Very lovely little restaurant, nice staff and absolutely delicious food. The octopus is AMAZING and the sangria was a perfect addition, best I've had. Two of us had a main reach, one starter .5L sangria and beer for 45 euro. Good value I think, it was great

Toevallig gespot in een klein steegje.
De kaart is niet uitgebreid maar verkiezen liever een beperkte kaart met topgerechten dan een overvolle kaart met weinig kwaliteit. Vriendelijke eigenaars aangetroffen binnen en meteen een reservatie gemaakt.
Met 5p. zeer lekkere tapas gegeten met een hoofdgerecht en dessert en koffie aansluitend. De chef en bediening ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ waardig.

El local ofrece un ambiente muy íntimo y con una terraza situada en una calle muy tranquila del barrio de Alfama, aunque quizá falta un poco de luz en las mesas. Plato estrella el bacalao con nata y el pulpo. La tarta de chocolate tiene una textura deliciosa.

Highly recommended!! It's a hidden jewel in Alfama neighborhood that I discovered by chance. If you visit this neighborhood, the pantheon or the flea market, you should come here.
Food was very special, well presented and tasty. The service was excellent.

Delicious food, served in a comfy and cute little restaurant. The portions are fair and service was quick and precise. Lack of large water bottles was a negative element, as well as the generic pop playlist that kept returning to the same three artists. I highly recommend the pork belly and chocolate cake, as well as the white wine of the house.

The portions were extremely tiny, prices were high. Staff was extremely rude by not acknowledging our criticism whatsoever, but just turning away from the table. If you're hungry or expecting professional service, look elsewhere. Too bad, because the dishes were actually quite tasty.

We quite literally stumbled across this place while walking up one of the many hills in Alfama. And we are so thankful we did. The service was fantastic, informative, warm and funny.
We had the delicious farinheria and linguica sausage dishes as well as prawns in a garlic sauce with bread. All washed down with a couple of portotonics sat in the sunshine. The perfect last meal of our trip to Lisbon. We will be back!

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo prenotato questo locale, quasi casualmente ,tramite " the fork". Cibo molto buono, atmosfera intima, padrone di casa dall'aspetto burbero ma molto propositivo. Buona anche la Sangria ed il dolce. Spesa con lo sconto "the fork" meno di 20 euro a testa con 2 antipasti, 2 secondi, dolce da dividere, Sangria e acqua. Vivamente consigliato!!!

Wonderful food and even more wonderful people. This place is tucked away in the tiny streets of Alfama and was a great stop for a late lunch.
I ordered the Codfish w/ cream and even though it didn’t look like too much, I was beyond stuffed afterwards. If you pass by, go here!!

Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati a mangiare un Lunedì sera di dicembre. Posto piccolo ed accogliente, curato come un salotto di casa. La mia morosa è celiaca ed ho apprezzato l'attenzione dello staff per la cosa. Abbiamo mangiato una zuppa di pesce come antipasto, decisamente la portata più invitante dell'intera cena! Come primo del polpo e del baccalà; per questi ho apprezzato il fatto che i piatti non fossero così sofisticati ed hanno risaltano la freschezza del prodotto! Nota un po' negativa le dimensioni della portata che io credo non adeguate al prezzo. Come dessert una torta al cioccolato eccezionale e per vino del vino verde della casa (decisamente di qualità non adeguata al prezzo). In definitiva l'abbiamo valutata un'ottima esperienza, anche se i 58 euro in due di 2 antipasti, due primi, 1 dolce, 1 caffè e del pane evidenziano come i costi di Lisbona si stanno adattando allo standard europeo

Hidden in the winding roads of Alfama, this is a essential place to visit. Tapas are delicious and straight forward.

Kann man sehr empfehlen klein gemütlich. Service sehr nett und vorallem gehen einem die Kellner nicht gleich auf die Nerven sondern lassen einen selbst entscheiden ob man essen möchte. Sehr schnell wir mussten keine 10 min aufs essen warten. Essen ist sehr gut zu günstigen Preisen.

It is a charming restaurant with kind service and mostly delicious food. We ate salmon, octopus and tapas and except the codfish which would have been better with more sauce, they were super great. The wine was average but the chocolate cakes made up for this. The guy who served us was very kind and spoke English well.

Local pequeño pero muy acogedor, el personal en general muy atentos y agradables, mención aparte a Joao, un encanto.

The best meal we have had in Portugal. Burger was great, but so were the cod with cream, eggplant and pork steak. Ambiance & location were excellent! Staff gave good explications of the food, were friendly and fun.

La decoración de este local es especial, se nota que han cuidado hasta el último detalle. Absolutely delicious! Stumbled across this place for lunch. It had the meal we were looking for: codfish with cream. We also got the octopus salad and the sardines on toast with mint sauce. All of it was fantastic.

Very nice and decent place, a little bit away from the main tourist flow. I had a delishious codfish menu, and both food and atmosphere were very pleasant. The restaurant is small and seems to be family-operated, so very personal. Nothing more to say - I'd come back. :-)

評価がとても高く期待してお昼に行ったのですが、出てきたものは下処理が雑にされ、塩もまばらで何とも言えない焼き加減のサーロインステーキ…またもう一品タコのパスタの方も頼みましたが、明らかに茹ですぎたパスタに加え調和されていない味付け、肝心なタコはしおれていて明らかに下処理がされていないように感じました…トリップアドバイザーの方でも言及されていましたが、違うシェフの方が厨房に入っている時は酷いみたいです…高い値段を払って当たり外れのあるお店に行く理由はないと思います

Muy buena comida. Con la oferta del 30% de El Tenedor la relación calidad precio es fantástica. Local bastante pequeño, con unas 10 mesas. Si te toca un grupo al lado (cómo nos pasó a nosotros) puede ser algo ruidoso y perder parte del encanto. El polbo a lagareiro y el bacalao con broa son un acierto seguro.

Ottima osteria di quartiere, il personale informale e cordiale ti fa sentire subito a casa.
Il polpo con patate al forno era semplicemente delizioso, morbido al punto giusto e ben grigliato.
Perfetto per un pranzo al sole, seduto a uno dei tavoli in terrazza con in sottofondo canzoni di Bon Marley.
Da non perdere.

Ristorante molto piccolo nel quartiere Alfama (un pò fuori mano, ma la passeggiata è piacevole e tutto dipende dalla zona in cui si soggiorna). Conduzione semi familiare in un locale accogliente ed informale. Qui abbiamo mangiato il miglior polpo di tutto il Portogallo ed una torta di Baccalà fantastica. Buona la scelta dei vini ed ottimi anche i dolci fatti rigorosamente in casa. Vivamente consigliato per uscire dai posti eccessivamente turistici o eccessivamente spartani (come per le taverne portoghesi). Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, anche se superiore alla media portoghese (ma la cucina merita decisamente)

둘이서 31.75유로 [슈퍼복 작은거1잔, 샹그리아 1잔. 문어파스타, 대구 그라탕] 양이 작아보이지만 은근 많음. 문어파스타에 문어 가득, 올리브오일 베이스에 짜지 않은 무난한 맛. 감자 위에 대구 살과 식빵 부스러기를 통째로 오븐에 구운 요리.
생각보다 괜찮았던 맛. 안먹어본 포르투갈 디쉬.
다만 널널한 손님상황이지만 30분 걸려 나온 조리 속도는 조금 아쉬움.

Ottimo il baccalà, le tapas, il vino, il personale è disponibile, attento e sempre presente al tavolo nel momento del bisogno.

Our landlady recommended this place. It looks nice - love the decor but food is pretty average. Nothing special about the octopus - we had many better ones elsewhere. Grilled prawns overcooked. Nothing we had was memorable. Service slow and indifferent, e.g. took a long time for the empty glasses to be removed and the place was empty. Won't go again.

Service très au dessus de la moyenne, hyper agréable. Niveau plats, on a pris des petites entrées. Vraiment pas cher et super bon, je recommande le gaspacho. En plat une salade (qui était excellente, très fraîche) et le poulpe qui était vraiment à tomber : servi entier dans l'assiette, parfaitement grillé. Portions hyper généreuses, pour un prix plus que correct. Il faut tester.

Nous avons été reçus comme des rois.
Les plats sont cuisinés devant nous, ce qui nous donne une entière confiance de la préparation maison, de plus ils sont excellents.
Je vous le recommande chaleureusement.
Un conseil, vaut mieux réserver car très peu de couverts. Environ une vingtaine.

This place is verry cozy for a dinner in two, the food is really good, i had octopus salad, and i must say is one of the best salads from the entire Alfama neighbourhood. I had also as first dish some sardines with a special dressing (pesto with mint, interesting taste) but it was to much, i wasn’t able to finish the salad after. Also the cod dish with potatoes is really nice. The only thing i disliked was the view outside, it’s near some trash cans and a parking place. Overall i recomand this place for the food, and a seat inside the place.

Local small family restaurant in middle of oldest part of Lisbon - Alfama. Traditional Portughese cuisine - for example: best seafood - grilled octopus and grilled shrimps, squides and vegetable on stick... I can't do other way than recommend.

Perfecto para celíacos y no celiacos. Muy buen trato , camarero muy amable. La terraza es perfecta para reposar a la sombra. Comida aceptable , algo subida de precio pero rica.
Los postres impresionantes, bolo de chocolate y mousse de lima son los que tomamos y estaban deliciosos.

Lo descubrimos de casualidad paseando por Alfama. Menudo descubrimiento! El pulpo es lo mejor que he comido en años. Recomiendo muy fuertemente el Polvo. El camarero súper amable (estábamos solos) y nos recomendó unos postres también buenísimos.
El queso de cabra al horno también genial.
Un 10! Quiero volver a Lisboa sólo por el plato de pulpo. No exagero!

One of the best restaurants we had dinner at during our stay in Lisbon. The amazing host made us feel welcome immediately by his personal and informal approach. The menu contains dishes that are not regular, which makes it fun to try new stuff. Very good quality of the food. I would definitely come back on another visit to Lisbon.

Le recensioni mi avevano illuso. Amante del polpo e avendone mangiati altri quattro in Portogallo pensavo di trovare il top. Purtroppo non e stato così. Il piatto bollente ha giustificato un riscaldamento di polpo precotto fatto in modo poco corretto. Ne è risultato un pesce con evidenti segni di bruciature e ovviamente ha compromesso la morbidezza usuale del polpo. C'è nn a parzialmente bilanciata da un buon vino verde e un buon caffè. Il conto per due polpi, una bottiglia di vino verde e due caffè:poco più di 49 €. A Lisbona ho mangiato molto meglio a molto meno.

The owner is the nicest I met in lisbon, he gave us directions and advice on the places to go...
I can honestly say I never tried better shrimps... the ones with the garlic sauce... I could say they are the best in town but I would be lying... they are probably the best on the continent!!
This place is one of those that makes lisbon so enjoyable...

Best octopus I've ever had. I would never order pork fat otherwise, but theirs was delicious, soaked in honey and baked, a delicacy. The owner, Juau, was so funny and kind. Away from all the crowds, tucked away in a cozy corner. We had a really wonderful time here, would highly recommend.

Et comme les avis étaient plutôt chaleureux, on y est retournées pour dîner. Et nous avons bien fait!! Accueil des plus chaleureux, et les plats copieux et excellents ! Je confirme, le poulpe est SUBLIMISSIME!! Les travers de porc moelleux à souhait!! Et même le pain est délicieux : huilé et aillé juste comme il faut avec la pâte d'olive !! Le gâteau fondant au chocolat délicieux, bref, tout était parfait!! Et encore une fois, c'est la gentillesse du serveur qui nous a charmées, vraiment!! Allez-y les yeux fermés !!

YES - worth 6 stars :-). So far the best place to eat in Lissabon, Tapas were great, Sangria was great, the desserts were also great and especially the chocolate cake was the best in our lives. The atmosphere is really nice, staff as well, „normal“ background music - you should definitely give it a try!

Sitio acogedor. El servicio muy amable y siempre atentos. Probé los platos de pescado y estaba todo muy bueno. Los precios están un poco por encima de los restaurantes de los alrededores pero creo que merece la pena. El local está muy bien decorado. Las cantidades son suficientes para saciar. Y los postres también muy sabrosos.

Local aconchegante e familiar, literalmente num beco. A comida é excelente, aconchegante. Eu gostaria que apenas que fosse em quantidades ligeiramente maiores. Atendimento sempre disponível e simpático.

NON, définitivement NON, nous y sommes allés confiants après avoir lu tous les avis positifs. Je ne comprends pas. Tout est décevant, jusqu'à la sangria contenant trois morceaux d'ananas et de l'eau pétillante. Très mauvaise soirée. Je préfère encore me faire cuire des pâtes à l'appart.

Fantastic food. Good selection of meats on the tapas menu. Really enjoyed the stuffed bread as well all really well cooked and presented. Got there at 7:30 and by 8:00 it was full and people had to sit outside to start with. 60 Euros for 3 people for 3 courses and a drink each, 100% recommended

Very pleasant restaurant. With very nice mood. With plugs for phone in every table. The food is pleasant, not being awesome, but very comforting and with a nice price tag. The deserts are portuguese and are a nice addition. Difficult to park near. But a really good place to come with someone :)

Magic in a side corner. Olives in vinegars, perfect. Wine from durro valley, perfect. Seabras with the best side dish possible. Heaven in a side corner is more probate.

This place is exceptional. The owner is so gracias and friendly. It is a family restaurant. The food is unbelievably good. I went with my son for brunch and we were going to select two brunches but the owner was so honest and kind and said 2 brunches would be too much for both of us so we chose one from the menu for both of us. She was right! The amount of food was incredible and the taste was exceptional.
If you are in Lisbon and want to eat well and have an amazing and friendly service, go to this restaurant.

After searching high and low we happened to find this hidden gem right across from our apartment, tucked away behind a garage! The food is one of the best in Lisbon we experienced. The food is prepared with passion which you can taste and see on your plate! Another bonus is the friendly staff and child-friendly environment.

We were tired tourists, footsore, hungry and a little cranky and not eager to fill up on typically heavy traditional Portuguese food in midday. We stumbled upon Beco A Serio offering a hint of high style in a sunny largo, and sat gratefully. We were more than revived by the selection of tapas offered, including big spinach croquettes and fabulous tempura green beans served in a sardine tin. If there's one thing I hate it's Lima beans - but here's where a bit of Portuguese tradition saved the day. Stewed with chourico sausage and served under a fried egg, these Limas were a wonderful new experience. Our waiter was friendly and patient with our terrible Portuguese and used his limited English to the utmost. After extensive bilingual conversation, we're still not sure how "beef balls" on the English menu translated to ham squares on our plate, but they were pretty darn good, too. No complaints! I wish we'd gone back for dinner - the inside looked like a romantic wine cellar.
