Nous sommes venus le 4mai pour mon anniversaire car la note était bonne.....quel anniversaire gâché ! Le serveur fumait dehors avec ses potes l'air de rien. Au calme plutôt que servir les clients (d'ailleurs certains sont partis car ils ne supportaient plus d'attendre). Il devait avoir trop fumer... Il ne comprenait plus l'anglais (ça peut arriver sur des mots) mais il ne comprenait plus non plus mon amie portugaise quand elle parlait...étrange. Résultat : les bières demandées n'étaient pas les bonnes (quand c'était des bieres... Car une fois une biere c'est transformé en vin rouge, alors que ça avait été demandé et en anglais et en portugais !).... Mis appart...Les boulettes sont excellentes, indéniablement très bonnes.... Mais les plats très moyens ! Le "gratin" mauvais que du fromage impossible de finir, le risotto d'accompagnement pour les autres plats réchauffé de longue date, quand à moi j'avais demandé et en français et en anglais et en portugais pour avoir des frites (frenchfries) mais j'ai eut des chips.... Eh bien.... Les boulettes étaient bonne, le guitariste trop bruyant... Le serveur imbu de sa personne.... A trop prendre les touristes pour des cons ont fini par tomber sur des gens qui vivent là....Le dîné était gâché. Heureusement qu'il n'y a pas que des arnaqueurs. Nous avons re-fêté mon anniversaire le lendemain.... Loin

Nous avions choisi ce restaurant grâce à sa très bonne note sur google maps et nous avons été déçus. A l'arrivée nous avons tout de suite remarqué qu'un chanteur/guitariste portugais allais agrémenter notre repas. Le problème est que, vu la taille minuscule du restaurant, le guitariste en question se trouvait à 50cm de notre table. La musique était sympathique, mais quand on ne peut plus se parler à table, c'est plus gênant qu'agréable. Ma bière bouteille commandée (33cl) est arrivée servie dans un verre de 25cl et sans la bouteille. J'ai dû insister pour qu'on me ramène la bouteille... et le reste de ma bière (très bonne d'ailleurs). Ensuite nous avons dû attendre 45mn entre la commande et l'arrivée des plats, ce qui est particulièrement long quand on ne peut pas trop se parler à cause de la musique. Les plats étaient plutôt bons, mais loin de valoir les presque 5 étoiles indiqués sur la fiche du restaurant. Mais le pire a été l'attitude du serveur, qui a fait déplacer 2 groupes en plein milieu de leur repas afin de faire de la place pour un groupe de 6 touristes impatients. De ce fait, les deux groupes en questions et nous même sommes partis sans prendre de desserts, je ne suis pas sûr que cela soit un bon calcul. Au bilan, la cuisine est peut être bonne, sans rien d'extraordinaire, mais le service et la gestion de la salle est à revoir.

Overall: (9/10). Great food with great service. 1) Octopus with garlic sauce, potatoes, chopped garlic, cilantro, green olives, and green spinach(?) - around a 3 octopus tentacles that were crunchy on the outside but smooth on the inside. Good and wasn't too chewy (as if it was from the freezer) but it didn't melt in the mouth. The potatoes were cooked well. Garlic sauce wasn't too overpowering and complimented well with the seafood and grilled potatoes. Presentation was well done. (Rating: 8/10). 2) Veal Steak - medium grilled steak with a large platter of rissota, two cherry tomatoes, and a side of green spinach(?). Rissota is the best I've ever had - had a kick of garlic with a blend of cheese and slices of small mushrooms. None of the flavors were overpowering each other. The steak was well seasoned and slightly tender. Overall, great dish and would buy again. (Rating: 9/10). 3) Duck Croquettes - Appetizer - around 6 pieces. Wasn't oily at all. Tasted great! Would order again. (Rating: 9/10). 4) Cheese Balls - Appetizer - around 6 pieces. Fresh from the oven and cheese pull in every bite. Wasn't oily at all. It tasted great at first but it started to get a little bland after awhile. (Rating: 8/10). 5) Clams - Appetizer - small 15 clams covered in garlic oil. It was a bit chewy and salty. Overall, it was okay. (Rating: 5/10). 6) Garlic Butter - Before the meal started, there was a bowl of soft bread with a small dish of garlic butter (that looked like blue cheese) and a small dish of olive purree. The garlic butter was SO addicting. (Rating: 9/10).

Very delicious meal. We found this spot randomly walking by and decided to look up reviews. Brazilian food was really good. We had the bread and butter (the dill butter was ), octopus salad ( really tender and juicy octopus concoction), cheese balls ( deep fried cheese balls), the grilled octopus (so tender and delicious), mixed rice( interesting fried rice mixed with thinly sliced fried. potatoes, shredded veal rice entree ( good flavor but veal was a little tough), roasted cod with potatoes ( lots of bones was a little tough). There was live guitarist. The staff was really friendly and the entire atmosphere was really good. Would definitely recommend this local eats.

Small place with great food from Brazil. The decor is minimal but the atmosphere is warm, helped by the live music often played. I recommend over most of the touristic places of the area.

This small restaurant is a superb place to eat . The owner is amazingly kind ! There is a menu at 8.5€ that contains a soup, the main dish, beverage (including beers !), and either a dessert or a coffee. No need to tell the quality/price ratio is unbeatable ! The food is copious and delicious ! Easy 5/5 !

Un lieu découvert au hasard d'une petite ruelle très sympathique. Leur poisson a été l'un de meilleurs que nous ayons mangé, c'était délicieux ! Great place to for the first time in Lisbon. A small variety of dishes and drinks, but everything I've ordered was just amazing. Beer was very nice and we were lucky to eat here while they had live music. Ordered something within low budget, but could not eat everything(because of the size). The place seemed to be popular for foreigners. Also the staff was friendly, very cheerful and warm.

I can only give this restaurant two stars as a courtesy to the waiter. As for the food, there is not much to say. A lot of effort but the result is not satisfying at all. I hope they can get better in the future.

This place was great. I am used to Brazilian Steakhouses in the US where it is all meat and no flavor. O Fatica was a good mix of meat, vegetables, beans, rice, and spices showing the diversity of Brazil. And they had a live musician playing jazz guitar. A wonderful evening.

Polecam też typowe portugalskie vinho verde. Antonio, który nas obsługiwał, nie tylko świetnie rekomendował dania, ale także atrakcje Lizbony. Polecam miejsce gorąco!!!

We go to this restaurant because i read a lot od positive comments in google. And everything was true and even more! The dishes was wonderfull, the best which we tasted in Portugal. The guy in restaurant ( Antonio) was very nice, helpfull and recommend us the best opptions. The atmosphere was amazing. We drank green vine ( vinho verde), octopus, steak and shrimps and special sweet cream like a dessert. We recommend it to everyone !!!! Of course with good price also and it was a big portions.

Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort und haben uns alle das Menü bestellt, was mit 8,50 sehr günstig ist und auch eine Suppe, Getränk und kleines Dessert bzw. Espresso enthält. Die Bestellung ist etwas kompliziert, weil man für den Hauptgang das Protein (Fleisch, Fisch) und 3 Beilagen von einer Auswahl aussuchen muss. Zudem gab es eine Sprachbarriere und ich habe anfangs nicht genau begriffen, wie man bestellen sollte. Trz muss man sagen, dass es sich letztendlich doch sehr gelohnt hat. Unser Essen war super und die Besitzer waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Mi primera vez en un brasileño, me gusto mucho todo. Platano frito, escondidinho de carne, arroz,.... todo rico. Me atendieron súper bien y con cariño. Hay menú también de 8,5€ . Lo recomiendo mucho, previo medio 10--13 €/persona.

Lissabon wie es leibt und lebt. Genau so stelle ich mir ein kleines, nettes Restaurant mit gutem Essen in einer Seitengasse abseits vom Massentourismus inkl. angenehmer Livemusik im Hintergrund vor. Im Prinzip genau das, nachdem die meisten bei ihren Städtetrips und Kulturerkundungsreisen suchen bzw. erleben und fühlen wollen. Wir hatten das Shrimpcurry, Steak und einen Salat zum teilen. Alle Speisen perfekt zubereitet und eine Gaumenfreude. Der Service ist auch top und super nett und zuvorkommend. Aber das beste ist das Ambiente inkl. der Livemusik. Zwischenzeitlich haben die anderen Gäste sogar mitgesungen, naja das war für uns auf portugiesisch leider nicht drin aber auch nicht schlimm. Das Restaurant können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Wir werden eventuell am letzten Urlaubstag nochmals dort einkehren und uns erneut verwöhnen lassen.

Chegamos ao restaurante e não havia lugares, agradecemos e fomos embora. Porém o atendente Antônio insistiu para aguardarmos, pois uma mesa logo ficaria vaga. Enquanto esperávamos do lado de fora o atendente veio conversar por duas vezes, sempre falando mal dos brasileiros e portugueses de Lisboa e ironizando os clientes que estava atendendo. O atendente Antônio, mesmo vendo que estávamos com uma criança de 4 anos com fome insistiu por DUAS vezes para que aguardarmos, portanto esperamos por cerca de TRINTA minutos. Quando a mesa finalmente vagou o atendente Antônio nos disse que havia chegado uma reserva pela internet e que não poderia nos atender. Importante mencionar que ele já estava servindo vinho a um casal que chegou depois de nós, portanto já sabia da reserva ou era apenas uma desculpa. Uma vergonha e uma desumanidade do atendente Antônio com uma família e especialmente uma criança pequena. Se não queria nos atender poderia apenas nos ter deixado ir ao invés de insistir por TRINTA minutos que ficássemos. Conduta inaceitável do atendente que ironizava e fazia piadas com seus clientes pelas costas. Ridículo, espero que tomem providências pois o restaurante parece ser bom e seus clientes não merecem ser tratados como lixo. *********************** We arrived at the restaurant, but there was no empty tables, so we thanked and went out. However, the waiter Antonio insisted for us to wait, because some people were leaving and soon there would be a free table. While we waited on the outside the waiter came to us two times to chat, always complaining about the customers and making fun of Brazilians and Portugueses from Lisbon. The waiter Antonio, even noticing we were with a 4 years old hungry child insisted TWICE that we waited. So we waited on the outside for about THIRTY minutes. When the clients finally asked for the check and left, the waiter Antonio told us there was a reservation from the internet, so he couldn't serve us. It's worth mentioning he was already serving wine outside for the couple that arrived after us, so he already knew about the reservation or used it just as an excuse. It was shameful and inhumane what the waiter Antonio did with a family and specially with a little hungry kid. If he didn't want to serve us he could just let us leave instead of insisting for THIRTY minutes on us staying and waiting. Also it was an inaceptable conduct from the waiter Antonio, who was being sarcastic and making fun of the clients on their backs. Ridiculous, I really hope you take action because the restaurant looks very nice and their clients do not deserve to be treated like garbage.

We read the reviews on this place and they were all good, so decided to try it. The service was good when we arrived, although there was a few issues because of the language difference. They brought out bread,hummus and butter when we sat down, which we have now learned most restaurants do and then add it to your bill. We ordered the mixed plate to share as a starter and we told the waiter we would decide after that what we wanted. The platter was ok, we didn't like everything on it. We then thought we would try their prawn dish. By this time a table of 5 had arrived, plus some people waiting outside. The waiter never came near us again. We waited, both wanting another drink and to order more food. In the end we decided we couldn't be bothered, so we asked him for the bill as he rushed by. We paid, he didn't bother asking if we enjoyed our food. Very disappointed.

We had the good fortune of this place catching our eyes when we were hungry. The food was excellent, it was so nice to have black beans Brazilian style and falofa. Add to that how much you got for such a low price, and we'll be back. Check it out.
