A stopover at Portuguese Rivera in an enchanting guest house, fabulous decor, attentive service and location just stone throw from the ocean. However, room withe a lot of street noise and not most comfortable bed mattress. Enjoyed the stay despite a short sleep.

Im März 2019 durften wir eine Woche im Pergola House zu gast sein, Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, immer sauber und ausreichend groß. Die Betreiber kümmern sich rührend um die Gäste, da bleibt kein Wunsch offen.Sehr Empfehlenswert!

Un lugar precioso, muy cuidado y limpísimo. La entrada es un jardín delicioso dónde también puedes tomar algo. Las habitaciones, todas diferentes son muy agradables, con detalles encantadores. Una casona espectacular. El desayuno estupendo, muy completo, desde fruta a bacon y bollitos.
El personal es el más amable que he encontrado nunca, especialmente Sofía. Tienen el detalle de invitar a Oporto todas las tardes. Genial todo. Además a pesar de estar céntrico no hay ningún ruido. Te despiertas con los pajarillos. Perfecto, apuesta segura.

Beautiful home, spacious room and nicely decorated. Breakfast was lovely and location is great to walk around. Only small complaint was the firm mattress, but the showers were so lovely!

just a wonderful place to find after a long journey..... so friendly and welcoming...

Perfectly located for everything in Cascais.Beautifully appointed period house, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast and the glass of port in thee guest lounge and bubbly at breakfast were the icing on the cake!!

Hi this house is SO cool and the service is BEYOND!!! They even helped me book a cave tour in the Algarve, far away, and my train tickets for a big journey .. it was like a CLASS in how to do customer service well! The only drawback was noise around the house .. you are in a house .. but I loved this place and would DEF stay here again, many, many times!

Très bon accueil. Chambre typique et très bien entretenue. Petit déjeuner très bon et compris avec la chambre. L'hôtel à beaucoup de charme et est idéalement placé en plein centre-ville. Une dégustation de Porto est organisée tous les jours entre 17:00 et 18:00. Idéal pour un séjour en couple.

Amazing property with bags of character right in the centre of beautiful Cascais. Service was always very friendly and efficient, wouldn’t hesitate to visit again in the future.

Pergola House is a grand old family home. It is very conveniently located to the train station and you can walk to everything in Cascais. The guesthouse staff can’t do enough for you. Great breakfast on white linen in a beautiful room in the house. And port served in the evening in an elegant, tiled sitting room of the house. Cascais is a beautiful little town on the ocean. If you are in Lisbon or traveling in Portugal, Pergola House and Cascais is definitely worth a visit.

Heel bijzonder gebouw middenin het centrum van Cascais. Soort oud landhuis, klassiek ingericht inclusief personeel van passende, vriendelijke dames. Kamer is niet bijzonder, sanitair goed. Ook het ontbijt is prima voor zo'n klein hotel (mits alles op tijd aangevuld wordt wat niet altijd het geval is). Maar zeer zeker een aanrader als je (al is het maar af en toe) van zo'n sfeertje houdt.

It is my third visit here.
Cascais is a lovely compact town with wonderful architecture together with lots of bars and restaurants.
Pergola House is an old manor house and nearly everyone who comes upon it does a double take and takes a photograph as it is so stunning.
It's a B&B with a lot of charm.

The house, staff and location get a big five stars! We loved the place. If I were going to give low stars it would be because there is no parking there. We paid €33 to park for one night stay!!! Less than 24 hours. But the place is absolutely wonderful!

We stayed one night in this hotel which has been run by 3 generations of the same family. Great antiques decorate the public rooms and the room we stayed in had a balcony. We asked about nearby restautants and had a great seafood meal just down the road. The next morning we had a great breakfast before continuing our holiday. Highly recommended!

Very small room , but had everything I needed. A warm reception from all the staff. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options and eaten in the lovely garden most days. Ideally situated for visiting the prime sihts of Cascais.

We spent six nights at Pergola House and it was a great experience. Very genteel, soft music in the dining room at breakfast, wonderful paintings in the living room, and sweeping staircases. The staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. All areas were very clean and well maintained, the garden lovely, and I’m sure in the summer it will be stunning as it was lovely in spring.The only negative for me was that the mattress was too hard. I didn’t bring this to anyone’s attention though so am not really complaining, just commenting. Overall we had a great time there.

Personnel très accueillant. A 18h00 le Porto vous est servi dans le salon de cette charmante demeure.Au petit déjeuner mon compagnon á eu la belle surprise de recevoir une petite attention pour son anniversaire. Délicate attention très appréciée.

Schon das Bild weckte hohe Erwartungen; diese wurden voll erfüllt!wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet, das Zimmer gemütlich, das Bad modern. der erste Eindruck bestätigte sich im wesentlichen, auch beim Frühstück: freundliche Bedienung, gute Auswahl von Müsli über Rührei mit Bacon, Wurst-/ Käseauswahl, Tomate mit Mozarella,Marmeladen, Obst, Säfte, Kuchen- für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, - wenn auch wenig Wechsel in der Auswahl:Ein Höhepunkt war für uns der abendliche Portwein als Gabe des Hauses, lecker, besonders, eine Gute Geste der Gastlicjkeit.Am Wochenende war sogar ein Gespräch auf deutsch mit der netten Dame aus Brasilien möglich.Eine schöne Woche in außergewönlichem Ambiente!Mängel? Kaum, die Badezimmertür schloß nicht richig.

Supurb value accomadation in busy Cascais. Loads of charm and real attention to detail both in the spacious rooms and by the helpfull staff. An enclosed garden creates a space to withdraw from the busy bar and beach activities just a few minutes walk away. The knowledgeable staff will help you make most of Cascais and help you enjoy your time in the town. Recommended.

Delivered everything I hoped for and more. Two minutes walk from railway station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and very comfortable room. Nice lounge area to relax with complimentary glass of port in the evenings.Traditional hospitality at its very best in a stunning property.

Relaxing and peaceful, a nice way to end our vacation.Great location right in the center and with short walks to multiple beaches.Lovely breakfast served inside or out in their beautiful gardens, and complementary Port wine served every night between 6 and 8 in their Garden.

Adorei esse local, porque desde 1985 ele se tornou um hotel, mas é uma casa muito bonita, organizada, cheirosa e aconchegante! As funcionárias são extremamente atenciosas e simpáticas! O café da manhã, no jardim, é servido com frutas, pães, café e leite deliciosos! Só tenho elogios a fazer! Volto com certeza pra esse hotel! Bjs

I was out after 12 midnight and the staff was not happy to open door for me when I am back. This is not very happy experience. Apart from that others are all fine. Maybe good for old couples/family, but not youth and those who like night lifes.
Location is great, just 3 mins to the station.

Beautiful manor house, lovely and clean, with great staff, who will do anything for you to make your stay a good one.
Super breakfast including a cooked breakfast, cereals , meats cheese, different breads and many kinds of fruits.
Had a free glass of port every evening before we went out for supper, nice touch.
Would definitely go back again.

Hemos encontrado un PARAISO este fin de semana en Cascais.
El recibimiento fue con una educación y simpatía impresionante, como también lo es el establecimiento.
Hemos estado muy cómodos, como en familia, la pena es que fue poco tiempo.

Volveremos sin duda.

Tolles Haus im englischen Stil, halbes Museum mit vielen Sammlerstücken und Bildern. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstückbuffet. Parkieren im Parkhaus teuer.
