A Place NOT TO Be MISSED!!!
Wat an absolute gem this wee restaurant is so friendly an the food is excellent the fish is out of this world cooked to perfection the outside of the restaurant does not do it justice but hey just come in u will be very pleasant surprised an such good value for your money a complete meal 5 Courses for €12 and that enclude a drink for that to staff is great especially the lady Waitress who speaks very good English

Affordable and tasty. Set menu for €12 includes bread, soup, main meal (fish or meat), then desert and tea/coffee. I had sardines and boiled potatoes, which were simple and tasty. The family had piri piri chicken and omelette. Service was ok to start with, but slowed as the evening went on. Recommended for families, couples and everyone really.

Doskonałe ryby. Miła obsługa. Lokal niepozorny z wyglądu ale z pewnością warto tu wpaść jeśli nie jest się snobem potrzebującym czerwonego dywanu. Polecam.

The amount of people who enjoy a meal in this restaurant on a daily basis are wholly granted. The food is very tasty and affordable.The restaurant should be avoided at peak times though.

Einfach herrlich, sehr lecker. Ein Familienbetrieb das ein tolles Menü anbietet.
Günstig und sehr freundlich. Unbedingt probieren.
P.S. Waren zum zweiten Mal heute dort und es war noch besser als beim ersten Mal.
Schade das ich keine weiteren Sterne vergeben kann.

Waren dort gerade zum Essen! Waren erst skeptisch! Aber angenehm überrascht!
Vorspeise ein leckeres knusprig gebackenes Brot mit Knoblauch! Dann eine cremige Tomaten Suppe! Dann leckere knusprige Hähnchen mit Pommes und selbstgemachte piri piri paste! Und Nachtisch zur freien Auswahl! Super nette Bedienung! Wir werden dort wieder Essen!

Cena espectacular. Se puede pedir un menú de 12€ con sopa/crema de la casa más plato principal (especialidad pescado, claro está) con cerveza y postre casero. Todo riquísimo, rapidez en el servicio y atención muy amable y encantadora.

Now this is how a restaurant should serve their customers. We spent over 30 days in Portugal (north, east, west and south) and that was by far THE BEST experience we had. The best confirmation of that would be that since we discovered this place we have been there 4 more times! The stuff here is not just friendly and professional. They should get some award for the best customer service. Seriously. They all speak perfect English, French, German and Spanish. And of course Portuguese. Owner's daughter is a member of the stuff and she is absolutely amazing - we had some great conversation there.
I know it is hard to believe but for 11 euro you have STARTERS (garlic bread or normal bread with butter and sardine paste), SOUP (tomato, onion or veggie) DRINKS ( big bear or big flask of vine), MAIN COURSE (over 25 to choose from), DESERT (ice creams, cakes, fruits etc) and COFFEE. FOR 11 EURO! Everything is super fresh and tasty - we tried swordfish, halibut, turkey breast in mushroom sauce, pork steak, chicken etc etc. I don't remember being so satisfied with the whole restaurant ever in my life. Just try it!

Posso avere più di 5 stelle ? Il sorriso e la cordialità del cameriere sono stupefacenti. Stupefacente é mangiare così bene con un menu fisso da 11.00 . Tutto delizioso pesce fresco porzioni abbondanti e locale pulito. La meraviglia è stata avere per un due amici che avevano chiesto nel menu il vino e si sono trovati con la brocca a tavola che solo quella in altri locali abbiamo pagato euro 7.00. Che dire correte lì a mangiare. Consigliatissimo!

Ne paye pas de mine ,mais l accueil et la cuisine sont au rendez vous !!!!
Je conseille les crevettes et surtout le cataplana !!! Ne pas avoir peur pour les portions vous ne sortirai pas avec la faim !!!

1 étoiles pour le menu qui ne casse pas des briques , mais 0 pour le service, très, très long, 2 heures pour une entrée et personne pour s'excuser de l'attente , je déconseille fortement ,allez un peu plus bas au 3 Marias restaurante et la rien à voir rapidité et gentillesse sont de rigueur et en plus ils parlent français

Preis leistung ist wirklich super. Nehmt das Menü für 12Euro. Wir hatten: geröstetetes Knoblauchbrot, Suppe bzw. Salat, als Hauptgericht gegrillten Lachs mit Gemüse bzw. Ein Flanksteak mit Spiegelei und Pommes und als Nachspeise schokoladentorte bzw. Eis. War alles reichlich und lecker. Dazu einen halben Liter weißwein, ein Bier und eine Cola. Insgesamt haben wir 25 Euro gezahlt:)... Sehr freundliche Bedienung und nett eingerichtet im Stil einer einfachen Taverne. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Un buon ristorante ad Albufeira, caratterizzato da ambiente casalingo, il che, in una cittadina turistica, é ormai raro qui in Algarve.
Menu molto ampio che offre tanti piatti della tradizione e non, compresa la famosa zuppa di pesce (cataplana).
Tanti tavoli, sia all'interno che all'esterno.
Proprietari e personale gentile, prezzi minori di tanti altri ristoranti della zona. Porzioni decisamente abbondanti.

Miejsce poprawne ale bez rewelacji. Chwilę czekaliśmy na zamówienie, a kelner nas obsługujący nie ogarnął całego naszego zamówienia. Zamówienie składało się z zupy pomidorowego, dorsza, kalmarow oraz żabnicy. Ostatnie danie było grillowane pozostałe smażone na głębokim oleju podawane wraz z frytkami. Kalmary były w krążki krojone, dorsz smaczny.

We were looking for a traditional Portugese restaurant serving seafood and found this one just down the street. The staff were very welcoming; made us feel right at home. We had complete meals for 11 euros each, including garlic bread, soup or salad, fish (my husband had grilled sole and I had grilled bream), rice or potatoes, a flask of wine, dessert, and coffee. Everything was so delicious--just what we wanted!
