Fantastic little hotel. Extremely clean, very helpful and nice staff. Breakfast is great. Should try their sister restaurant too, tapas there is fantastic!Couldnt recommend it more highly!

In general, the room was nice. During my stay, staffs helped me a lot. They are so friendly. The breakfast is perfect! There is nothing I can talk about it. It is exceptional. Toiletries are so limited, so I recommend you to bring your own stuff. Roads are so steep, so please ready to walk.

Habe das Hotel wegen der Lage und den guten Bewertungen gebucht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Hotel liegt versteckt in der Altstadt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Unser Zimmer war ein Traum, mit zwei großen Fenster mit Blick zum Wasser. Das ganze Hotel hat seinen eigenen Charme.

首先要說的是，這家 Hltel 的員工非常親切且和善，絕對是給五顆星的！
I will give their staff 5 stars cause they are kind and friendly. Absolutely they also introduce the area and show me the map. It's really great and careful.
但是，有三點我還滿在乎的，這次總共住兩個晚上，第一個晚上是沒熱水的，我反應了，不過因為太晚了，所以是用電話告知服務人員，等到睡著，隔天早上醒來才發現他有打電話及寄 email 來，所以我早上才洗了澡。
第二點就是房間消毒藥水味有點重，亦或是其它味道、我不是那麼確定，但一進房間需要立即打開窗戶來讓空氣流通。
第三點就是浴室有大蟑螂，我快嚇死了…
不過我還是會推薦這間飯店，真的是因為櫃台人員太棒了！

Superbe séjour. Une ville magnifique et lemplacement de lhôtel idéal. Tout peut se faire à pied ou en tram (juste à côté de lhôtel). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Joao. Petit déjeuner copieux et frais. Belle chambre.Seul bémol, le passage dans le couloir, un peu bruyant par moment, suivant lheure.

Niedliches und verstecktes Hotel in einem ruhigen Teil des Ausgehviertels Bairro Alto in Lissabon. Kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants, aber zum Glück keine grölenden Partygänger direkt vor der Tür. Service und Ansprechbarkeit des Personals ganz hervorragend! Sehr leckeres Frühstück! Bett bequem und groß, Dusche etc. sauber und großzügig.

Although centrally located, the property cannot be reached by taxi or Uber. Its located on a very steep and narrow street that has traffic control poles at both ends, preventing all vehicles without a pass code button from entering. As a result, suitcases must be dragged about 100m up or down the steep street to an accessible street pickup point. Another issue occurred when a false fire alarm went off at 4AM. Because no property employees reside at hotel at night, the residents were left to figure whether the alarm was real and how to deal with the alarm. The alarm rang for about 30 minutes until an employee showed up to turn it off. This prolonged the alarm annoyance and in a real fire situation, could have jeopardized the residents safety.

Die zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage im Bairro Alto stellt nur den Taxifahrer vor Herausforderungen ... um Lissabon zu erkunden ist sie perfekt. Besonders genossen haben wir nach einem Tag auf den Beinen unser großzügiges Zimmer und die familiäre Atmosphäre ( mit Katze). Danke und gerne wieder!

A nice place to stay in the area although its on the edge of the actual Bairro Alto.. we enjoyed the fact that we had a tv, it was quiet, and had an air conditioner we could control. Negative aspects were that our shower drain was clogged and you had to lower the pressure to almost off so that it didn’t overflow, the bathroom had a faint smell of old urine that did not go away, the bed was also not comfortable and my wife hit her head on the triangular ceiling since our room was very small. The complimentary breakfast is pretty much a joke and if you do stay here I suggest taking the minute walk around the corner to “Dear Breakfast”. I would suggest looking around before booking here, although we loved the little “Bairro” it’s in and loved that it was close to all the great bars and restaurants, you might be able to find a better bang for your buck. All that said, the service was very good and they were able to help us get to know the public transportation, spots we should hit, as well as make reservations (which is a must).

Eine sehr gut geführte Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und modern. Die Mitarbeiter lieben ihre Arbeit, dass merkt man an der Freudlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Früstück wir mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Hotel en una casa antigua renovada con mucho detalle. El baño es muy completo y está todo muy limpio y la cama es comoda.
Hay restaurantes y bares de copas cerca, pero está en una calle tranquila. Por la calle de abajo pasan tranvías y autobuses y la parada está cerca.
El desayuno realmente excepcional y completo, zumo natural, huevos al gusto hechos al momento, diferentes panes, dulces, embutidos, fruta, cereales, múltiples variantes de café...
El personal muy amable y te ayudan en lo que pueden.
Sólo hay recepción hasta las 21h y nuestro vuelo llegaba más tarde, pero no nos pusieron ningún problema. Sólo tuvimos que ir a otro hotel que está a unos minutos andando, desde donde nos acompañaron para darnos las llaves de la habitación.

It was a nice cozy, lovely guesthouse. Staffs are very friendly and helpful especially Miko. Breakfast was really good. It’s close to transportations and very convenient. We highly recommend this place.

The hotel location is not far from Metro, about 15 minutes on walk. There are trams stations nearby and it is within walkable distance to main sightseeing places. The attitude of the staffs are quite nice and breakfast is delicious. The only issue that I would like to mention is my room faces atrium which doesn’t mention in online room types. I prefer to book a city view room with higher price if I have known it.

A perfectly located hotel with style that welcomed us to Lisbon beautifully and served as the perfect hotel for the visit. Breakfast is exquisite. The room had an amazing view of the sea, was quiet and dark when needed for sleep. But the best part of it all was the people working there who were simply amazing.

Heerlijk knus hotel met zeer aardig personeel. Ze doen er alles aan om je te ontzorgen. Goede ligging tov de tram (28) bus, metro of lopend naar het centrum. Het ontbij was erg gevarieerd en vers bereid iedere ochtend. Echt een aanrader.

Lisbon is an old city, and from the outside many buildings look in poor condition. Casa d Bairro is in an old part of town, but as soon as you walk in it’s charm is apparent. The rooms are very comfortable and bright. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff very friendly, helpful, and happy. Located close to the river front as well as many shopping, dining, and drinking options. It is located in a hilly area, may be difficult for some. We did all our touring on foot and found it do-able. Will definitely try to stay here again if we’re lucky enough to get back to Lisbon.

In der Pension ist alles in ordentlichem Zustand. Unser Zimmer hatte leider nur Ausblick gegen Betonwände im Innenhof, für 1-2 Nächte OK, bei dem Preis für längere Zeit nicht akzeptabel. Frühstück ist gut, Kaffee, Tee und div. Kuchen ganztägig (und in der Nacht) gratis verfügbar. Bioprodukte (Seife, Shampoo, Lotion etc.) runden das gute Gesamtbild positiv ab.

Im Hotel wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen umfangreiche Tipps. Schon im Vorfeld konnten wir einen Abholservice vom Flughafen bestellen. Unser Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und geräumig. Hotel liegt zentral, Innenstadt und Metro sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Super reichhaltiges Frühstück!

Our stay was excellent! Staff was exceptional and accommodated our last minute request for a rollaway bed. Lisbon was beautiful but get in shape for the hills! Daily breakfast and unlimited coffee was superb. Absolutely charming.

Casa do Bairro is a wonderful, welcoming and lovely place to stay. It is well-located, the breakfast is very good and the staff amazingly helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.

Love this place! The staff are amazing and give you so much knowledge and info on Lisbon. There is an amazing breakfast included in your stay! The rooms are beautiful and unique with very comfortable beds and pillows. The whole place is adorable! Great location. You get a voucher for a free drink at there restaurant down the Rd. The food and view there was amazing. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We loved it there! It was a very adorable, quaint place. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was lovely. The rooms were perfect for our needs. The only thing we didn’t love was the location was located in the middle of the hilliest part of Bairro alto so either direction you walk out the door you are either going down a steep hill or up a steep hill and cars cannot go down the street it is located on. Although the area is very nice and we felt very safe. Also, the place is a bit old and you hear a creaking sound when any one moves or takes a step. But despite those things, we absolutely loved it and would stay there again!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and the rooms were pleasant. The description did say it was in a pedestrian part of the city, and that the taxi could not come down the street, and therefore we had to walk a short ways to the hotel. However, it neglected to mention that the street is quite steep and cobblestone, and lugging suitcases up the street was difficult. Plus the hotel has stairs that you had to lug suitcases up and down. We found later that the taxis could come down the street ( I think if the hotel ordered the taxi for you ), and so the pick up from the hotel was easier. Nice rooms, good air conditioning (especially wonderful in the heat wave going on this July).

Recommended place for Lisboa. Cozy hotel, large and clean rooms. Bathroom has a heater, which I often even miss in 5* hotels. Staff very friendly, helps you and gives you advice. Good breakfast. Getting there is a little tricky. If you come by metro, I recommend from Cais Sodre, NOT Baixa Chiado. The latter is a little closer, but from Cais it's a flat route. But annoying to drag suitcase on cobblestone, thus recommend cab/Uber. In Uber you must set as destination either Rua da Boavista 188 or Rua da Fresca 10, then walk up a little bit. Otherwise, bus stop of 714 (Conde Barrio) is nearby (departs from Praca Figueira near metro/train station Rossio).

Bij aankomst werden we gastvrij ontvangen door Sophia. We kregen gelijk wat te drinken aangeboden met iets lekkers erbij.
wij hadden meteen de eerste kamer beneden. Deze was schoon en redelijk ruim. Ondanks dat de B&B midden in het centrum ligt, heb je geen last van geluid als het raam dicht is en de luiken ervoor zijn. We hebben dan ook heerlijk geslapen.
Het ontbijt is prima verzorgd.
Vanuit de B&B kun je makkelijk allerlei bezienswaardigheden bezoeken, het meeste kan ook gewoon te voet. Een beetje goed ter been zijn, is wel handig, want Lissabon kent veel steile straatjes.
Pluspunt is dat je altijd koffie en thee kunt pakken. Er staat ook een koelkast met wijn, bier en fris waar je tegen vergoeding iets uit mag halen.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette maison dhôtes. Le personnel est très accueillant, le petit déjeuner excellent, la chambre est élégante et très propre. Le seul bémol est linsonorisation de la pièce... Nous entendons parfaitement le parquet grincer dans le couloir et avons participé aux ébats amoureux de la chambre dà côté...Quant à la situation géographique, cet établissement est idéalement située!Très important, narrivez pas après 21heures, vous seront facturés 15 euros... Je vous précise que nous avons tourné en rond pendant très longtemps pour trouver cette Casa, lentrée est située à lopposé dela rue indiquée...

Exelent service, super helpfull staff and nice rooms.
A very central location with easy acsess to both the subway and boats if you wish to have a day at the beach.
The rooms are large, newly renovated and beautifully decorated.
I am extremely happy with my stay, and recommend the hotel to everybody!

Ganz tolles Hotel, liebes Personal, schöne Zimmer, nettes Soziales Frühstück. Die Dusche funktioniert eher delikat und es ist etwas hellhörig, aber nicht schlimm. Zimmer mit Blick Richtung Tejo buchen.

It's quite hard to get there - if you enjoy all the food, wine and pastry you have to take a brake while going up the hill . Place is lovely, extremely nice ambiance, friendly staff and really good breakfast

Very nice guesthouse with friendly staff, good standard rooms (beautiful artwork). Well insulated windows to get rid of street noise. Madrass was maybe a bit hard.
The breakfast was simple and very good with home made pastries.
The guesthouse is well located within relatively short distance of different tram routes.

Appartamenti al centro molto caratteristici, personale disponibile gentile e sempre sorridente. Dovendo partire alle 6:30 della mattina, ci hanno fatto trovare frutta, dolci e succhi da portare in viaggio. Da ritornare, è ad un passo dal palazzo del commercio, e il tram 28 ci si ferma davanti.

Mi experiencia es negativa, reserve con booking una habitación en este hotel en diciembre y lamentablemente no pude ir por un accidente de un familiar, como la tarifa era sin reembolso intente que otra persona fuera en mi lugar y no perder todas las noches reservadas pero fue imposible, el hotel cancelo y revendió el alojamiento. Ante una situación como un accidente hubiera agradecido mas flexibilidad para utilizar mi reserva pero lo increíble es ni siquiera te permitan utilizar el alojamiento con desayuno ya pagado, por otra persona y ante estas circunstancias. Ni si quiera se han molestado en contestar mi ultimo e-mail.

A lovely place with original artwork everywhere, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and a great location. Sofia and Alexandra were gracious, helpful and friendly. After a busy day in Lisbon, Casa do Bairro was a pleasure to come home to.

B&B parfaitement situé en plein coeur du Bairro Alto.Jolie petite chambre au style moderne et à lancienne.Propreté laissait un peu à désirer (poussière, quelques cheveux).Salle de bains confortable mais dont le bac a douche est fissuré avec pommeau de douche vétuste.Toutefois, lamabilité du personnel vous fait rapidement oublier ces quelques détails.

Tout y était impeccable: propreté, gentillesse, emplacement, petit déjeuner.A deux pas des Trams 28 et 25- 15 en bas pour aller Casa Pasteis De Belem: Le must,le fameux pastel/gâteau de Belém.Dîner au restaurant Monte Belvedere à ne pas manquer,vue formidable sur la terrase.Réceptionnistes aux petits soins, disponibles et charmants.Tout pour passer un agréable séjour.
