Beautiful villa set in beautifull countryside .yet only a short distance to the sea . Highly recommend

I stayed at Casa Rupi in 2014 and it was fantastic. I then returned here a few weeks ago in August 2017 and the place has gone to rack and ruin. Same for us regarding the water supply. We had to get buckets of water from the pools so we could flush the toilets. Nobody could shower and the water man finally arrived after 7 long hot hours then left without priming the pump. Also left the man hole cover off the tank with a 15 feet drop into the tank. Not good with young children about. One of the children in our group suffered a very nasty wound to their foot after catching it on a protruding rusty nail on the rotten decking by the back pool. The two pools and Jacuzzi to the rear of the property could not be used for 3 days until the pool men arrived because they were dirty. The air conditioning in one room didn't work at all and in another bedroom was faulty and kept banging most of the night. The supposed New Fully Fitted Kitchen is not new at all. A dishwasher that doesn't work and only a few pots and pans to cook for 10 people. The lighting outside was faulty and when a man eventually turned up to fix it got a massive electric shock. They left a large halogen lamp so we could use the BBQ but turned up the following day and took the extension lead so we couldn't use it anyway. The upstairs balcony was scattered with broken glass and there were dirty plastic wine glasses strewn all over the place. The "games room" is non existent and is only used as a storage room. Don't worry about sun bathing on your front because you can't on the sun loungers provided. The other outside furniture was dirty and torn. A total waste of £5,000 and after numerous emails to the owner, she has stopped responding to them and actually had the audacity to say that "we" the paying customers had no idea how much it costs to run a villa. Well quite frankly, it is not our concern. We paid for a supposed 5* Luxury Villa and got a 1* uncared for place. Do not bother wasting your money on this place. Spend it elsewhere and enjoy yourselves.
