First good things; the staff are very friendly and the service is timely. The decoration is low-key chic and sublime. Now bad; every single dish we had was bad. I would have given two stars but the price is very decent for a hotel restaurant so three stars.

Mi primer impulso es darle tres estrellas porque había elegido este restaurante por las críticas en otra red social que no me advertía que estaba dentro de un hotel, o sea, o pertenece al hotel o comparte espacio. Fue un poco violento entrar y encontrarse con la recepción para luego que te indicaran que el restaurante estaba en el Hall del edificio. No había casi nadie cuando llegamos y, cuando nos fuimos solo, otras dos mesas estaban ocupadas y el restaurante tiene gran capacidad. Muy limpio, me gustó la decoración y la comida estaba buena pero lo encontré un tanto “desangelado”

Fui de propósito experimentar este restaurante. Tive um excelente serviço e uma excelente refeição. Couvert, Entrada, flut espumante, carne maturadas e um tinto do Douro. 40 euros. Gostei.

One of our favorites iN Lisbon. Not your typical hotel restaurant, but a true culinary ambassador of this great city and its local specialties. Welcoming, friendly service and lovely design on the plate and off. Highly recommended. And yes, Akla also offers a great burger!

Aproveitámos o Fork Fest para experimentar o Akla a um preço mais acessível, e não saímos desiludidos! Fomos super bem recebidos (atendimento impecável mesmo), e deram nos ótimas recomendações de tudo. O espaço é bastante intimista, a meia luz, e as opções da carta são bastante interessantes. Das várias cosas que pedimos, destacamos as vieiras para entrada e o risotto de abóbora (uma delícia e assim o mais diferente de tudo o que comemos). A esfera de limão para sobremesa estava óptima, e visualmente tem grande impacto. Os preços são um pouco elevados, mas vale a pena para ocasiões especiais e experimentar combinações diferentes de sabores.

Absolutely top-notch fine-dining cuisine, the culinary skill on show here was without fault. Unfortunately we did not feel like it was matched with the same level of service, which was at times clumsy, ineffective, and cold. Very comfortable surroundings however, and well-suited to the hotel.

We normally try not to visit our hotels restaurants and rather search for good restaurants in town. However, we gave it a chance yesterday. And the akla was really outstanding with perfectly friendly and professional service and great food. We definitely recommend visiting akla even if you do not stay at international.

The waiters were inattentive and rude. We waited 1h30 to be served and had to pour our own wine the whole dinner. Service is terrible and food does not make up for the bad service and price. Do not recommend.

Restaurante del Hotel Intercontinental de Lisboa . Servicio muy muy lento , con bastantes errores además. La carta no muy extensa , poco elaborada y con precio medio alto. Sinceramente , salvo por estar alojado en el hotel no se me ocurren muchas excusas por las que comer allí . Al menos a la carta . Sitio bastante pasado de moda , le hace falta un cambio .

Requintado e saboroso... Melhor sobremesa (bolo/torta de requeijão) que já provei.

WHAT TO TRY?! the steak and the lamb is really good here. Seared to just the temperature you want and presented very nicely on your plate. Their menus change every so often so I wouldn’t be surprised that they don’t have the items I ordered when you come here. Located inside the intercontinental hotel, I know each dish is carefully curated and presented to the guests. The salmon appetizers were fresh and light to eat. The desserts were plated very beautifully in a white plate. For dessert, I recommend the chocolate mousse or the ricotta cheese tart. Both were delicious! LAST TIP?! I wouldn’t order the citron panna cotta though. It tasted like citron mint cream and had peanut butter ice cream on the size and cream of figs in the middle. The dessert plate just had a lot going on in terms of flavors and didn’t taste good at all.

Food in some restaurants can be a little hit and miss, but you feel on safe ground with Intercontinental Hotels, and so I walked into AKLA in Lisbon with confidence. As you would expect from such an establishment, the service levels were of the highest standard. Eating on my own, I had quite an appetite, so I scoured the menu for something different for my palate. For starter, I chose the 6 oysters from the Ria Formosa and I can say that these were oysters from heaven. With this, I opted for the Clams Bulhao Pato Style and the two dishes worked perfectly together. Ready to get my fill of the food, as well as this restaurant that looked a million dollars, I went for the T-bone steak medium cooked. It was done just how I like it. Compliments to the chef! The food looked like a work of art as it arrived on my table, and it felt like a shame to break it up. But the taste was divine, and I would go back for more tomorrow. Looking to finish the dinner off with something sweet, I chose the Jasmine parfait with passion fruit ice cream and mango sorbet from the menu and hoped that it would taste as good as it sounded. It was even better! If you are ever in Lisbon, then this is the number one choice for a fine dining experience. The service, the food and the ambiance were all of the highest standard and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Foi tudo perfeito nesta ida ao AKLA. Um atendimento de classe , um equilíbrio perfeito entre a atenção e intromissão. O ceviche como entrada é imperdível , uma ópera para o paladar! Os pratos principais também eram de uma qualidade soberba. O espaço é de uma elegância extrema e sentimo-nos super confortáveis. Tudo isto por um preço (minimamente) razoável se for com desconto que é o caso.

O Akla é o restaurante do Hotel Intercontinental Lisboa, localizado junto do Parque Eduardo VII. Tal como o hotel, o espaço é magnifico, tudo aqui tem toques de luxo e distintos. A ementa tem como grande destaque as carnes feitas no forno Josper (uma combinação entre uma grelha e um forno numa só máquina). Acabei por comer: Entradas: - Ceviche de Atum de São Miguel (Espectacular, grande combinação de sabores e boa textura, adorei) - Tartaro de Vazia, cebola caramelizada, ovos de codorniz e maionese de anchovas (Gostei, mas uma dose extremamente minúscula para o preço. Nada que se Sobressaísse. ) Prato principal: - Entrecôte maturado (forno josper) com batata frita com sal de rio maior ( A grande desilusão da noite. Achei que a carne tinha qualidade, mas estava muito rija e dificil de comer. o sabor estava bom, mas complicada de comer, quando achei que fosse ser tenrinha. As batatas estavam muito boas.) Sobremesa: - Biscuit de Chocolate, mousse de Caramelo e Sorbet de Perâ (Boa textura, delicioso sabor a chocolate, e gelado bem fresquinho. Gostei) O serviço é um misto entre atrapalhação e simpatia. Fomos muito bem recebidos e encaminhados a uma optima mesa (tinhamos feito reserva). Durante o serviço foram por vezes demasiado presentes (chatos!) ou então atrapalhados. Outro senão é que eramos quase os únicos portugueses na sala, sendo que a maioria eram hospedes (Extrangeiros) do hotel. Resumindo, gostei do Akla, mas o que tinha mais espectativas foi onde saí mais desiludido. Pode ser que tenha tido azar. Recomendo com algumas reservas.

Attentive service. The tuna ceviche was scrumptious. Buttery tuna. Great textures. Yum! This is a casual restaurant located at the Intercontinental but the presentation and dishes were top notch.

Excellent service mais le rapport qualité prix est un peu exagéré car les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur de leurs descriptions: risotto peu consistant et proposé avec des ingrédients peu adaptés, tartare de boeuf en trop petite quantité. Mais le reste est satisfaisant.
