My fiance and I had the Bife de Portuguesa. The dish was fine but nothing special. We didn't try the wine so I can't comment on that. The waiters spoke great English for anyone who can't speak Portuguese who visit. We went due to the great reviews but we found it pricey for what it is.

Heerlijk gegeten met lekkere wijn (veel keuze overigens). Eindelijk een kaart zonder spaghetti, hamburger of pizza, gewoon lekkere, eerlijke gerechten. Service is vriendelijk en er is zelfs een kleine ruimte voor de kids om te spelen. Hier gaan we deze vakantie zeker nog een keer eten.

Second visit this week, absolutely love this restaurant the garden setting has beautiful and peaceful atmosphere although there is a busy road nearby. Between us over the two visits we had Piri Piri Chicken, chicken kebab, chicken and mushroom and the cod fish, cranberry cheesecake and walnut and cranberry merangue everything we tried was delicious as was the house red wine. Lastly the service is excellent friendly and chatty we will be back on our next visit. Thank you to all of the staff for two lovely evenings.

Visited this lovely restaurant last year when we stayed close by in farmvilliage apartments was so nice we ate here 3 times on returning to Albufria now with friends we visited this evening and were not disappointed food was excellent as were the staff it's certainly a hidden gem and well worth a visit

Restaurante muito bonito, acolhedor e com empregados simpáticos e experientes. Tempo de espera relativamente rápido. Comida deliciosa e bastante (não conseguimos comer tudo). Sobremesas deliciosas e originais, nada daquelas fatias apenas cortadas. Bastante variedade de vinhos, bebemos a sugestão da semana que era muito boa. Quanto ao preço, pagamos 60,50€ pelas entradas, camarão, bife portuguesa, bife Diana, o vinho, 2 sobremesas e cafés. Ainda nos foi oferecido um digestivo a escolha. Defensivamente o meu restaurante preferido. Muito bom e recomendo.

Everything was absolutely spot on ! A very cosy place with great atmosphere, staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptionally good. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. A must visit out of the touristic Albufeira.

Absolutt den beste maten i Albufeira. Ligger litt utenfor sentrum heldigvis og er vel verdt turen. Koselig uteplass man kan kose seg med en appertiff mens man venter på å gå inn og bestille fra en rikholdig og spennende meny. Litt ventetid på maten men det skal det være når man får ferske råvarer tilberedt. Det er ikke alle som skjønner det dessverre . Solide porsjoner av både forretter og hovedretter. Har også nydelige småretter som godt kan deles. Kunnskapsrike og hyggelige ansatte. Her bør du sette av tid til å nyte en bedre middag og dessert med tilhørende god drikke. Er du i Albufeira så sett av tid til et besøk hær. Ikke av de rimeligste stedene men det absolutt beste. Vel vært pengene. Gode råvarer koster

Short walk from where I was staying on holiday so we went in without pre-booking. Friendly greeting and we were seated immediately. Beautiful food which all six of us thoroughly enjoyed. Great atmosphere and a lovely evening out. Slightly out of the main albufeira tourist areas but we'll worth visiting.

A wonderful meal, epic service and for such a good price... Can do no more then recommend, you won't be disappointed!!

Muy acogedor. Cenar en el patio debajo de arboles de limones ha sido muy agradable, el ambiente es precioso, debido también al muy buen trato del personal. El pescado estaba super rico y el vino de muy buena calidad. Precios honestos. Lo recomiendo altamente.

Dined there last night for our wedding anniversary. What a lovely place. Food perfect. I explained what sort of wine we wanted he got it spot on. The owner and his staff brilliant. Definitely go there again and will reccomend.

Although it was empty we had a lovely evening, food was nice and the place was very clean..... will definitely visit again when in Albufeira.

Nos sentimos engañados, pedí pollo al piri-piri y Lle dije si podía ser pechuga en vez de pierna. Si hicieron en cambio sin problemas, pero nos cobraron por el plato prácticamente el triple del valor consignado en la carta. La comida escasa, pero bastante buena. Es un engaño para turistas cautos. Superbe expérience dans ce restaurant ! Le lieu est magique et l'expérience gustative incroyable. La Morue au Lagareiro est exceptionnelle et je vous recommande fortement la Sangria au vin rouge qui est sans doute la meilleure sangria de toute ma vie. Très bon rapport qualité/prix avec de petites entrées très bonnes ! J'y retournerai quand je serai de passage à Albufeira.

I was looking for a traditional Portuguese meal and imagine my surprise that all that was o the menu was the same thing we find in any Beefeater around the UK. Super inflated prices and they definitely tried to fool me regarding the wine and charging me for stuff we didn't order. Great location and design but it's definitely a tourist trap. Do not bother.

So, We had high hopes for this after looking at Google and trip advisor reviews, and in fairness a 3.5. Food was ok (steak was like it was steamed or something, didn't seem fried, was okay but most taste from the sauce rather than meat), salad was very fresh and appetising. Gin and tonic was decent - good gin menu. Desserts were alright but all pre packed Ole/ Walls stuff. €100 for a family of 4 for two courses plus drinks (2 x G&T).... that said, service was SO SLOW!! Initially they were very speedy but when we finished our main course we waited an eternity for the dessert menu after asking for it straight after main course; in the end, we had to go inside and ask for it.. more mega waiting. Once it came desserts arrived okay.. then another wait. So, we decided to ask for the bill as soon as desserts were cleared, which never happened so we had to ask again.. perhaps not a mega issue but becomes a problem when you have a 4 year old with ants in his pants... 2.5hrs plus for dinner is excessive. Other tables in and out whilst we were there. I thought it was expensive for what it was overall. Staff okay but not hugely friendly as in other reviews. As my husband eloquently said "I wouldn't go back in a hurry", he thought they were dragging it out so they looked busy. We did get a complimentary port at the end which was nice. Not dreadful, but not fantastic... totally average but kids said they liked it.

Fantastic meal at this restaurant this evening. Food was excellent, steaks, chicken and tuna steak were fantastic. Service was impeccable, lovely family service. Complimentary breads, olives and port which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend. Well done!

Hele langzame service. We waren na 20 minuten nog niet geholpen. Dus zijn we maar weggegaan. Ook bleek dat er geen brood meer was voor entree! Hoe kan zoiets in het hoog seizoen?!

Good restaurant with good staff,service, good food and very nice wines !. I have been there for the second time within 4 days and for sure I 'll come back for the third time. For the visitors of the appertements ofClub Albufeira a very good alternative if you want to eat outside the complex. Written by a Dutch Club Albufeira visitor !

Selten so einen guten thunfisch gegessen. Das Restaurant liegt ausserhalb von albufeira, recht abgelegen. Daher auch etwas günstiger und sehr viel ruhiger als im lautem Zentrum. Die selbstgemachten Kuchen runden das essen sehr zufriedenstellend ab.
