Really nice tapas bar with good ambience right in the middle of Cascais. Staff were attentive and helpful. Good selections of tapas and Portuguese wines. We'll worth a visit.

Love this place. The food is very tasty, it is a paradise for wine tasting because of its wide variety of brands and "castas" and the waiters are very friendly and have a good knowledge of the products. Plus they speak at least English and French. Worth going there for a light informal meal.

Absolutes Highlight. Wirklich super Essen, wahnsinnig tolle Weine und der Service waren hervorragend. Da kann sich man hochgestochener Somelier eine dicke Scheibe von abschneiden. Sollten wir nochmal nach Cascai kommen, werden wir bestimmt wieder dort einkehren.

The best place to feel good with perfect service, variaty of wine and delisious tasty meals. Nice environment and service. The waiter Nuno will give you the best explaination of differnt kind of red and white Portugal wines. I strongly recommend this place to everybody who loves wine and nice atmosphere.

Excelente en todos los aspectos!! Camareros súper amables, comida riquísima y barato. La tapa de queso es un queso entero pequeñito de untar que para dos está muy bien y acompañado de una botella de vino blanco de la tierra te elevará a otro mundo!!

The place, the waiter, the wines that we tasted was excellent. If you are in Cascais and you want to spend some really good hours, don't miss this place!!! We ate very good foods and tasted very good wines. Our waiter was very creative, we ordered hot chocolate and he bring it from the confectionery next to the place. Really appreciate it. The wines were excellent, our waiter was a wine expert, he showed me very good Portuguese wines! Thank you all of you kindness and for your wines and foods. If we can come back to Lisbon, we will not miss this place. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!!,

Super place to sit and have tapas and wine after a day at the beach and watch life go by.(if your lucky to get a seat outside or at the window).service is quick and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the the food. We kept going back to this place as it was so good..

Amazing! This place was fully booked but they managed to find us a table in 10 minutes. Very friendly staff and they delivered the food in no time. And it was delicious. We literally licked the plates. Do not miss this !!!!!

We were going to order two of the same ports and the guy suggested getting one of the one we wanted and another that he highly recommended. Although it was an upsell, it was a good suggestion and my wife really enjoyed it. If you are walking around cascais and are in the mood for tapas and some wine or port they have a huge selection and great atmoshere!

This restaurant was excellent. My boyfriend and I are on vacation in Lisbon and went to Cascais for the day. With so many restaurants options to choose from, we wandered around until we stumbled upon The Tasting Room. A couple that was already eating there saw us reading the menu and highly recommended that we eat there, so we stayed. The food was impeccable - we ordered 4 tapas and some wine and our service was prompt, friendly and helpful. An amazing experience - wish we could go back!

Très bon moment. Les portions ne sont pas très importantes mais les produits de bonnes qualité et très bons. Beaucoup plus intéressant de s'arrêter manger ici même si le prix sera un peu plus important plutôt que se restaurer dans un des nombreux restaurants attrape touristes qui s'entassent dans le centre de Cascais. Je recommande grandement.

Essen und Service gut... bis wir fast fertig waren
Die Mitarbeiter waren nett und freundlich. Das Essen und der Wein gut. Nur wurden wir durch deutliche Nachfrage zum sofortigen Gehen aufgefordert als der letzte Tropfen Wein getrunken war. Schade, so sind wir mit einem schlechten Gefühl gegangen.

The wine is great! The quality of food unfortunately doesn't match. I was quite disappointed and won't go back. Very much geared for tourists which is fine, yet if this is one of after many meals in Portugal, you'll be as disappointed too.

If you love wine and good food, you have to stop here! We stayed in Cascais for 3 nights and ate here for dinner twice. If we would have eaten here the first night, we probably would have eaten dinner here every night. All of the employees are incredibly knowledgeable about wine, and there is nothing on the menu that will leave you feeling disappointed. Trust me, we tried everything! Do yourself a favor and stop here if you can.

A great place to sit down and relax while having a glass of wine, port, or sparkling wine! Luis the owner is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to be around. Ask for a recommendation if you are having a hard time picking a wine.

Don't believe the good stars..it's a total tourist trap. The food is really average and super small portions, so it ends up being really overpriced. The tempura on the green beans is mushy, the meatballs are miniscule..avoid.

Helemaal top, hier beland na een lange wandeling van Cascais naar Estoril en terug. Zeer ruime keus uit labels en wijnhuizen.
Serveren uitstekende hapjes bij de wijnen en een meer dan gezellig sfeer.
Goed ter zake kundig personeel.

Not the most affordable place but I would recommend befriending the owner and getting his POV on Portuguese wine (great class)...Avoid the tasting and go straight for a glass of the better stuff if you have a more refined palate and are short on time.

Vinoteca con una amplisima carta de vinos. Las tapas correctas. Aunque sale bastante caro. 2 vinos y 2 tapas 15€ de media. Servicio de camareros mejorable. Un espacio muy bien decorado que busca dar la imagen de local especializado no debe dar un servicio de camarero tipo "caza-turistas"de los que ya te busca en la puerta y que están encima a ver que más te puede colocar. En resumen, un sitio para descubrir y degustar vinos del país pero que debe mejorar.

A pleasant find on an afternoon walk. Friendly server picked a just-right wine for me and made me feel at home. Fabio was helpful in making recommendations for wine bars in Lisbon, especially recommending Dr. Wine, which is also a lot of fun.

Great selection of wines. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about wines, and generous with tasting wines. . Food was good and therefore the "not inexpensive" prices (for Portugal) were fair..... Room is fun and good energy.
However, there were a few things that were offputting , and made it feel like they were taking advantage / assuming their audience were tourists who were in the restaurant only once , so they can take advantage.
Examples: 1. Refusal to serve tap water by policy, the staff is only allowed to sell bottled water... even as I was buying wine and eating from the menu etc. I have not experienced this before after MANY restaurants high and low in Portugal, and I find it quite unfriendly and unreasonable. 2. No bread provided with a 9.90€ shrimp tapas, which cried out for bread to soak up the sauce.
Good and bad.... hopefully they can address the problems. Overall I did enjoy, I just wish those bad feelings weren't present. (And, I'm sure rents are rising in this area, perhaps they have to work hard to thrive financially, etc....)

Service was mediocre and after our initial order was taken it only got worse as our server was more interested in new tables. It seems overpriced in terms of food, our bill was incorrect, wouldn't recommend and have no plans to return.

No es un sitio barato, pero si estas por la zona y quieres descubrir cómo son los vinos del país es una opción difícilmente memorable.
Además te dan la posibilidad de tomar solo una copa y no ponen pegas si tienen que abrirte una botella para que lo hagas.
La carta puede llegar a ser abrumadora, pero con un poco de paciencia encuentras algo con lo que arriesgarte. El punto negativo es que los camareros, al menos los dos que nos atendieron a nosotros, no estaban demasiado comunicativos ni colaboradores... pero no fueron maleducados ni nos atendieron mal. Solo que los consejos que nos dieron son los mismos que podría haber dado yo que jamás había probado un vino portugués hasta la fecha.
Nosotros probamos el Viera da Souza y fue un éxito. Si te gustan los vinos con bastante cuerpo y de trago largo... es una buena apuesta.
Recomendable.
