Heel gezellig Hollands eetcafé ,waar je ook echt Hollands kan eten. Eigenaar doet echt erg zijn om het je naar je zin te maken. Aanrader !!!

Lekker gegeten en je vriendelijk ontvangen, geeft het gevoel van oud Hollands eet café je kijkt je ogen uit naar de plaatjes op muren.

Echt lekker Hollands (kip saté met wijcko saté saus, mals) en een stoofpotje met rundvlees. Gast vrij ontvangen en bediend. Echt een aanrader om even te genieten van de Hollandse kaart. De volgende dag weer hiernaar toe gegaan, hebben weer de overheerlijke kipsare genomen en de kip cordon blue, de kassasysteem was net kaasfondue, erg lekker weer. Gaan hier zeker vaker komen

Leuk opgezet eetcafe. Modern, sfeervol en gezellig. Eten was in 1 woord geweldig! Aardige eigenaren. Prijzen zeer schappelijk! Zeker aanrader! Hier moet je gewoon 1 keer eten.

Een heerlijk, rustig gelegen eetcafé! Eten waar zorg aan besteed is/wordt! Bedankt!

Well, an uncomfortable experience to say the least. We booked and arrived at 6.30 pm. Ed ask us on arrival twice if we booked (what is the point to book if nobody knows about it!). Because he was busy behind the bar he pointed with his finger at a table and told us that was our table (a bit off handed, don't you think. Not a very nice welcome!). The Restaurant part only caters for about 12 eaters of which 10 were already occupied. The waitress came to us telling us that there were not sufficient 'menus' (what!, a first one for me) so we had to wait a while. We ordered gin and tonics and eventually ordered. It took at least one hour before we got served at 7.45 pm (get help, please!). We got an extra salad, which we didn't ordered (no dressing at all on it or any facilities to be use at the table). The food was nicely cooked but my fillet steak looked very lonely with no vegetables on the big plate. My partner complained that her stew pot was too salty. Nobody asked us if we wanted wine and when we asked for half a bottle of red we were informed that they only had full bottles (Hick, hick!). The place was too noisy with an inappropriate type of music for a restaurant with 2 large TV's (in that small space?) showing football at full volume. I mentioned it to Ed, but he told me there was no music or noise (in other words, customer be quiet!). At the point of getting the dishes off the table my partner suggested ''entremesa'' (desert) and was told by the waitress: "let me take the dishes first, don't you think" (very disrespectful and rude). She was too familiar and treated us as if we were children. I looked at the bill (64,20 euros!) and noticed that every item was charged separately like Gin 3,50, tonic 1,50 etc, etc. So my steak was priced at 21 euros but at the end cost over 25 euros. These people need to get their act together in every respect. .

Het was op 12 januari 2020 helaas gesloten wegens vakantie. We hadden op de site gekeken, maar daar stond het helaas niet op. Hebben toen maar ergens anders gegeten. Maar denk dat dit voor meerdere restaurants geldt. Velen zijn nu gesloten.

We've eaten here several times over the years, and tonight's visit didn't disappoint. We were 2 couples who enjoyed a 3 course superb meal, consisting of lovely Tomato soup or mushrooms on toast for starters then chicken cordon bleu, mushroom schnitzel or beef stew, followed by scrumptious Dutch apple pie. The service was cordial and our hosts made us very welcome. We'll definitely be back.

Nee, te simpel om hier te gaan eten... Kan je beter naar het oude Albufeira gaan. Zit ook een Hollandse eettent. Met een veel uitgebreidere kaart en net zo duur... €15 voor een menu... Tja je wilt frikandel/kroket/schnitzel of niet. De is leuk...Cis is moe en saai! Sorry Cis... Beter een piri piri peper in je...dan loop je war sneller! Oeps! Nee , voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

We happened upon this lovely restaurant on a particularly difficult day of our travels. It turned our day around! The owners are friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere peaceful and clean.
