Loved that place . Mike is very very very friendly. He helped me out with my stay even when they were almost fully booked and i was a walk in without reservation . helped me to get nice tickets for soccer game that i came to Portugal for . i suggest this place .

Mike, is een hostel eigenaar die er alles aan doet om het zijn gasten zoveel mogelijk naar het zin te maken. Als je vragen hebt en ergens naar toe wilt in Lissabon vraag het Mike en hij weet exact wat de beste plekjes zijn. Dit geld ook voor het ergens gaan eten en/of drinken. Als je goed en goedkoop wilt slapen en een klasse service van de eigenaar wilt zeker een aanrader.

I am the type of guy that always find something to complain about but I had so low expectations on my stay but to my surprise Mike made the stay 5/5 with his excellent service

Coziest hostel I've ever seen or been to. Clean, safe and quiet. The owner is an absolute blast, makes you feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you arrive. He will give you the best advice on where to go eat, sightseeing, party or whatever else you might be interested in. Have been here for 3 weeks and I can say I'm gonna miss this place. I would reccomend it to the queen of England.

Great place to stay, especially if you plan on visiting the Football stadium. There is a bus route down towards Belem a few meters away and Benfica station for getting in the centre about 4-5 mins away. The hostel was clean and quiet, would definitely recommenced.

Sauber, freundlich und kompetent

Estamos no hostel ainda há pouco tempo, mas por enquanto gostamos muito. O host é extremamente gentil, simpático e prestativo. A cozinha é bem equipada, os chuveiros são muito bons e há uma sala comum com um sofá e uma televisão. O quarto duplo é simples, mas limpo e confortável. Apenas o barulho da rua é um pouco intenso devido aos autocarros que param em frente ao hostel. Nada que protetores auriculares não resolvam. Inclusive, o acesso fácil a transporte público é um ponto muito positivo. Edit: Ficamos hospedados por duas semanas e a experiência foi ótima até o final!

Excelente localização, quartos muito confortáveis e uma simpatia contagiante. Adorei!!

Hostel muito simpático, extremamente limpo e cozinha muito bem equipada. Com vários transportes, restaurantes, cafés e supermercados à volta. A zona é tranquila e segura. O Mike (dono) é muito prestável e atencioso. Recomendo!

Being there for half a month and couldn't thanks Mike more for the hospitality. The hostel is very clean, organized, and the place really stands by its name "Happy Mike Hostel". It is very well located, near bus stops, cafes, supermarkets, restaurants. Very friendly neighbourhood.

Mike and Morgan were very friendly, the place is clean. Close to restaurants, caffes and patisseries. Very quiet at night time. Good connection to public transports and city center. Would recommend it and stay again!

Absolutely amazing hostel! Loved the brand new kitchen, bathrooms & showers and Mike was a very welcoming host with lots of knowledge of the surrounding areas. Everything you need is nearby: banks, supermarkets, traditional Portuguese restaurants, busses & metros, the famous Colombo shopping center and more. There are comfortable, well-made beds and lockers with great noise-cancelling window shades and a big tv for anyone to use! What else do you need? Thanks for the awesome time Mike, I will be back very soon!

Übernachten ist günstig und sauber

Unas instalaciones preciosas y muy nuevas, todo siempre limpio (lo limpia el propio gerente) sitio acogedor, con cocina muy bien equipada, muy bien de precio y muy muy cerca del centro. Todos los servicios a pie de hostal y un gerente de lo mas agradable con el cliente! Nos sentimos como en casa! ^_^ Volveremos Mike!

I just stayed for six nights at Mikes Hostel and can highly recommend this place. It is the cleanest and most modern hostel I ever stayed at and I have been travelling for the past twenty years. The place has been renovated and feels great. Mike will make sure all guests are having a good experience and he has many helpful tips for your Lisbon explorations. I felt really safe in the area and public transport is right in front of the door. The beds are really good and I had the best sleeps. There are also great restaurants and shops in close walking distance and I could have easily stayed longer. I really felt at home. Thanks Happy Mike!

Mike is an extremely welcoming host that goes out of his way to make you feel at home in Lisbon. The place is new and clean and is just minutes away from every public transport to downtow/old town.

La atención fue muy buena, te indica sitios de interés te facilita el transporte que debes de coger o cualquier cosa que necesites, las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y bastante nuevas. El único pero y por eso no Le doy las 5 estrellas es que en los 4 días que me hospede no hubo ningún mantenimientos de los baños ni ninguna limpieza, algo bastante importante al contar que es de uso compartido. Por lo demás todo genial, además vi que admiten mascotas, con lo cual suma muchos puntos.

Bom ambiente. Limpo, calmo e confortável. O Mike é bem disposto e divertido. Cama confortavel. A vizinhança é boa. Supermercado, cafés bancos. Para quem tem carro, é fácil estacionar.

Adorei a minha experiência no Happy Mike Hostel. Boas áreas, limpeza imaculada. perto da vida real e transportes muito acessíveis para o centro da cidade. Mike é uma pessoa muito simpática e realmente útil. Recomendo vivamente e vou voltar certamente.

Если Вы собрались посетить Лиссабон, не дорого, но комфортно-Вам к Майку! Хостел расположен в очень спокойном, красивом, приветливом районе Лиссабона-Бенфика. Хостел довольно просторный, много комнат с разной планировкой и вместимостью и всеми сопутствующими ништячками! Чистота-по Немецки! Майк родом из Гамбурга, он прекрасно ориентируется в Лиссабоне, да и вообще по миру, поверьте! Очень общительный и приветливый с отличным чувством юмора- Майк легко сможет Вас соорентировать-где вкусно поесть и выпить (при этом очень бюджетно!), куда сходить, что посетить, как доехать ну и т.д.))) Кафе и рестораны, бары и ночные клубы, парки доступны в пешей дистанции. Если Вы путешественник и вам хочется доступного комфорта и общения- я думаю вам точно в Happy Mike Hostel! Einfach sensationell gemütlich und familiär bei Mike - immer wieder! Benfica ist eine super Base, wenn man Lissabon erkunden und tief in die Stadt eintauchen möchte. Es gibt einfach alles - Supermärkte, Bars, Cafés - in diesem urigen Viertel, und die Verkehrsanbindung zu den touri Hotspots sind auch sehr schnell. Beim nächsten Stop in Lissabon bin ich definitiv wieder bei Mike zu Gast!
