This is a genuinely tasty Indian restaurant which offers great varieties of food from vegetarian to fish, seafood. meat and chicken dishes. It offers various levels of spicy-ness. The service is friendly and smooth. It is good for a budget stop if you are spending a day in Cascais and you don’t want to indulge in traditional Portuguese cuisine.

Thank you for a good grilled lamb. Rise with eggs were also tasty. I would give 4.5 stars, and because of size of portion and democratic cost - 5 stars. Thanks. P.s. Totally for 2+1 - 25eur small bear and glass of wine included.

Por ser um domingo e ser mais movimentado, o atendimento foi bom. A comida muito gostosa. Um pouco demorado para chegar a comida, mas valeu a pena a espera. Excelente experiência em restaurante indiano em Cascais.

After going inside at 4pm whe received a card with different prices from the card outside (dinner card) When I went out the check the prices, the suddenly gave us (me and two friends) the lunch card. New tourist-guests all got the more expensive dinner card -
!!!tourist trap!!!! Food was delicious though and prices justified.

Este restaurante é um dos melhores indianos da capital. Fortes sabores da India que podem ser mais ou menos picantes conforme o gosto do cliente. O espaço está bem decorado fugindo ao registo indiano, sendo mais contemporâneo e apenas com alguns apontamentos. Muito bom, confortável e espaçoso onde se pode partilhar uma optima refeição.

Bester Inder, bei dem ich bisher gewesen bin. Portionen sind sehr groß, werden direkt frisch zubereitet. Preis Leistung auch sehr gut und am Fenster sitzen ist toll. Mango Chicken War sehr lecker. Extra Brot hätten wir nicht gebraucht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Apesar de ser o restaurante indiano menos badalado na tão famosa Rua direita em Cascais onde a concorrência é forte, é aquele restaurante que ainda não decepcionou muito, a qualidade é boa, atendimento e espaço agradável, visito com regularidade e a relação qualidade/preço é boa.

Okay, so I don't generally recommend you get Indian food while you are in Portugal, when you can try Portuguese things instead.
But this was really excellent Indian food, so honestly it may be worth it.
Also, the manager was kind enough to give the wifi password.

We have eaten here several times and the welcome has always been warm, and the food and service excellent. Two separate menus to choose from, one a la carte and the other with a set plate of curry or grilled meat, rice and salad. Outstanding value for money and quality. Our 'go to' place for good Indian food. Air conditioned in summer.

Two visits made in the first week of September. Food is excellent. We ate Bombay Aloo, Chicken Xacuti, Chicken Karaih, Chicken Balti, Naan Bread, Rice. All perfect. All staff speak English and Portuguese. Tudo Otimo, totalmente recomendado.

We only discovered this restaurant towards the end of our holiday & made a point of going back last night, we flew home today. This is not just the best Indian food in Cascais (we had 2 previous disasters), its the best Indian food I've ever had anywhere. The place is fresh & clean, the staff are lovely & the food is to die for. Try their lamb korma & their pashwari nan is perfection.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Lisbon. Easily accessed with the train from Cais do sodre. Everything we ordered was perfect and extremely fresh. Waiters were also very nice, however their portuguese was not the best, but if you are reading this it should be no problem for you.
Clear recommendation goes to the coconut and almond naans and the crispy samosas. We had chicken cream and lamb korma and was also good, but that Naan was the star of the party. Shame I did not take pictures.

每一個份量很多，也很便宜，建議每份2人一起吃，不然會很膩，我們每人一人點一份，最後都吃不下，浪費錢和食物，印度餅好吃，飯不推薦，飯我們台灣人七個人點四碗，大家吃很痛苦。還有不推薦乳酪辣椒。

After sitting down I could hear one of the waiter’s coughing like mad, I turned to see and to my disbelief he wasn’t covering his mouth. He was coughing all over the drinks, then he came to our table with a dripping nose, at this point we left before ordering . One of the other waiters was serving still wearing his leather bomber jacket hahaha.

Quite the best Indian Restaurant I have been to in Portugal. As a party of 6 we tried a variety of dishes - chicken, lamb, prawn - all of which were liked by everyone. The sauces for all dishes were well prepared, extremely tasty and true to the indigenous regions. The onion bhajis and Garlic Naan were other highlights. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended.

Restaurante indiano, em Cascais. Sim, em regra, quando se visita o país, se opta por procurar restaurantes que sejam típicos daquele país, de modo a conhecer melhor o próprio lugar por sua culinária, ponto de riqueza cultural, quase que como regra. Todavia, estava frio, e o aroma do Curri nos chamou a atenção, e acabamos por conhecer tal restaurante. Os pratos que pedimentos estavam bem saborosos, e o atendimento foi bom.

All together, from service to presentation, to taste, it is the BEST Indian food I ever had. You really feel you are in a French restaurant. Prices are beyond reasonable, I would say very very reasonable. Chicken tikka masala and creamy tomato soup were great!

Reasonable food with the WORST possible service in town: in an empty rainy night we were 'greeted' at 9:30 pm with a warning that the kitchen would close in an hour because it was raining. To make things worse, we ate with the waiters by our side, asking if we had finished every 30 seconds and even pulling our plates away before we finished - as if they were not getting paid just because it was raining. Rude and utterly unprofessional. I will neither get back or bring someone along with me.

The day 1 at the restaurant, the food was spectacular. Very authentic Indian food. We were so happy that we also gave them a tip of 10 euros as against the usual 10%. we decided to go again for dinner on the next day with a couple of friends from Britain. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed as the food was average.

Me encantó.......La comida estupenda, el local un poco pequeño las mesas muy juntas pero vale la pena, estuvimos en una de las mesas que da a la ventana y con el calor de hoy se estaba fresquito. La verdad es que los camareros correctos, muy parcos en palabras pero creo que quizás sea porque no conocían el español. A pesar de estar lleno no tardaron en servir, la carta muy completa.....y las cantidades abundantes, no me pareció nada caro. Repetiría una y mil veces si no fuera porque vivo a uos 600 kilometros

Espaço bem decorado, e c bom espaço de mesas, preços dentro do normal por pessoa. Pão de alho não é nada especial mesmo, muita massa e pouco conteúdo (parece pão pré congelado), a sangria branca não é nada especial, aceitável para o preço. As doses dos pratos são bem servidas, com boa qualidade e notam-se bem as especiarias características da comida indiana. Preço para 2pessoas c sangria na casa dos 30€.

Very nice restaurant with good Indian food. Besides the delicious dishes, its location is also great - right in the center of Cascais. Try the Indian bread and the lamb with coconut milk spicy sauce (it may sound strange if you are not familiar to Indian food but it's delicious).

This restaurant is the first India food I try, it was incredibly delicious, and the price is not very expensive, is reasonable!! And I love the one I order, is something like lamb curry? It was soooooo good!! I will never ever forget about that! And they also have vegetarian food, and my friend also love it!

Le Gandhi Palace propose un large choix de plats indiens très savoureux et généreusement garnis à un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Modéremment pimentées, les spécialités ravieront également les végétariens. Le service est rapide et efficace, et l'attente réduite. Une trés bonne adresse pour les amateurs de cuisine indienne simple et sans artifice.

Lovely place to sit near the long open window and view the tourists bustling by on the pedestrian-only street in the heart of Cascais. Inexpensive and delicious, for dinner we had chicken masala, saag paneer, garlic naan, and two glasses of a crisp vinho verde for a total of 27 euros . That may sound a tad more than 'inexpensive' to some, but the quality of the food, service and setting made it a bargain to us.

Appalling experience. Booked table at 8.30. Arrived and no table. Told to come back in 10 minutes. Did, no table. Told to come back in 10.minutes. Did so and when came back had given away our table of 7 people. No apology or anything. Went and waited at the Masala up the road and had brilliant service. My brother and family live here so less than happy with the Ghandi Palace.
