. What it says on the site is what you get, just 5 minute walk is a spar shop with everything you need except cigarettes, no full milk as it does not keep so half milk is ok. Fruit keeps a week just sitting on work top it's so fresh especially oranges and bananas, bottles of wine from 2.75. Fresh bread can be ordered in Zarco they bake each morning. Can't wait to go back, also when travelling to Albufeira or Faro use the ordinary bus rather than taxis even going down to marina. Ask at Zarco for directions to bus stop explain where your goin they will tell you which side of road, buses don't run Saturday or Sunday. Free bus to the 2 beaches from Zarco don't run Saturday or Sunday either, taxis not that expensive. Bus to Albufeira for 2 adults 9. Euro .Bus to Faro 10. Euro for 2. Lovely day trips to the old towns. Marina area stunning not at all expensive.

Stayed for a fortnight in September.Always a bit nervous staying somewhere for the first time but this didn't disappoint.Staff are super friendly and will do as much as they can for you.Rooms are spacious and tidy and maids come in everyday to change towels and bedding.pool area is nice and there's a bar for drinks and snacks.I would 100% stay again.2 minute walk to local spar,2 restaurants and a couple of bars.3 Euros in an Uber to the marina.plenty of free parking for your hire car as well

Very nice place, really big apartment, spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean towels every day. Plenty of sunbeds to go around. Nicely kept gardens with good size pool. Snack bar for food and drink available all day at reasonable prices. Lovely 20 mins walk to marina and beach, Quatteria a further 15 mins pleasant coastal walk further on. Plenty of bars and resteraunts within easy walking distance. 2 Spar supermarkets close by. Courtesy shuttle bus to marina/beach 4 times a day. Would definitely consider coming back.

Lovely holiday big apartment and spotlessly clean. Close to spar and a couple of really nice restaurants. Only complaint is the bed was very hard, but that may suit others.

Excellent apartments with everything you need. Very cheap and just a 20-30 minute walk to the marina. Small supermarket and restaurant and bars just round the corner as well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

BEWARE, lock away all valuables during your stay here... I left a North face jacket hanging in the wardrobe during a recent stay here (checked out @ 4:45am), and when I rang them to retrieve it @ 10am (before our designated check-out time of 11am) it had vanished!!! I have since made multiple calls to locate it and the staff were extremely unhelpful. We were told that they would look for it and call us back but 2 days on and we are still awaiting any response. It has left a very sour taste after what was a pleasant holiday in Vilamoura!

The apartments was not very good broken mirror on the wardrobe and broken micro wave which was very dangerous if used the pool was ok

Recently stayed here with 2 of my friends and we all thought it was great! Apartment was lovely and clean and was cleaned every afternoon so always had fresh towels. The facilities were great, there are plenty of great restaurants about but would be easy enough to prepare food with the utilities in the apartment. The air conditioning was very much appreciated and there was a unit in each room which was great The staff on the desk were always friendly and greeted us everytime we walked through the door, we arrived on quite a late flight and they offered to cook us a pizza on arrival which was a Godsend. You can also have reception book a taxi for you for 50c which then costs around €5 to get to the marina, which between a few people is very reasonably priced! However the walk to the marina is quite fun as there is a fitness circuit that runs pretty much most of the way there and is particularly entertaining when walking back to the apartment after a few too many drinks! Overall had a wonderful stay at Apartmentos Zarco and would definitely come back here if I visit Vilamoura again, many thanks!

Basic apartments, but have everything you need. The kitchen had all the utilities we needed including a juicer, coffee maker etc. Bed was comfortable. TV had only one English channel, and that was Fox, so bring a few books! Surprisingly, our apartment was cleaned and had bedlinen and towels changed every day (when we booked we were told it would be once or twice a week). The whole hotel was spotless! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Absolutely no complaints there! Theres a basic bar by the pool, where you can get coffee, beer, spirits and basic snacks like toasties. It's about a 25-20 minute walk to the marina, but they have a free shuttle bus which runs every 2 hours. Just 100m away are two restaurants and a large Spar. One of the restaurants, "A Carpa", is superb: family run and a great range of superb Portuguese food. The other, Chez Carlos, is overpriced, lacks atmosphere and the staff make it very clear they don't want to be there. Zarco was very cheap and we will definately go back if we're in the area.

We booked our holiday last minute and chose Zarco apartments mainly due to cost. As mentioned by previous reviewers the apartments are slighted dated BUT they are clean and comfortable, exactly more than suitable for our needs with a tidy sized kitchen and lovely big/clean bed. Friendly and helpful staff members. We arrived just before midnight, with no restaurants open the staff offered to make us ham and cheese toasties as we checked in which were greatly appreciated. The marina is approx 15 mins walk on foot. Lovely flat/scenic path with fitness stations along the way. If you enjoy keeping fit i highly recommend you pack some trainers and make the most of this purpose built walkway. Taxis cost us €5 each way and take 2-3 minutes. We still have a few days left of our stay but are very happy with the apartment especially for low cost.

Cheap and cheerful...very friendly and helpful staff and within walking distance (20mins brisk) to Vilamoura marina and beaches.

Brilliant value for money, yes things look a bit tired, but everything is clean and tidy, staff carnt do enough for you, we came for a week and go home on Saturday it's been a great week so far ,weather has been hot hot hot did not expect it to be this hot so this is a bonus, will definitely be coming back to zarco apartments .

Atenciosos, boas instalações sempre limpas. Piscinas sempre em boas condições com espreguiçadeiras e relvado. Cozinha bem equipada, zona para churrascos no jardim, esplanada. Zona calma e sossegada durante a noite, ideal para descanso. Super-mercado, restaurantes e bares a 100mts Parque de bicicletas publicas mesmo em frente. A 5min da praia da Falésia/Rocha baixinha. ***** (boa praia com facil estacionamento) A 5min do centro de Vilamoura Parque com sombras
