The wine was sour as it was served at boiling temperature. The vegetables were grown in a salt lake. And the meat was too well done. Two stars because of the view and the check error in our favour.

De Tomahawk steak viel tegen. Veel bot en weinig eetbaar vlees verhoudingsgewijs. Partner had Filet mignon Gorgonzola, die was stukken lekkerder. Weinig frietjes en sla. Uitzicht natuurlijk prima, veel bekijks. Bediening was bij ons vriendelijk. Het is een toeristische massatent.

Visited this restaurant 4 times this week and had great food and service on each occasion. Hopefully come back again next year

Heerlijk gegeten, mooi uitzicht!

We order calamares and chips, both were good but the service was disappointing. On Sunday September 9th there was a portuguese guy served us really well but there was another guy using sunglasses that didn’t speak portuguese and barely english, when we wanted to order he said “my colleague will take your order” but his colleague never came until we call the portuguese guy again who took our order. If he’s not able to speak to the customers neither take orders I don’t know what this guy is doing there. It seems that they are short of staff.

Always love visiting here, staff are fab and great food. Lovely location too. Looking forward to coming back again.

I visited here a couple of times whilst in Portugal and have no complaints about any visit. The staff were attentive, friendly and made a great effort with my son throughout our meal. The food tasted fresh, was very well presented and the portion sizes & price were perfect!

Ok restaurant. It sits on a party street and most customers are little tipsy in the afternoon. Restaurant sits opposite of a party house so at least it is entertaining to people watch. Food is ok, we had steaks and they came close to well done regardless of what we ordered but they were tasty. Service is pleasant but in rush times bit slow. Prices are as to be expected on main street- not the cheapest. Overall ok place to eat. Would i come back instead of checking other restaurants on the street...no. Whole street is full of grill houses and restaurants so planty to choose from. Waiters are a big plus in the El Rancho, nice and helpful even when the children made a mess...

Fantastisch 4x gegeten. Afgezien van het goede kwaliteit vlees zie en merk je hoe lief het personeel is voor de gast maar ook als team hecht zijn. Hier komen we zeker terug@

Veľmi dobrá atmosféra, rýchla obsluha a fakt super ceny. Najlepšia lokalita v meste, priamo na pláži.

Gostei muito como sempre. Já são três anos a visitar o El rancho da baixa de Albufeira e continuamos a receber a qualidade que nos foi proposta da primeira vez, o staff continua praticamente o mesmo e muito simpático. Acerca das carnes preparem se para um manjar de sabores muito bem confecionado. Estão de parabéns e até para o ano.

Frente a la playa y muy buenas las costillas de cerdo.

Malo no, malisimo. Nuestra experiencia ha sido de lo más pésima posible. En primer lugar, el camarero nos atendió muy desganado y con malas caras... En segundo lugar, pedí una brocheta de cordero (que la carne era de "oveja vieja", tenía un sabor horrible) mi pareja quería una buena carne y le trajeron un medallón de lomo de vaca (supuestamente era XXL y la mejor carne de su carta) y como buenos conocedores de la buena carne, eso era de todo menos buena y menos carne y por ella nos cobraron 30€. Finalmente el postre horrible, pedí tarta de manzana.... Y era hojaldre recalentado y como aceitoso, además de que no tenía apenas manzana En fin, cenamos dos personas por 85€ y nada bueno... Ah si, el agua sin gas, que por lo menos sabía a agua.

Beautiful view but very average food. My fajitas were decent enough but the steaks were either overdone or chewy.

Der Anblick des Lokals ist einladend und macht neugierig. Auf der Speisekarte sind verschiedene Steak's aufgelistet und diverse Beilagen. Das Personal ist flott unterwegs, die Vorspeisen werden schnell serviert und ebenso schnell das Hauptgericht. Das mindert das Gefühl der Gemütlichkeit und man bekommt das Gefühl, schnell wieder gehen zu müssen. Das Essen ist ok aber für ein Steakhaus nicht überragend.

Ive been going here since 2010 and the food is excellent. The owner Jose is very friendly and remembers you each year. Love it.

O El Rancho oferece uma vista fantástica sobre a Praia dos Pescadores. Oferece também uma interessante escolha de carnes. Provamos um bife de vazia à portuguesa e um entrecosto. Estavam os dois muito bons e com bons acompanhamentos. A cerveja estava gelada, tal como gosto, o que tornou o almoço ainda mais agradável. Recomendo!
