Fun event to visit with the family (spoiler alert: they don't kill the bulls), just poke the ma little bit. Kindof expensive though, cost was $30 Euros per person for middle-seats. Love the fact that they let you get in the ring and try it out yourself!

Walki byków, tradycja, nie przez wszystkich uznawana i tolerowana - podczas walk protestowało trzech widzów, dosyć szybko spacyfikowanych. Jeśli o mnie chodzi, ciekawy spektakl, który świadomie i chętnie obejrzałem, jestem pod wrażeniem całej otoczki, ceremonii związanej z wydarzeniem, polecam zobaczyć na własne oczy. Bilety dostępne w wielu miejscach, w kasach przy bullringu również, w cenach od 20 do 100 euro. Sam spektakl trwa ok dwie godziny. Polecam zabrać ze sobą jakieś ciepłe okrycie, strasznie wiało i zmarzliśmy okrutnie, pomimo że był środek lata. Można kupić piwo, ciepłe napoje, popcorn itp. Fighting of bulls, tradition, not by all considered and tolerated - during the fight protest three spectators, quite rapidly pacific. To me, interesting spectacle, I am impressed with the entire shell, ceremonies related to the event, I would recommend to see their own eyes. Good place to experience the spectacle of bullfighting. Price for seats range from €20-50. Can get cold due to the wind so bring a jacket. Seating if it's not busy is just by row colour.

I find it very dissapointing that supposidly intelligent humans find this entertaining. Whilst these dark age type of humans attend this will not end. Cruelty, bulls experience fear also and pain just like us.

I went because I was curious and have never seen a bull fight before because bulls are normally killed which I don't agree with. I beleive that there is nothing Evil going on here in albufeira its just a show, the bull is teased a bit but it didn't seem particularly bothered by the barbs which were used they didnt draw blood and some of them just fell out. Show lasts for 1hr 30mins with 3 sessions different matador horse and bull used each time. Cheapest seats at back cost 20euros per person tickets and can be purchased at the arena. There was also plenty of free parking next to the arena. Right at the end they put a bull in with some of the crowd and the bull definitely comes off for the better a couple off men got ramed and trampled but again nothing serious. If anything its the horses which stand more chance of getting hurt, in my opinion the matadors should do more on foot rather than horseback.

A once in a lifetime experience! Thank you to the drunk Englishmen who made the experience especially entertaining!

For those of you who enjoy barbaric and sadistic activities. The bull is tortured with iron spikes, which are taken at the end for further pain and torture, ripping flesh and muscles. Holes are then filled with salt (nice isn’t it?). Blood all over the arena and people applauding. If you’re one of those, this is the right show for you.

Performance was fine, but I thought that no place for the kids in there, I felt sorry for animals,. Good was that part when they not use metal sticks and was funny when they call many people to go inside.

É ridículo que em pleno século 21 ainda se pratique "espetáculos" de tortura no nossso país. Que esta praça/arena seja usada para melhores fins, quem sabe espetáculos a sério e parem de torturar os pobres animais.

Amazing experience and introduction to Portuguese style Bullfighting; which means the bull is not harmed. Even though this is a minor venue and doesn't attract the attention and talent of other places, I still found the Forcados to be brave, the horsemanship to be astounding and the bulls to be on point. If you love culture then this should not be skipped on a trip to Portugal. A short drive from the popular places like Portimão; where we stayed.

Uma vergonha, não sei como pode existir capacidade para essa atrocidade. Os turistas são enganados, dizem à nós que não ferem o Touro mas é tudo mentira, horrível, como conseguem chamar isso de espetáculo? Essa praça é a vergonha dos portugueses!

This is pure torture for sick people, the bulls are tortured and to say its a portuguese tradition is like justifying the colliseum in Rome when they killed thousand of people. 90% of portuguese people hate and any animal lover Will do as well! Stierkämpfe sind nicht mein Ding

Der Stierkampf ist Tradition in Portugal. In dieser Arena werden keine Stiere getötet. In der Regel treten 3 bis 4 Matadore auf, wir hatten eine Unterhaltung von ca 3 Stunden, die Eintritspreise sind erschwinglich. Wenn keine Stierkämpfe ausgetragen werden kann die Arena auch besucht werden. Diese Arena ist zwar kein vergleich zu der in Madrid, troz allem war es ein Unterhaltsamer abend. Am Ender der Kämpfe bekommen Freiwillige die Changse dem Stier entgegen zu treten.
