Wir waren in den kleineren Ferienhäusern untergebracht und hatten dieses trotz der überwiegend schlechten Bewertungen genommen. Diese Häuser sind in der Tat renovierungsbedürftig, uns hat das aber nicht gestört, da wir als Campingfreunde keinen Luxus benötigen und die überwiegende Zeit sowieso unterwegs waren. Die Natur und der Strand entschädigen sowieso für alles. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt auch gern Nachhilfe in portugiesisch. Das Essen (HP) ist sehr gut, viel frisches Obst und Fisch. Mietwagen ist notwendig und sollte ggf. gleich mitgebucht werden! Zwei Supermärkte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für uns steht fest: Wir kommen wieder her!

I read some dog rough reviews, but i am already to book it again, the bungalows are basic, but, we found it clean and comfortable, well worth the price, cheap doesn't mean deprived here, the location is superb, stunning, in fact, the resort staff are warm and friendly, house maids are very polite, allmin all a top place to visit

I am truly blessed have to say enjoying it only fault struggling with dinner buffet in hotel but our half board studio apartment for 2 is great

If your looking for a peaceful getaway look no further than here. Small villas, while true they need updating it will not take away from the charm off the place. Lovely beach within minutes walk one way and places to eat the other. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back !!

The property was very comfortable and clean.The towels were changed daily,and the staff very attentive and helpful.Anna the lady who looked after our apartment was extremely nice,she was always very helpful.The apartments had a few upgrades since last year.A clothes dryer in the balcony,and a nice table inside with a table cloth for dining inside.

If you are looking for the Savoy or the Ritz then this is NOT for you but if you aren't one of those moaners who expect five star accomodation for what you could pay to stay in a TENT in some locations and appreciate a bargain when you get it , then the Algarve Gardens is for you . I have noticed some improvements since I was last here . The apartments have been freshened up a bit and the welcome fruit bowl and water was greatly appreciated . I have a spotlessly clean apartment with 2 single beds , fridge , 2 ring hob , kettle , microwave and coffee maker . Television only has three English speaking channels but I topped up my data ( good deal available in Albufuiera 30GB for 15€ to be used within 15 days , so I have access to NETFLIX

Die “Villas” sind absolut schreckliche versiffte absteigen! Mein Hund hat eine bessere Hütte im Garten! Ich bin absolut sauer! Mein aufenthalt hat keine Stunde gedauert und meine Frau hat sich geweigert sich nur zu setzen vor Ekel! Ich bin aofort in ein anderes Hotel um die Ecke (Vicroria Beach) gegangen.

Het is een leuk appartementen complex. Wij zaten op 3 hoog. Helaas is er geen lift. De kamers zijn out-dated maar worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Ook elke dag nieuwe handdoeken. Alleen op zondag niet. Het ligt dichtbij het strand. Je kunt er heerlijk wandelen. Ook zijn er diverse restaurants in de buurt en een supermarktje. Je kan voor diverse faciliteiten gebruik maken van het bijgelegen Hotel. Zoals ontbijtzaal, restaurant, bar, zwembad, sauna ect.

Die Bungalows und Appartements werden jeden Tag gereinigt außer Sonntags,das Mobiliar ist noch aus den 80ziger Jahren,dies ist nicht jedermanns Sache, der Preis ist okey.

The Main Hotel is close to the beach, clean tidy and well maintained, the restaurant food is fine. But most of the remaining 1970s site and buildings are badly in need of repair and a coat of paint. If you are looking for something to do in the evenings, find something closer to the main Towns, as very little is at hand.

Sehr schöne Anlage! Ich kann meinen Vorrednern leider nicht zustimmen! Natürlich ist alles etwas abgewohnt aber das ist ja auch selbstverständlich wenn im Sommer jeder vom Strand mit seinen nassen Sachen kommt und alles hinschmeißt das die Möbel aufquellen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kinderfreundlich (waren mit einem 9 monatigen Baby da). Ich komme gerne im Sommer wieder, im Winter ist es zwar wärmer als in Deutschland aber dennoch „frisch“

El mobiliario y el interior de sus villas es del siglo 2 antes de Cristo. Un sitio en el que no querrías dormir. Es una pena porque su situación y playa son geniales. En su estado no debería estar abierto.

Great little studio apartment in a lovely setting close to the main hotel and close to the most beautiful beach location. It was very peaceful, relaxing plus we were able to use the hotel facilities inc bar, pool, jacuzzi and sauna all free. There is a bus stop, supermarket and a few restaurants within walking distance 5-10mins or you can rent a car to explore.

Fantastic place Spotless clear great Sports Complex. Second time here and will definitely return.

Hemos venido muchas veces porq la casita aunq sea antigua tiene jardines con mucho cesped y es muy soleado, para los niños genial. El spa es gratuito. Para el dinero que pagas esta bien porque sale muy economico alquilar las casitas. Me dijeron que perros NO y despues vi varios perros en casas con sus dueños. La casas son antiguas y la calefaccion no funciona hasta las 5 de la tarde. Todos los radiadores no van asi q hay q estar pendiente porq por la noche hace frio en invierno. Esta super cerca de una preciosa playa. En general nos gusta mucho.

Pésimo lugar lleno de bichos y mal cuidado. Lo mejor el personal, pero de do de no hay, no se puede sacar. Parece abandonado la zona.

Die Anlage könnte eine Generalüberholung vertragen und auch das Personal könnte sich zumindest an die grundlegenden Höflichkeitsfloskeln, wie Hallo, bitte und danke halten. Der sehr günstige Preis lässt aber über einiges hinwegsehen.

Die Bungalows sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat viel Platz und die Sauberkeit ist gut; die Einrichtung ist alt und abgewetzt, die Ausstattung der Küche ist schlecht und heruntergekommen. Die Betten haben keine Lattenroste, die Matratze liegt auf einem Brett. Insgesamt ist es nicht gemütlich im Bungalow. Die Lage nahe des schönen Strandes ist super. Man kann hier einen preiswerten Urlaub verbringen, muss aber ziemliche Abstriche machen.

Man versucht immer zu sparen, aber Algarve Gardens Studios sollte man meiden. Sollen Appartements sein aber gefühlt 20 Jahr alt und genauso sieht es aus. Allerdings scheint es das jüngere britische Publikum nicht zu stören. Leider sind auch die matrazen nicht mehr die besten, man kann am rücken deutlich die feder fühlen. Wir haben dann am zweiten Tag ein Upgrade gemacht und sind ins Haupthaus gezogen.

Insgesamt sind wir zufrieden. Das Personal wäre freundlich. Ein indoor Pool als auch außen Pool sind vorhanden. Das Essen war reichhaltig und in Ordnung. Super ist der Nähe Strand und die Möglichkeit direkt vor Ort Autos zu leihen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist hier der Anbieter Prudente mit preiswerten Angeboten ( 3 für 5 Tage) und nicht limitierten Kilometern bei Vollversicherung. Auch Fahrräder sind vor Ort gut zu leihen. Es empfiehlt sich hier jedoch die Bremsen zu prüfen. Insgesamt sauber, aber schön etwas älter.

To start...There paint peeling on all walls, On entry to the room it stank like an old static caravan, the dining room table only has 3 chairs,patio Chairs are 3 white and one blue, the grout in the bathroom is black, the kitchen is seriously dated, One of the wardrobe doors is broken, the beds are rock hard, only one pillow per bed, the toilet has a different shape seat on it, the lounge furniture is dated, there is paint peeling in one of the bedrooms. No doubt I will find more as we have only been here a couple of hours. Seriously I wouldn't waste your hard earnt money. It's the worst place I have ever been. I wouldn't even give it one star.

Ubytování prosté, ale vzhledem k překrásné pláži a výborné kuchyni není tak důležité. Upozornění - komáři. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem si přivezl Reid proti komárům byla to balada. Ostatní známí v noci se bavili zabíjením komárů. Pláž Praia Falesia je přenádherná. Je lemována barevným pískovcem v barvě antuky. Její délka čtyři kilometry. Proto dělá dojem, že na ní je málo lidí. Má k dispozici dvojlehátka se slunečníky. Pronájem je na den 10€. Kdo šetří, koupí si slunečník v obchodě za 15€ a vedle bazénu v hotelu si od plavčíka vypůjčí velkou osušku. Na tu je záloha 10€. Každý den ji vyměníte za novou. Na konci turnusu vám vrátí kauci 10€. Pěkný je výlet do Albufeiry. Jezdí tam každou hodinu autobus. Jízdní řády jsou na recepci. Cena tam 3€.

I stayed in Algarve Gardends and the Villa I stayed in Sept 2018 was apalling This apartment is so dated and depressing i was ready to go home the night i walked in.

First off the condition of the room was terrible, the patio door was broken, and wouldn’t close never mind lock, the cooker was all rusted, there was blood on the pillow, there was mould on the bath. When I complained to the ignorant people on the desk, they refused to move me. I ended up spending another £400 on another hotel for the week. It was absolutely vile!

Lo peor los olores nauseabundos que habia en ciertas partes de la casa, parecia que habia un cadaver en algun cajon. Un ecosistema propio en los cajones de la cocina y a falta de una manita de pintura y renovacion de muebles. Las sabanas limpias y no faltaba nada en la cocina, eso si. Y las zonas comunes muy bonitas, es lo mejor del hotel sin duda y los gatitos

Just came home yesterday 16 th Sept couldn't wait to get home hotel gardens pool beach lovely then we were put in the apartments very dated and basic didn't expect the Ritz but for over a thousand pound for two people for a week expected more decent accommodation anyone that can't climb stairs do not entertain no lift ND no help had to report the kettle first day as the handle got red hot ND burnt my hand on it no appoligies just changed it nothing around apart from couple cafes ND a restaurant ND supermarket that's it middle of nowhere would not recommend this place at all am also covered in mosquito bites from room no aircon or extractor.fan in bathroom and for anyone that doesn't like cats luckily we love them there are absolutely loads of them all over hotel grounds cleaners very friendly poor women only so much they can do

Wer hier Luxus erwartet liegt hier falsch. Preis Leistung stimmt . Anlage stammt aus den 80er Jahren . Möbelmässig wurde hier nichts getan . Aber ich will ja nur hier schlafen und nicht in der Bude hocken .Alles sauber in der Küche Herd, Geschirr , mircowelle, Kaffeemaschine etc. Reinigung des Bungalows fast jeden Tag inklusive neuer Handtücher sofern man sie wechseln wollte. Supernettes Empfangs und Reinigungs Personal . Ruhige Anlage . 300 mtr. zum Strand sowie zum Supermarkt. Pool sowie in der Bungalowanlage und Hotel . Ein superlanger Strand 6 km Praia de Falesia. Nicht überlaufen , hier machen viele Portugiesen Urlaub. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder . Bon dia portugal

Honestly... i want to say Thank you for all the staff, and i am very pleased that u received me this 2 weeks. Food is amazing, staff always ready to help, but i would like leave a quick advice for people that complain about the room conditions, or this or that. When you book a room, or a few days anywhere... u book a service, not people for you demand and put your bad attitude. The rooms are not the best, but you pay for you get. Feel happy because you have an opportunity to stay in Algarve, in Albufeira, in the beach, for a cheap price. Thanks for all of this week

Anlage liegt fantastisch. Sehr ruhig und nah am Meer. Bungalow aus den 70 Jahren. Vintage Charme Einfache Ausstattung aber Preis Leistung angemessen. Man bekommt das , wofür man bezahlt hat. Personal sehr freundlich.

Esto de resort no tiene nada ..todo paro en el tiempo es una porqueira todo mas mismo todo... Nada de higiene, lá comida de hospital no hay nada que se aproveche... Esto fue lo peor que alguna vez ya vi en mi vida... Nunca más nunca más... Por favor no cometan el mismo erro .... Esto es asqueroso...los precios de bebidas son un exagerado, los empleados de la recepción nada simpáticos.. no hay un baño con fraldário para mudar un bebé. Qué desilusión.

Disappointed as nothing like the picture plus took us forever to find as it comes under another hotel and they didn’t tell us or give directions especially as we were looking in the dark.

A recepcionista Sra.Maria da Luz foi a pesssoa mais simpatica que eu alguma vez encontrei numa recepcao de hotel. Fiquei na vila(vivendas)e as mesmas precisam de ser remodeladas. O espaço envolvente é excelente desde as piscinas exterior e interior com agua quente ,praia e muitas zonas verdes.relacao preço/qualidade nao se pode pedir muito mais.

After reading all the reviews I wasn’t expecting much, actually I was looking for alternatives to change “just in case”. We had a studio, yes a nice walk -7 minutes from Alfamar, but didn’t bother us. The studio was ok , yes needs some upgrades but we had a comfortable bad a bathroom a terrace and a small kitchen we didn’t use except the fridge... all good. Small shop 3 min from us, Capri pizza across the street so I was quite happy and I think for the money we payed we were well served. Reception service-good Restaurant-ok food Beach-amazing All in all better then what we expected... not 4 stars ...but clean and functional.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, para venir en pareja o familia. Encima de la playa(a 50-150m, dependiendo de donde te toque la villa asignada). El trato de todo el personal muy bien. Las instalaciones del hotel muy buenas, pero las de las villas.... Dispones de todo lo necesario, pero hace falta una buena limpieza de cara y alguna reforma, como actualizar y modernizar algunos aparatos electrónicos de cocina,cambiar los colchones (la factura del fisio me va a salir cara), que la tele se vea y escuche mejor (en algunos canales), los muebles de la cocína...... Pero aún así, volveré. Lo aconsejo

Instalações muito degradadas, velhas de mais de 40 anos, sem terem qualquer vestígio de obras de conservação ou restauro!!! Tijoleira do chão podre, estuque a cair nas paredes, etc, etc. Cortinas com buracos, equipamento de cozinha e de refeições em falta e toda desencontradas etc, etc. A lista de deficiências mais ou menos graves é enorme. E por 180€/dia!!!! Uma vez e NUNCA mais!!

Este ano as coisas não correram como em anos transatos. Um estúdio com um frigorífico e uma tv que não funcionavam ; passar para um outro estúdio de segundo andar, com um frigorífico sem tampa de congelador.....enfim, lá puseram uma tampa ao fim de 8 dias! Resta dizer que as funcionárias foram impecáveis e que o sítio é ótimo.

Estuvimos en un bloque de pisos de los años 50 con mobiliario de la época y fuerte olor a lejía. Las camareras de pisos entraban sobre las 8 de la mañana a la habitación sin llamar. Lo único bueno la cercanía de la playa.

The flats are old 47 YEARS and need a great deal of attention. The cookers are not very good be cause they are very old and do not meet British standards and rusty and they are burn Mark's on the units .The bath was brown with old age .Will not be booking this flat again

Erg rustig complex met een prachtig zwembad. Mooie wandelingen in de directe omgeving. Centrum van Lagos ongeveer 20 minuten lopen.

Das Personal ist unfreundlich, das Frühstück schmeckt nicht und die Zimmer sind heruntergekommen. Es wird kein nächstes Mal in diesem Hotel geben. Wir waren im Nebenhaus. Dort wurde ohne Vorankündigung das Wasser für einen halben Tag abgestellt. Auf die Frage hin, ob wir im Haupthaus irgendwo duschen können, wurden wir unhöflich abgewiesen.

Studio Apartments in 3201-3239 was disgusting and never updated from 1970s when built. Furniture was old, curtains and linens frayed and faded. Bath rusty. We updated at extra expense to us to Apartment 2186 curtains and bedding torn and faded, blanket old and worn didnt look to clean but was dark blue so could not be sure. Cooker was old, beds creaked at every move

We booked a studio apartment and wasnt expecting it to be great because it was cheat. When we got here we were told the rooms arent available until 2pm. The we had a long walk to the room dragging our suitcase trying to follow a dodgy map. When we got in the room I was gob smacked. It was very, very dated. I havent unpacked and I dont intend on doing so either. The beds are really uncomfortable the bathroom is so old it looks dirty. The chairs I nearly fell through them and the balcony doors come off in your hand when you try to open them. The place is really old and run down. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here.

Grounds are stunning food is great.. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever saw.... How ever the self catering apartments are really out dated.. beds so uncomfortable... Stairs are steep ... Very small... Iam all for basic but this is Basic at it's best.. but are cleaned regularly towels ect... but for money well cant expect more coffee machine great..xx ‍♀️☕ But apart from that for the price off app.. everything else is class staff food service scenery weather activities... places too go... local shops for all ur needs ... we downloaded uber for 7 euro went too albufera spent day there great holiday ... all in all... ☆☆☆☆

Visuose kambariuose atskiri kondicionieriai. Du vonios kambariai. Yra virtuvė su visa virtuvinę technika plius skalbimo mašina. Iki artimiausio prekybos centriuko pėstute 5 min. Ir dar minusas, kad registruoja tik nuo 14 val. Jei atskrendi anksčiau vis tiek lauki iki 14 val.

Die Anlage umfasst einen Outdoor- und einen kleineren Indoor-Pool. Außerdem ist der Strand schnell zu erreichen. Das angrenzende „Hotel Alfamar“ ist das eigentliche Hotel und verwaltet außerdem die Rezeption für beide Anlagen. „Algarve Gardens“ liegt direkt beim „Hotel Alfamar“ und man ist in 5-10 min am Strand. „Algarve Gardens“ umfasst mehrere Reihenhäuser mit Wohnungen für 4-6 Personen und zwei separate hotelähnliche Wohnkomplexe. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat war die Vollpension, denn es gab am Buffet größtenteils kalte Speisen und immer das gleiche. Getränke gab es leider nur zum Frühstück.

Studios à éviter absolument !!!! Les photos sont mensongeres. Elles montrent des petits pavillons alors que je me suis retrouvée face à une tour type HLM au 3 ème étage sans ascenseur. Les studios datent des années 70 et n ont jamais été rénovés : meubles en formica, TV des années 80 cassée et scotchée, rideaux déchirés, baie vitrée cassée, murs sales et sans deco sans compter le coin cuisine qui était immonde! Aucune envie de cuisiner dans un environnement aussi sale ! Une honte de louer des studios pareils !

Studio is basic, but kept clean every day. Does need updating. But ample for us as we were half board. Good facilities in the hotel. A lovely beach which is private. Staff are accommodating. Buffet food is good with a varied menu. Lovely pool with loungers. Good for the money I paid.

Beauriful garden, very close to the Beach, nice pool, rooms are spacious, maybe not modern and need some renovation but still comfortable. I cant complain.

We were left waiting for over 2 hours for an apartment!Firstly told that it was been cleaned! Waited 1hour and 20 minutes. Then when we went back to reception and they gave us a new apartment which was supposed to be ready.. walked down to that apartment and the ladies were cleaning it! So had to go up again to try and get another room! This is not on!! Rooms should be ready and not left waiting around in the boiling hot weather!! They wouldn't even offer us free breakfast or anything for all this hassle !!

Estudio viejo, roto, sucio, toallas sucias, sin iluminación, camas y almohadas viejas y malísimas, sin aire acondicionado, bichos, tercermundista!!! El personal malisimo... Horrible!

Atendimento lento demais no check um e check out,Moradias com cheiro, degradadas e sinais de falta de limpeza.Não tem Wi-Fi nem ar condicionado nas moradias, não tem nenhuma atenção de boas vindas no alojamento. Piscina com espreguiçadeira sempre ocupadas e é permitido fumar junto das piscinas, sendo que incomoda quem não fuma. Água quente nas moradias, acaba com muita rapidez. Pontos positivos são poucos, mas a proximidade à praia é uma grande vantagem. Não voltaremos...

Es war sehr schade, dass die Unterkunft so heruntergekommen war. Die Klimaanlagen haben nicht funktioniert und es war nachts dadurch sehr heiß. Leider konnte man auch nicht die Fenster aufmachen, denn in der gesamten Umgebung waren unglaublich viele Katzen und die kamen durch die Fenster rein, die man auch nicht dazu kippen konnte. Die Handtücher und Betten waren soweit sauber, aber alles sehr alt und man hatte immer das Gefühl, dass es schmuddelig ist. Die Raumaufteilung hingegen war gut. Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen.

Gutes Hotel ,wenige Meter zum Strand.

O local é agradável e bastante sossegado mas as condições muito abaixo do esperado. As moradias precisam de ser renovadas e a limpeza tem de ser bem feita. Os lençois cheiravam a mofo, as toalhas cheiravam a mofo e toda a habitaçao tinha esse cheiro presente. O valor é muito alto para as condiçoes que oferecem.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, überwiegend 2 sprachig, portugiesisch und englisch, Das Essen ist gut und reichlich, nur die Einrichtung der Bungalows ist nicht mehr als zeitgemäß zu sehen, eher einfach und schon ziemlich abgenutzt, aber sehr sauber. Soweit meine Eindrücke am ersten Tag.

Péssimo! Não indico os bangalows, são sujos e velhos. Além disso, durante nossa estadia, deixamos lanches para o café da manhã e fomos a praia logo cedo, quando voltamos os lanches haviam sumido e não havia mais toalhas. Ou seja, limparam nosso quarto sem termos feito check out. Reclamamos na recepção e levaram mais de 1 hora para resolver o problema. Total descaso com os hóspedes.

Fantastic beach, with lovely views and cliff walks. Little by the way of restaurants next to the hotel. About a 10 minute walk away next to Victoria beach and sports centre there is a small shopping area with a choice of about 10 restaurants and a lovely coffee shop opening early about 7.30 am. Very relaxing holiday and you get what you pay for.

Já estive aqui a passar férias muitas vezes mas desta vez o problema de não ter água quente foi muito para além dos limites, os primeiros dias não tive água quente e tentei saber a razão e foi me dado mais que uma razão (variava conforme o funcionário a quem eu perguntava) mas ao quarto dia lá veio a água quente mas nas horas de ponta tinha de abrir as torneiras desperdiçando dezenas de litros de água até que a quente chegasse, que de quente tinha pouco isto nas horas de maior afluência. Espero que daqui a dois meses esteja o problema resolvido dado que vou voltar porque já paguei caso contrário não voltava

Entrei no dia 22 de Junho de 2019 e vou sair no dia 29 de Junho de 2019 estou na vila 2067 que tem a topologia V2 de alguns defeitos encontrados a entrada que foram resolvidos tem um que até exta data (25\06/2019) não foi resolvido e apesar de estar sempre a reclamar dizem não ter solução o problema é que não tenho ÁGUA QUENTE pelo que tomar banho e lavar a louça têm de ser em água fria...

Villas are OK for sleeping and showering and making snacks in the kitchen. They are very run down and old fashioned. Access to the beautiful beach nearby made it worth staying.

Location is great, but this place urgently needs a big renovation. Wifi works very badly in the hotel lobby and is nonexistent in the villas. The furniture (beds, couches, tables, everything) is very very old and uncomfortable.Location is great, but that is it.

Onze studio was oud van inrichting,jaren 60-70,in de badkamer een klein lampje,stopcontact half uit de muur we logeerden op het 3de verdiep en er is geen lift. In de buurt is niks te zien alleen de zee ,een winkeltje en een paar restaurantjes (café). We hadden pech met het weer 20-22gr en veel wind,we hebben ons hier echt verveeld,soms namen we de bus naar Albufera,prijs 3,25€pppr.

Hay mucho que mejorar en las instalaciones, algo viajas y poco mantenimiento. Hay otras cosas que están antiguas. Si todo lo fueran cambiando y mejorando estaría genial ya que la parte del hotel está muy bien, el error está en las villas.

Urlaub Ende Mai 2018, 1 Woche, m und w (56, 62). Vier Sterne Hotel (Landskatergorie) in toller Lage, direkt am Meer. Sehr gediegen und ruhig, ohne großes Tam-Tam. Die Bungalows sind der Hammer, haben aber schon bessere Tage erlebt; weniger das Studio. Das Hotel bietet u.a. Frühstück. Man wird satt aber die Auswahl ist eher ein Flop! Eine Sorte Wurst und Käse, keine Butter und drei Sorten Marmelade die eine komische Konsistenz hat und kein täglicher Wechsel. Joghurt, Quark Zerealien sind ausreichend vorhanden. Obst könnte etwas mehr angeboten werden. Jeden Abend Livemusik. Die Anlage ist sauber und es gibt keine Kämpfe um die Liegen. Da das Hotel ein Sportressort ist, ist tagsüber ruhiges Leben im und um das Hotel. Das Hotel ist auch geistig - / körperlich Behinderte eingestellt. Tolle Symbiose. Das Personal ist nett, nur das morgendliche Lächeln fällt schwer ;). Für das Frühstück muss ich leider 2 Sterne geben, vier Sterne für das Hotel, Bungalows. Insgesamt liebe wir es mit etwas mehr Leben :). Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Anticuado, un poco sucio, con una pequeña fauna de insectos en las habitaciones y bastante por mejorar. Lo bueno, las zonas verdes para que disfruten los niños, la cercanía a la playa (muy buena) y el acceso a la piscina del hotel. Si buscas estar todo el día metido en el apartamento, olvídate. Pero si lo usas sólo para dormir y comer de vez en cuando, por el precio en el que está... No está mal del todo. Bueno de puertas para afuera, regular de puertas para adentro.

Bungalow sind eine Katastrophe, wir hatten für 3 Personen gebucht und bezahlt. Die 3.Person musste auf dem Sofa schlafen,weder Bettlaken noch Decke vorhanden. Reklamieren brachte nichts,das Personal verstand nichts oder wollte nichts verstehen. Wir kauften Decke und Bettlaken,war in dieser Situation die beste Lösung. Die Lage ist super aber total vernachlässigte Anlage. Putz bröckelt von den Wänden,Grünspan in Dusche, Wasserhähne tropfen und sind verrostet. In der Küche weder Spültücher noch Handtücher vorhanden. Das einzig gute an dem Laden ist die Lage.

Rooms in dire need for Renovation. Leaky faucets, unable to Read the Thermostat on the oven to Set Temp, completly worn out, same for furniture, both beds Had sink Holes in matress, bathroom mold, Patio was dirty, unable to Open Patio doors because the stray Cats kept coming in, Made therefore Home on the Patio, smells old, TV from the 80's and screeched and shrilled when on, Toaster half melted away. A Road Side Motel in the US is luxury. Stated they Had WLAN at time of booking, but on arrival was told only in the reception area is access and it is tempermental. Only positive is that you really are almost in the beachten.

Perfect place is you want a cheap relaxed holiday. Lots of sporting activities, so close to the beach and not far from the local towns. Villas are quite dated but worth it for the price and location. Would go again!

Previous reviews said it was dirty and dated, we stayed here for 10 days recently and not once thought it was unclean. The rooms are dated but seeing as we went away to enjoy the gorgeous weather, beach and local life, the room wasn't an issue - who actually goes on holiday to watch t.v anyway!? Algarve gardens is 3* accommodation with Alfamar hotel which is 4* ...even staying in the 3* accommodation you still get to use all the 4* facilities within Alfamar! I would 100% stay here again, had an amazing time here!

Decor dated with a tv from the stone age and no oven are this place only bad points. it was really clean and you have access to the main hotel so it's getting to have a 4 star hotel while only paying 3 star prices. 2 minute walk to the beach or shops and places to eat

Mixed review. I think you really really have to bare in mind the price and location of this place. We had a 1 bedroom garden Room villa which was clean but out dated is being kind. It's tired and tatty. Really needs some money spent. However being able to use the facilities at the main hotel is brilliant and we walked to Vilamoura which took about 40 mins to get to the harbour down the beach. The villa has an outdoor area and a balcony as well as a small kitchen with a microwave and a cooker hobb, fridge freezer and a sink. Again, tired but clean. No washing up things so had to go to the shop to get some We used Uber a LOT. From Vilamoura to the hotel was €14 euros and was so convenient when bringing shopping back well worth the money. Beds are extremely firm. Just a board on a box with a mattress but I don't mind a firm bed. All in all don't expect anymore than what u pay for. The beach, pool and bar/pool side food is also good. As well as a decent shop next to an amazing pizza place

Fica mesmo próximo da praia da Falésia, uma praia belíssima. Trata-se de um local ideal para descansar. Muito bom para fazer caminhadas nas falésias ou até mesmo ao longo da praia. É possível ir a pé até Olhos de Água onde se podem encontrar lojas e bons restaurantes. Muito bonito este local.

We stopped in a studio apartment, great for the price you paid However out of the way of a lot of things closest supermarket shuts at 20.30 so you have to get what you need through our the day, the block we stayed in was decent however the walls are thin so could hear crying babies through out the night,

Perfect for a student budget and a quiet area. You can walk through the hotel onto the beach and you can also use the hotel's swimming pool. I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was quite dated but it had everything I needed for a 7 night stay. Hotel staff were very helpful and even printed our boarding passes. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, budget holiday.

D’abord placé dans un immeuble au deuxième étage, j’ai pu négocier avec un supplément de 90 euro, l’acces à une maisonnette.Plus pratique pour moi (personne à mobilité réduite) de se trouver au Rez de chaussée mais maisonnettes en triste état d’entretien, coin cuisine délabrée, porte coulissante déboîtée, literie très mauvaise, visuel beaucoup de carreaux au sol effrités, fissures au mur. Équipement vieillot.

We were picked up by the shuttle bus and the driver was very friendly.All was to schedule ,we checked in to the hotel Alfamar and were welcomed by a lovely lady.We were not new to the routine as this was our third time.We made our way over to the apartments .The location is very good as there is a supermarket very close by .We had all the benefits of the hotel,the pool.the restaurant ,indoor pool,bars,not to mention the amount of comfortable sun beds ,in the lovely garden area and around the pool .The staff were very friendly ,I feel I would like to give Johnny who works in the bar a very special mention,he was extremely helpful at all times.Our visit overall was great ! We enjoyed this holiday and hope to return sometime in the future.

De goedkoopste aanbieding is voor oude flatappartementen. Flink balkon, 3 hoog, geen liften. Gehorig en heeft onderhoud en vernieuwing nodig. Wel redelijk schoon en prima bed en beddengoed. Verwarming in de kamer en in badkamer. Geen keukenhand- en theedoeken. Geen schoonmaakmiddelen. Wel badkamer bad- en handdoeken. Tv waterkoker oventje kookplaat. Geen (gratis) WiFi.

Thought we were going to be in the cute little houses shown in the pictures...No. What they did not advertise are the block of flats based behind the apartments. These were self contained flats, very dirty and dated. The bathroom facility I had was disgusting and looked like it wasn't cleaned from the previous people. We had to go out and buy cleaning detergents and clean our self. Good points, staff very friendly and welcoming, shop close by gardans are kept beautifully and beach side view is amazing.

We read the (mostly rubbish) reviews on the web and were expecting something very rough and ready, to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement, it was fine. There’s an old saying in business that says of you 100 customers, 99 of who are happy and one who is inconsiderate it’s the inconsiderate one who’ll write a review the other 99 won’t bother c’os they’re happy! CAVEAT: Bear in mind this review is based on staying in one of the adjacent villas and not the hotel thought we had access to all its facilities including the very clean pools. THE GOOD: Villas in lovely grounds, reminded me of Portmeirion, 100-300M from the hotel in beautiful grounds. We had a decent sized kitchen, cooker with oven, microwave, toaster, full-size fridge with ice box, kettle and a kettle (not standard apparently). The lounge area was fine, included a sofa bed (which turned out to be a life saver) and an old analogue TV with some US news channels. Air con upstairs and downstairs. We had a veranda and patio neither of which we used. Electricity was free and unmetered, plenty of hot water, towels, bed linen and daily maid service. Pool towel 10 Euro deposit (refundable) changed \hourlydaily if req! Hotel backs on to a stunning sandy beach with miles of beautiful coastline, bars, cafes etc. If you are looking for a beach holiday this is the one for you. Upstairs a reasonably sizebedroom, en-suite and separate loo. For us the hotel and facilities were about 200 Metres away, and they are several shops, cafes and a tourist office 300 Metres the other way. There was reasonable supermarket about 600 Metres away, and some good moderately priced restaurants and shops about 1.5KM away. Free fast Wi-Fi in the Hotel and Pool area, didn’t extend as far as the villas. Excellent Vodafone 4G signal (20MB+), Three (3G) was about 8MB. The staff were very polite and helpful, the hotel looked very modern and up to date, had a nice international feel about it. A semi rural-location so well away from the main road, bus stop about 1KM away if that. We drank the tap water no problem. The Villas are tired, perhaps 15-20 years old but most things seemed ti work, it was clean a functional, we were more than happy. THE BAD Our beds were very hard and squeaky, matresses worn out and it was just hardboard underneath them, no slates or springing. Take an air bed if you can or use the sofa cushions under you bed. The tourist offices including the one in the hotel only take credit cards, just cash. There are a couple of ATMS about 1KM near the restaurants. Pool side food was expensive, ie. Burger and chips €10. Ham and chess e toasties were awful, hardly cooked. Breakfast in the hotel very busy, bit like a railway station and €10. You can get a full English for €10 in the café down the road. We did one evening meal in the hotel (€10 each + drinks) but it was the usual all-inclusive style buffet, not much choice, warm (not hot) food. The local restaurants are much more fun! Overall we enjoyed and will come back next year now we have our bearings. I’ve travelled a lot for work in the past all over the world and this place gets 3 stars in my opinion, 10 stars if relate it to value for money!!! One of the problems I find with Internet reviews is an increasing number of inexperienced travellers are ‘shooting from the hip’ and not writing objective reviews based on services provided for the price paid. I work in the top end of the leisure holiday industry and believe you me, these sort of holidays to us represent amazing value. If you want a 5 star holiday the likes fof Fred Olsen and P&O will happily take £1000 a week from you (plus tips) for the holiday of a lifetime. But if you just to spend £300 to £500 for an easy week in the sun to unwind with no hassle these are the sorts of holidays to look at because they are repeatable and within most people’s budgets. Enjoy ….

Los apartamentos están anticuados y se puede mejorar la limpieza. Sin embargo, es un buen lugar para pasar unos días, muy cerca de la playa y con las comodidades del hotel. Positivo también que está apartado del barullo turístico que hay por esta zona.

A dir poco orribile. Appena arrivati abbiamo dovuto comprare spugna e detersivo per poter pulire tutto l'appartamento, siamo poi andati in cerca di un telo da poter mettere sopra i letti e coprire le lenzuola e le federe che avevano segni di suola di scarpa. Il pavimento è tutto macchiato e la cucina arruginita come anche tutti gli utensili del bagno...la doccia è tutta macchiata, ogni volta eravamo disgustati a doverci anche solo appoggiare i piedi con le ciabatte e dopo un minuto che l'acqua era aperta ti arrivava a metà gamba perché la vasca era completamente otturata. Consiglio di non attaccare nessun genere di apparecchio elettrico che trovate lì, accidentalmente ho attaccato la presa della stufa elettrica e dopo aver visto una fiammata abbiamo sentito puzza di bruciato in tutta la stanza. Per tutto il soggiorno abbiamo avuto la compagnia di non so che insetto morto all'interno del lampadario sopra il letto il quale oltretutto indormibile perché cigolante ad ogni movimento. Unico lato positivo era il terrazzo con una vista accettabile.

El peor hotel en el que hemos estado en los últimos 30 años de viaje por Europa. Sucio, viejo, cutre a más no poder, mal mantenido y atendido. Si por mi fuera lo cerraría.... Mi esposa cree que soy suave en la crítica.

¿Cómo empezar si el 90% es malo? Para empezar llegamos y nos dan una habitación tercermundista toda llena de polvo, sucia por cada rincón que mirabas, en un bajo y con el ventanal de fácil acceso con el cerrojo roto, llamamos a la agencia y tardaron más de 1hora en pedir que nos cambiarán de habitación ya que recepción de Español ni de coña, tras tres horas de espera nos cambian a otra habitación está en un tercer piso sin ascensor, este al menos estaba limpio, televisión de los años 80 y con muebles de rastro. Íbamos a pensión completa y durante una semana el plato estrella del hotel era... Pollo asado, y no un pollo asado cualquiera sino pollo seco seco seco, ninguna variedad en el buffet, todos los días la misma comida, la pasta que había creo que estaba ya para hacer manualidades con ella, y para que hablar de las cenas... Bar del hotel súper caro. Aislados de todo durante una semana, en mitad de la nada, sin nada que ver sin nada a lo que ir todo el día dentro del hotel aguantando la calor del día y el frío invernal de por la noche, así que si veis esto no arriesgáis a ir aún viendo comentarios malos, eso nos pasó a nosotros.

Como complejo está bastante bien.esta limpió y es ideal para pasar unos días con los peques.los peros que yo le pongo es sobre la comida que tienen muy poquita variedad y además no indican nada en español.por lo demás la playa está cerquita y no muy saturada.

Alojamientos muy viejos y sin mantenimiento.

El peor alojamiento en el que he estado en ni vida con diferencia. Las fotos que publican en sus anuncios no son las del lugar. Indican que están en Albufeira y están a 23 minutos exactamente en coche. Indican que están a 50m de la playa y son 400/500m cuesta arriba. El edificio parece de un barrio marginal o un bloque abandonado, sin ascensor ni aire acondicionado, puertas de papel que casi no cierra bien, decoración de los años 30, higiene horrible y un buffet en el que no se puede comer. Nada recomendable.

Das Apartamentos Turisticos Algarve Gardens ist ein ziemlich Heruntergekommenen anlage ausserhalb vom Albufeira (etwa 10Km.entfernung) Es ist sehr schwer zu finden weil das Hotel sich in Olhos de Agua und nicht in Albufeira befindetDas Badezimmer befand sich in einem Unzumutbarem zustand mit viel Rost,Schimmel Staub und Haare.Die Küche war sehr spartan angerichtet und die Herdplatte kompett verrostetim Schlafzimmer befanden sich zwei Einzelbetten ein Schreibtisch ein Stuhl ein klein äusserlich kaputten Fehrsehn und eine mit weisse Flecken beschmutzen Sessel

war im Frühjahr da, dann relativ leer und Aufenthalt sehr angnehm und ruhig. Frühstückangebot sehr gut, Sportmöglichkeiten in den Hotelanlagen vorhanden.Preis-Leistungverhältnis nahezu unschlagbar.

Mitnutzung des Haupthotels war gut, Strand top.Leider war bei Buchung des Appartements kein Bezug zum Haupthotel und dessen Adresse vermerkt, deshalb fast nicht zu finden, erst mit Hilfe Taxifahrer, aber wer spricht schon Portugiesisch (außer uns...). Check In war im Haupthotel, also mußte man dort hin und Appartements lagen direkt nebenan....

Hi We hated the place that much we only stayed 1 night we handed the keys back the very next morning this is the worst place and the worst nights stay we have ever experienced, it was a block of noisy flats and not a apartment like the picture lead us to believe . Never never again it may have been low priced but we lost out as only bot the 1 night.

You get what you pay for. It wasnt clean, but it wasnt dirty. It can be loud in the mornings when you hear your neighbors moving about and having breakfast. If you are trying to nap in the afternoon and its time for the maids to clean the area, they are loud. It also was a non-smoking room, but smelled like my grandpas house and cigarettes - and there was an ashtray in the room as well. It was good enough for the purposes I needed it to serve!

We were in Algarve Gardens two weeks ago. Apartamen as clean and quiet. Room was cleaned every day. Most of the day we spend on the long Falesia beach. This is very good choice for peopel who want to just relax and rest. This is good value for money. I can recommend that place.

Stayed for 5 nights and generally happy. It really is nothing special and is very basic. The apartments sit 5 minutes walk from the main hotel which offers a few restaurants, bar pool etc. 20 minutes walk up the road is a little supermarket with other restaurants and bars. A little difficult to find if you dont know the area!
