Nice ambiente good food and nice staff... vegetarian choices..the veggie tagine could be a bit more spicy we will go back...nice change to pasta or pizza being vegetarian..the lamb was very good.

As a Cascais resident, this remains one of my favorites. The food feels homemade, the flavors are perfect, the place is airy, the service is swift and pleasant, and the price is right. Don’t hesitate.

Food was very tasty & a good price. Service was friendly, but the slowest service ever. It took us over 45mins just to get a drink and a basket of bread!

it was the best food that we had in our holidays. The service and the food were excellent. We had the menu for 12€ and it was amazing. They brought us a table outside because the weather was so good. I would totally recommend this restaurant

Com cozinheira marroquina, o que serve neste restaurante é gastronomia marroquina autêntica e genuína. A tagine era cinco estrelas, como as melhores de Fez ou Meknes, o couscous do melhor que algum dia provei. Mais fraco foi a doçaria, descongelada no micro-ondas, a provar só residir a perfeição no céu.

Em noite calma os funcionários não fizeram questão de disfarçar que não viam a hora de ir embora. Pra piorar, só descobrimos que o restaurante não recebe cartão na hora de pagar a conta, pois não havia NENHUM aviso em nenhum lugar. Mas, tivemos que ouvir que havia um caixa automático 'ali pertinho' porque todo mundo sabe que é interesse da clientela proporcionar comodidade ao restaurante, não o oposto... Assim, a gente até esquece que a comida é boa!

What a surprise to find ... friendly host, the tajines are really superb, also enjoyed the mint ice cream and tea. If we were not leaving tomorrow, we'd come back for more.

I would give this restaurant a bad rating because the staff is completely confused and they don't have half the things on the menu.

Vandaag met twee personen gaan eten in dit restaurant.
Twee voorgerechtjes genomen zijnde kefta balletjes en gebakken sardientjes: subliem, heerlijk!
Als hoofdgerecht : tajine met lam en een tajine met kip met gekonfijte citroen. Beide heerlijke gerechten niet beter in Marokko kunnen eten. Daarbij lekkere Portugese wijn gedronken die volledig bij het gerecht paste.
Zeker een aanrader! Prijs/ kwaliteit : doen, als je tenminste openstaat voor deze keuken....
Een afwisseling voor de gewone Portugese keuken ....
Bediening was ook ok. Vriendelijk personeel.
Kortom : doen.

Já é a 3a vez que vou e continuo a gostar imenso. Entrada e tajine. Estivemos em Marrocos no verão e posso afirmar que os sabores são muito fiéis!!! Desta vez necessito acrescentar uma crítica que espero que se torne construtiva. Sempre simpáticos a aconselhar e no atendimento mas desta vez uma das funcionárias não tinha qualquer paciência e pouca simpatia. Tendo em conta que todos os outros são ótimos talvez dar outra função que se adapte melhor a esta jovem.
Continuo a recomendar e a pensar em voltar.

We walked by this restaurant and like the way it looked so after a walk we came back and had dinner. It’s a good choice if you like arab food. I specially recommend the kafta(meatballs), the samosa, and the beef couscous. Couldn’t get to the desserts cuz we got too full but would have liked to try their cheese cake. Would come back for sure.
By the way, the price is cheap compared to other restaurants in the main streets of the town and the service was great.

Found this restaurant by walking behind the main tourist area highly recommended chicken lemon and olive tangerine with side dishes of the meatballs and side salad one of the best meal we have had in cascais

Absolutely outstanding food. Best sardines I've ever had. Better than a nearby Michelin rated restaurant that we visited. Would come here before we go back there. Quite tasty and authentic. Just wonderful.

O staff é super simpático, a comida maravilhosa, as chamuças de queijo e hortelã eram tão boas que repetimos algumas vezes, também porque a chegada das tagines demorou, talvez por ser noite do dia dos namorados. Recomendo!

Te cobran 12€ por un tagine que esta insípido y el acompañante que eliges no es demasiado grande, en el menú se especifica que entra pan con mantequilla y se lo tienes que pedir para que te lo traigan.
No tienen café con leche.

Hemos comido con el menú de 12 euros y nos hemos llenado. La comida estaba buenísima y el restaurante, aunque es pequeño está muy bien decorado y limpio. Como pega diría que han tardado bastante en servir. No obstante, estaba muy rico todo.
Volvería.

We found this place by accident when the vegan restaurant, Dona Flor across the street was closed for lunch one day. We are so glad we did! We had a beautiful chickpea soup, hummus with pita bread and vegetable tagine. The flavors were outstanding. Unfortunately, the options for vegan food was limited, but definitely worth a visit since what they do offer that is vegan, is fantastic.

Unrecognisable from the other reviews. Completely dysfunctional when we arrived for lunch. We were ignored for ages having been invited to sit down. Food was nice when it came even though the order was wrong. Staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Our “bread and butter” cover consisted of a single pitta between 4. Only saving grace was they knocked 1 order off the bill. Couldn’t recommend.

Et oui au portugal on peux aussi sortir des habitudes et se regaler avec un coucous de qualité. Une semoule fine ,merguez, boeuf et volaille tout y est pour se regaler..2 eme fois et toujours pas déçu...a bientôt pour encore un petit plaisir gustatif.

Un excellent repas aux vraies saveurs marocaines. Des entrées aux desserts vous ne serez pas déçus! La cuisinière marocaine mérite d'être félicitée mille fois!!! Service très sympathique.

So happy that I found this place. Fabulous food (I had the lunch special.... Chicken Tagine in lemon sauce with olives). My meal was very very good!
I sat inside at a table by the window looking out at the cobblestone streets. It was so comfortable and so wonderful and the service was great!

Good tagines. Nice restaurant and frirndly friendly and kind staff.
Some things could be better. For example with tagines their should be real Moroccan bread served included. The couscous for 2 persons comes in a little bowl just not enough for 1 person. Couscous is a very cheap extra just like the rice. An 1 one minuut boil rice.
Those details could put this restaurant up.
Overall it was pretty good.

We went here because we were not in the mood for yet another burger with French fries. Food was very good. I had couscous with very soft, steamed vegetables, lamb and chicken. Both were tender, chicken fell right off the bone. There was a good atmosphere and it looked slightly classier than other restaurants in the neighboehood.

Nice tasty food. Starters & main menu good. We had Some food to share (chicken skewers, kefta, Bread etc) and Some rich tangine with couscous and potato’s. The staff works hard.. sometimes they are Too busy to give their clients the right attention. IT didn’t Bother us that much.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Ich empfehle den Hummus zur Vorspeise und die Tagine mit Beef und Pflaumen, dazu CousCous als Hauptgericht. Auch die vegetarische Variante ist sehr lecker.
Der Service könnte noch besser laufen (lange Wartezeiten bis jemand kommt, keine Nachfrage ob man noch etwas trinken möchte)... eigentlich eher eine Gesamtwertung von 4 Sternen. Aber ich hoffe wir haben nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt.

Comida típica marroquina de elevada qualidade. Recomendo. Servido em loiça tradicional e musica ambiente,suave e condizente. Uma refeiçao que recomendo por ser diferente e nos transportar para Marrakesh.

We had extraordinary service at KECH the night before last...the woman at the front was so sweet to our twin 1 year old boys who were not the most quiet. A+ service, 5 star food. Get the chicken tangine, and the meatball kofta appy.

Located at quiet street but really not far from crowdy turist locations. We've stopped by chance and had tagine with chicken and tagine with salmon. It was very tasty and satisfying. Service was very kind.

I did not read the other reviews, but our experience at Kech tonight was fantastic. We started with the fried sardines, then chicken pastries and beef kabobs, finishing with an awsome vegetarian cooscus. Service was the best, food was 5 star. Why doesn't Google list this place when you look for restaurants?

Domingo, último dia de Lumina, após várias tentativas goradas noutros locais acabámos por entrar neste Kech com o intuito de petiscar.
Limitámo-nos às entradas, das quais pedimos 4 - hummus, bissara, briouat de queijo e sardinhas m'chermel. Hummus muito bom e briouat tão bom que repetimos. Já os outros dois não deixaram saudades.
Atendimento simpático em espaço confortável.
É possível que voltemos num destes sábados para provar os pratos fortes e ver a dança do ventre.

Buscando un restaurante italiano, que, por cierto, no encontramos, tropezamos con este sitio. No entramos, pero lo "fichamos". Al día siguiente fuimos a cenar allí.
Empezaré por los dos únicos "peros" que se le pueden poner al sitio: la música está un poco alta. No llega a ser estridente, pero si es demasiado presente. Y los camareros son un tanto secos en la atención. Para nada maleducados, sencillamente secos. Por lo demás: eficientes y rápidos.
La comida: fantástica y generosa... es un reto acabarse todo lo que te ponen delante.
Pedimos un tagine de pescado y legumbres y un couscous de pollo. Y los dos era inmensos... el problema es que estaba todo tan bueno que hubo que hacer un ejercicio de voluntad para no seguir comiendo a riesgo de acabar empachados por la cantidad.
Era como haber vuelto a Marruecos. Tanto en lo olores como en los sabores. Una maravilla si te gusta este tipo de cocina.
Una apuesta que salió más que bien. Totalmente recomendable.

This place had slow service, the employees seemed a bit too unorganized.
Me and my girlfriend orderd:
Starters/tapas
Mint and cheese pastery - nice and tasty
Eggplant with bread - bread was good
Hummus with bread - smooth and ok taste
Main course
Fish tangine - Good, spicy, wouldnt change
Couscous with vegetables, raisens and carmalized onion, chickpeas (and a nut?) - Horrible. Everything was just boiled and salted. Not enough raisens and one nut on the plate. There was no spices and no love to this dish. Something you could expect in a school cafeteria and certainly not worth 10€.

By far the best food in Cascais! The lamb tagine, the pastilla and the best cheesecake I've had in Portugal. Excellent service too. Will be back for sure!
