Simpatia do colaborador.

They serve delicious vegan food with excellent hospitality. Generous portions of food prepared and served with great authenticity. The owners are 5 stars. Thank you, Zakir.

This is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. I have been vegan for 5 years and I was vegetarian for 15 years before that. I rarely go to restaurants that serve meat. However, I had heard wonderful things about Museu Da Comida from a vegetarian friend, so decided to make an exception. I am so pleased that I did! I was spoilt for choice. The clearly labelled menu has 2 vegan-option starters and 7 vegan-option main dishes, and an extra main dish option for vegetarians. On my first visit, I had the Chickpea Masala, and on my second visit (I went back the following day as the food and service had been so good) I had the Spinach Sweet Potato Lentil Dal. Both dishes were served with salad and perfectly cooked rice, and were well-garnished with fresh herbs, crunchy seeds, and lemon slices. The food is delicious and healthy. Everything is cooked to order. The food may take a little longer to arrive, compared to fast-food options, however, you can really taste the difference. The fresh flavours are out of this world! The service is also impeccable. It's a real pleasure to eat at this family-run restaurant, where the owners treat you like a guest not just another customer. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Must try menu serve in this friendly family run restaurant, with excellent fusion of Portuguese, Indian and Bangladeshi traditional curries. Vegan options are available as well. Freshly cooked curries was prepared for us while we waited, and you can definitely taste the freshness in the food. Great location with excellent food and warm hosting had given us a nice dine out experience. We would love to visit it again.

My wife and i visited twice in a week, as the food was so good. Having lived in Portugal for 13 years, and sampled Asian and Indian restaurants all over the country, I cannot recommend the Museo da Comida enough. Twice in three days, I ate simply the best curries I have tasted in Portugal. Well done to Zakir, the owner, for his wonderful hospitality, and to his wife, who is a talented chef and uses a lot of fresh spices in the food. We will return whenever we are in Lisbon, and will tell everyone we know to eat there when they are visiting the Gulbenkian Museum across the road.

This is a family run restaurant opposite of the Famous Gulbenkian where you can eat a variety of Traditional; Curries and Vegetarian dishes; they also cater for Vegans. As they freshly cook all their dishes; they can also cater according to your dietary need. It has a great atmosphere; excellent service and amazing food at extremely reasonable prices. We were recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed at all with the service and quality of their food; highly recommended for lunch and dinner.

I went there due to the recomendations. I was the only one there whereas all the restaurants closeby were full of people. I ordered a menu for 9.80€. The food was quite good and the service friendly, but at the end I had to pay extra for the olives and the fish pate in plastic cups I got before which I did not order! Usually the food as apetitizer is free! So I payed 12.80€ (3 euros extra). If you are in thiat district, you can find better locations!

We had a great experience at Museu da Comida. It is a family owned restaurant and the owners were so nice and welcoming! The food was very unique and tasty. It was like a different take of traditional Portuguese. I will definitely go back whenever I visit Lisbon. It is now our favorite restaurant there.

Love this restaurant, great choice of food from the menu with daily specials. I love a good curry and you won't be disappointed, definitely try the salmon or butter chicken. Food can be adjusted to your spice requirements or made vegan, as it's freshly cooked. So don't be afraid to ask they will be happy to help. If it seems busier at lunchtime than in the evenings, this is because local worker go out for lunch instead of dinner. Wages in Portugal are low but employees have to provide a daily lunch allowance, so everyone eats their main meal during the day. Credit cards are excepted, even foreign ones. Such a relief not to have to find a ATM on the way out for dinner. Other local restaurant only except cash or Portuguese debit cards. Free parking after 7pm, and it's ok to park by the park wall as well. The owners have not been here very long but, with the amount of hotels in this area I am sure this is going to very busy in the evenings when the word gets out.

We are very blessed to have met Zakir and Munmun. The Bangladesh menu is a hit. We had a group of 19 for dinner. There where a lot of favorites. The salmon curry was at the top of the favorites. Full of flavor and spices, not spicy hot. But the Samosa are my favorite — crunchy, spicy goodness. I love the rice! It was also crunchy and cooked perfectly. The Mango mouse is stellar and extremely mango-y. A must!!!!!

We just experienced our second visit to Museu da Comida and have been impressed with the food and service both times. The first time, we went away lunch and had traditionally prepared Portuguese food. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The curry yummy and the mango mousse absolutely to die for (and healthy). The service excellent and friendly. The second visit, we went with a large group of friends, which does have its advantages since we were able to try quite a few different dishes. The Indian/Bangladeshi butter chicken, salmon curry, and other dishes were freaking amazing. Even the rice was cooked just right. The wine is very reasonably priced and don't forget to try the rice pudding. YUMMY. Once again the service and atmosphere was excellent. If you want fresh, perfectly cooked food, friendly service and reasonable prices, you have to try Museu da Comida.

Had a lovely dinner of Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine with a group of friends at this restaurant opposite the Gulbenkian park. Nice samosa to start, flavourful, tender butter chicken; delicious salmon curry, matar paneer (home-made paneer too), takhar dahl, vegetable curry, fluffy rice. Traditional Indian firni for desert. They have daily specials of traditional curries and vegetarian dishes, as well as Portuguese classics like Bacalhau. Recommend.

We had an fabulous dinner at this lovely little restaurant. I had the special (just so happened it was my all time favourite, so it had a lot to live up to) Turned out it was the best Butter Chicken i have ever had. Great hosts, they were more that happy to tweak their vegetarian dishes to vegan. Fabulous food, good wine and sensible prices. Definitely recommend and we will be going back.

Unauthentic and overpriced. We asked for the kids menu for our 3 year old, when I tasted the steak I found the sauce had coffee in it! Which the staff then confirmed... Our dishes were average and cost about 1.5x the regular price for this sort of food. One positive was the waiter was very attentive. For a restaurant whose tagline is traditional Portuguese food I was surprised that there was not a Portuguese speaker to be found among staff.

Menu permanente variado e pratos do dia.
