Found it online after some research and were not disappointed at all!! Really great service and food as well! Owner of restaurant comes to table and even serves food- very friendly! Had an English menu also which was helpful. I had the tuna with the sishito peppers to start and my mom had the gazpacho to start! All were amazing and would definitely come back next time in Lisbon. Great local spot to truly try local Lisbon cuisine!

Great for foodies and wine lovers! Very nice owners who create a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We loved it there and it was the highlight of our Lisbon trip! Prepare to stay for a few hours and just enjoy the food, the drinks and yourselves!

Um bar de vinhos como se exige. A seleção de vinhos foge q.b. dos estereótipos e dos vinhos da moda. Tem vários vinhos a copo e muitos brancos estão refrigerados. Pode comprar-se uma garrafa para levar para casa mas também se pode consumir localmente com um acréscimo de apenas 6€ ao preço de prateleira. Isto permite fugir da estratégia de escolher o segundo vinho mais barato da carta, com medo dos preços triplicados. Um vinho de 10€ pode aqui consumir-se por 16€, em vez dos usuais 20€ ou 30€. Comida variada e criativa, muito bem confeccionada e pensada para ser vinho-friendly. Provei a mista de tibornas, com uma de farinheira com mel e coentros sobre tomates-cherry, outra com queijo de cabra e nozes, uma de petinga com pesto e ainda chutney de cebola com shiitakes. Gostei de todas, embora pudessem ser um pouco maiores. As favinhas baby no forno tinham morcela e chouriço e estavam macias e deliciosas, com os enchidos a darem sabor copioso mas ainda equilibrado. Muito bem, um sítio a repetir, falta apenas a parceria com o vizinho careca para um final de palmiers estaladiços.

Começámos por ir para a esquerda espreitar os vinhos expostos. Excelente e curiosa seleção. Quando passámos para a direita pedimos uma mista de 4 Tibornas (uma de farinheira com mel e coentros, que felizmente não sabia nada a mel e vinha sobre uma cama de tomates cherry - bem melhor que a descrição original; uma de queijo de cabra com frutos secos, que ajuizadamente veio apenas com nozes e não em mescla; uma de petinga com molho de pesto, muito simples e apetitosa; e uma de chutney de cebola roxa com cogumelos shiitake, demasiado pesada e caramelizada). Vieram depois umas favinhas baby no forno. Muito boas, pequeninas, com pedaços de morcela ou de um enchido com sangue que não consegui identificar, rigorosamente cortados em paralelepípedos. 5 estrelas. Um lugar muito simpático que merece muitas visitas. Simpatia, bons vinhos, bons conselhos, boa comida.

Très bonne dégustation de produits régionaux

Good food as in simply prepared but the right combination of flavours. Bruschetas are good but the octopus with sweet potatoes was prepared with to much oil for my taste. The only dissapointment was the price of the bread . Gave me and my wife a basket with combined white and dark bread and came separately on the receipt with a wooping 4.1+4.8 € respectively. The service is good and warm.

Чудесное место! Мы с мужем остались в полном восторге!!! Это одновременно и магазин, и ресторан, поэтому если что-то понравилось, это можно потом купить. Отличный выбор вин, причём почти все можно попробовать по бокалам. Меню состоит из традиционных португальских деликатесов. Обязательно попробуйте устрицы. Они очень вкусные тут!!! Как закуску к вину мы взяли брускетты и сырную тарелку. И это был восторг от первой до последней крошки. Отдельно стоит отметить семейную пару, которая владеет этим заведением. Эта самая душевная встреча, которая у нас была в Лиссабоне. Они создают атмосферу, как будто зашёл перекусить в гости к друзьям! Приятно видеть, когда люди действительно любят своё дело и ценят качество продуктов превыше всего.

Magnífico lugar para tomar un buen vino nacional y picotear a pocos minutos de la Torre de Belém. El establecimiento cuenta con unas mesas en el interior y en terraza. El ambiente es más que agradable. Poseen una amplia gama de vinos y quesos. Precios razonables. Trato destacable. Además, tienen a la venta productos locales. Sin duda, vale la pena acercarse.

Si vas de tapas con aquel sabor fuera de lo común , este lugar es perfecto. Vinos selectos. Recomiendo.

We loved this place from the minute we walked in. The welcome was warm, the menu was explained to detail, the wine was delicious and above all: the food was amazing!!! And to make leaving acceptable you can shop local produce to take home. To sum it up: me and my mum had a brilliant day in Lisbon already but Prova just topped it off. Highly recommended!

Superbe! On a beaucoup marché pour y arriver, mais ça en valait le coup! Produits excellents : plateau charcuteries/fromages pour commencer, puis ensemble de bruchettas à partager très variées et très très bonnes. Possibilité ensuite d'acheter les produits mangés auparavant. Personnel adorable et aux petits soins. A tester absolument !

Uma alheira de caça de ir às lágrimas! Tábuas de queijos fantásticos. Tibornas variadas. Apenas o vinho a copo é demasiado caro. No entanto, recomendo vivamente para petiscar descontraidamente.

Mercearia onde servem refeições, gostei da mercearia nao gostei do serviço e detestei a comida o polvo e camarão estavam horriveis e duvido que tenham condições para servirem aquele tipo de culinaria naquela mercearia .

Would say 4.5 if possible. This is a small, suburban neighborhood restaurant with about 7 tables. It is also a small wine shop. You can pick out the wine you would like from the shop. We like to eat early, so we booked for 7PM. Since the Lisboans eat much later, the owner was able to take time to make some suggestions. We had about six different small dishes and all were good. We especially enjoyed the warm fig salad and the sesame encrusted tuna. Bread and olive oil were very good. We ate outside and there was a wonderful breeze. There could be more meat on the menu. As we left, locals started to arrive. Nice and relaxing, away from the hectic tourist spots.

Absolutely perfect ! We ordered the ceviche, that was excellent, really fresh fish and full of taste. We also took the cheese plate, with local and delicious products, that the owner introduced one by one. Always good when the chef knows where his/her products come from :) We finished with the Bolinhas de Alheira (meatballs) this was HEAVEN ! OMG what a taste, these are probably the best meatballs I will ever eat in my entire life! Good to know that every dish is made at the moment you order it. This may cause a small delay if you are with a lot of people to eat, but this is 100% worth it! Hopefully you will soon open the same restaurant in Belgium! :D

This is a small, family owned resraurant where everything is carefully designed and thought through . The dishes are bigger and even more colourful than they look on the menue. Each course had been presented beautifully and the wine reccommendations were spot on for every course we ordered.
