Nous avons passé un super apres- midi au bord du bateau de Captain Steve. Il navigue sur un bateau traditionnel de pêcheurs en bois, tellement plus sympa que l immense ferry avec les touristes entassés ! Au départ d’Ohlao, il nous a emmené sur la superbe île de culatra en nourrissant le voyage d histoires insolites sur les pêcheurs du coin. Nous recommandons grandement !! Super moment !

We had a fantastic time yesterday with captain Steve excellent tour we only booked for a part trip but it was so good we stayed for the full day would highly recommend.

Captain Steve war nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich und hat uns gleich für seine kleine Bootstour überredet. Auf einem umfunktionierten kleinen Fischerboot ging es auf eine der kleinen Inseln (Culatra), welche etwas weniger toristisch ist als die anderen. Neben zahlreichen interessanten Informationen zu den Inseln und der portugiesischen Kultur erzählte uns Captain Steve während der überfahrt nach Culatra noch weitere Anektoden aus seinem Leben. Auch wenn der Ausflug nur bis 18.00 dauern hätte sollen, war erst um 19.00 schluss. Somit konnten wir die wunderschönen Strände im Naturschutzgebiet etwas länger genießen.

Did the sunset boat ride today - it was great! Steve was a very informative and entertaining guide and the two hour tour was really enjoyable. We stopped in Culatra for 30 minutes, had a walk around the island then on to see Armona Island and lots in between topped off by a fantastic sunset before arriving back at Olhao. A great trip and great value at €20. Definitely recommend!
