Один из лучших ресторанов на этом побережье. Лучше бронировать стол заранее. Красивый скалистый берег рядом с рестораном, его видно в панорамном окне — этот вид создаёт уникальную атмосферу внутри и задаёт стиль интерьера ресторана.

신트라 투어 하다 점심을 이 식당에서 먹게 되었는데 문어밥이 너무 맛있습니다. 삐리삐리소스가 마치 한국의 라면스프와도 같은 마법의 소스인데 이거 추가 해달라고 하시면 됩니다. 아 그리고 고수가 들어가서 고수 빼달라고 요청하면 됩니다. 약간 매콤하니 한국인 입맛에 딱입니다 !!!!!! 식당 옆 해변 풍경이 끝내줍니다 :>

This is a restaurant that offers one of the most spectacular views of a wild beach with waves and their amazing sound. The food is good, the service is friendly. It offers varieties of fish among which l have tried the national food the cod fish. Calamari was also good. If you go during the day on a sunny day and sit outside you will have an unforgettable experience. Another idea would be to go for sunset while sipping you sangria and stay on for dinner and watch the twinkling stars. I emphasize on the setting and panorama because food really comes second in such an atmosphere. If you take the highway from Lisbon it is about an hour drive. It is good for budget restaurant as well.

O peixe era pequeno estava recheado de limão que mal conseguia comer as batas não tinham sal da próxima vez que voltar quero a comida maior e melhor se não estiver como eu pesso vou querer o LIVRO DE RECLAMAÇÕES. ESTÁ PERCEBIDO ?

I got many recommendations for this place. (I'm not eating seafood though) The meat menu was pretty small and the dish I got was a bit over priced 12 € for a steak with half a potato as chips (like the supermarket ones, just fresh made) is not worth it. My family said the fish was good and most important the stuff was super friendly and played with our 3 year old all the time. So all in all a good place, nice view to the ocean but not necessarily I would recommend it if you don't like fish or seafood.

All around great. Venue is unbeatable. Spectacular setting. The risotto was recommended so we had both the shrimp and the mushroom and asparagus. We followed that with a Sea Bream and a Sole. Both were done to perfection. A great experience - very much enhanced by good weather. Book well in advance for an outside table.

Una auténtica suerte descubrir este sitio. En primer lugar está en una situación espectacular, al fondo de la playa. Unas vistas increíbles del mar y el imponente acantilado. A continuación la comida, un lujo al alcance de cualquiera. Pedimos pulpo a la brasa y risotto. Exquisito. Además un servicio rápido eficaz y atento. El precio ajustado a la zona y a la calidad.

Fantastico! Location incredibile, sulla Praja Grande di Sintra. In fondo alla spiaggia a due passi dalle scure rocce, monoliti possenti e bellissimi, li contempli nel ristorante del Bar do fundo di bella atmosfera e arredato con gusto. Personale gentile e cibo ottimo! Zuppa di pesce delicata ma gustosa a dire di mio marito e dopo abbiamo assaporato un ottimo tonno con riso al sapore di coriandolo, accompagnato da una salsa incredibile!! Cheese cake al lampone per terminare !!! Tutto ottimo. Lo consiglio assolutamente

Poisson extra à un tarif raisonnable (environ 14€ l'assiette). Le cadre est magnifique car au bout de la plage et donc pas de voiture. Acces direct à la mer.

Excellent food!
We first thought, even for the really nice looking location with a hilarious sight it would be bit pricey. We could not have been more wrong! Dishes were really well prepared. Never eaten such good grilled octopus! Ty for this experience :)

El sitio espectacular, sobre todo con la puesta de sol. Buena comida, te atienden de forma especial, la musica, el ambiente, lo tiene todo. La pena es no estar más cerca para poder disfrutarlo más veces. Fue la última cena en Portugal y nos dejócon muy buen recuerdo. Muy recomendable.

Com 12 graus na rua e vento, pretendi entrar para tomar café com a minha mulher.
A entrada foi-me rejeitada, com o colaborador a colocar-se à nossa frente e sugeridas as mesas na rua.
Haviam mesas livres e, na verdade, até estava interessado em comer alguma coisa mais tarde.
Péssima atitude e simpatia.
Não volto.

Super genial. Hier ist es sehr sehr gemütlich. Direkte Lage am Meer. Man kann sogar auch draußen sitzen. Bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten und sogar Heizstrahler vorhanden. Die Getränke sind lecker und das Essen ist super mega gut. Kann man nur empfehlen!!! Auch ist das Servicepersonal sehr gut.

Nice place for easy sea food and great sunset view, percebes here are better than in baia do peixe in cascais) price-quality is very well! why 4 not 5 stars - all food are a bit salty (we are in Portugal, of course, its a local style), but and a little bit more vinegar than it should be everywhere and you lost points of fresh taste.

Фантастичний вид на океан, сучасний дизайн з панорамними вікнами, затишна атмосфера, тепло від каміна, вишукана кухня, хороше обслуговування.
Якось в лютому місяці пізно вечором шукали затишне місце, де можна було-б скуштувати море-продукти та провести вечір з друзями в спокійній атмосфері. Проїхавши декілька ресторанів та не знайшовши бажаного, потрапили сюди. Були вільні столики та великий вибір море-продуктів. Замовили Polvo (восьминіг) та Bacalhau (вимочена тріска), ще мясну ковбаску під яйцем. До столу нам подали смачне біле сухе вино. Важко передати словами неймовірний смак восьминога та ніжної сочної тріски. Ціни помірні, але все того варте !!! Рекомендуємо відвідати !

Muito bem recebidos, desde já o meu obrigado. Apesar de não termos reservado mesa, tivemos sorte porque havia mesa disponível, contudo é aconselhado reservar.
Estacionamento pequeno, mas tudo se resolve.
Comida muito bem confeccionada e boa de sabor.
Parte negativa, preço algo elevado.
(sugestão, com base no que consumi, poderiam aumentar a quantidade das doses para compensar o prato principal. Valor da fruta da época muito mau mesmo)
Resumindo, jantar a dois, boas vistas, uma vez por outra, vale mesmo a pena amigos.

Localizacao incrivel e comida deliciosa, mas infelizmente o servico foi pessimo. Fomos atendidos por uma menina com piercing, e ela foi extremamente mal educada conosco. Uma pena.

Localização maravilhosa e comida excelente... porém, o atendimento é péssimo! Infelizmente não perguntamos o nome da garçonete, mas lembro que tinha piercing no nariz, fuja dela!!! Coisas desse tipo nos faz perder a vontade de recomendar o lugar e principalmente de VOLTAR! Enfim, é isso.

Helaas was mijn service niet optimaal, duurde lang om de aandacht vd ober te trekken, maar dat lag geloof ik echt aan hem, misschien was ie net begonnen of had ie geen interesse... Geloof dat het andere personeel veel attenter was. Wel heerlijk gegeten!

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Passt sich natürlich in die Landschaft ein. Die Aussicht aufs Meer könnte nicht besser sein, entspannte Musik, das Essen und die Weine sind auf hohem Niveau und der Service ist Top. Preislich etwas höher im Vergleich, aber jeden Euro wert.

Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés car vous allez vous régaler ! Une cuisine d'un raffinement exceptionnel ! La patronne est tellement gentille qu'elle nous a traduit absolument toute la carte en nous expliquant chaque plat !!! :))
Dommage qu'on ne reste pas plus longtemps car nous aurions volontier découvert d'autres plats ... mais , on y reviendra !

Amazing Food, the ingridients are of a high quality. The menu provides something fpor every taste.
Octopus and Cake are always a pleasure, no matter in which season or year.
But the service can be terribly nasty.
I have always had a table reserved.
I have been there often since 2016.
The first time we, a group of four, were pretty fancy dressed and we were treated very well. A very friendly waiter, not only friendly and charming waiter that knew the menu by heart. It was a pleasere. I never had a table in his responsibilty again .
However, the second time i have been there, it where two of us. We were dressed like the locals, leger. When we arrived the waitress saw as, told us to wait, went to a lovely table on the terrace, took the reservation card and led us to another table inside in front of a window that was broken and could not be opened. I asked if we could have the usually table outside, she said no. Tabel was free for another half an hour without beeing reserved. Food took forever, our table was barely recognized by the staff.
I swore that i would never go there, but a few months later i was again in the area and restaurant possibilites are limited.
Same game. Dressed up in posh clothes: got a nice table at the terrace and was treated very well.
Thought about entering the game and me and my company dressed up in way more expensive clothes than the day before but the didn`t show the label. guess what.. same waitress from the day before took us to a table inside (took the reserved label from one of the outside tables, but after she seated us). Personell once again was not very interested in us orderign anything else but the main course.
From that on i always dressed in posh clothes (since limitations on restaurants and the food is really good) and was treated ok. But everytime i go there i think: "It was an exhausting day, it finally couled down and i enjoy the short walk from the house down to the beach. Why cant`t that be in cosy clothes and flip flops like the locals do it?"

Schöner Ort, um Surfern beim Gleiten oder Kentern zuzusehen. Die Lage ist eher ruhig, da am Rand des Strandes. Mit einem Glas auf dem Tisch, kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen.

경치가 좋은곳에 서 맛있는 음식을 먹으니 더 맛있게 느껴지네요 음식 이 전체적으로 맛있습니다 파스타는 약간 매운맛이 있고 여성분들이 좋아하실 것 같고 문어는 다른 식당들처럼 부드럽고 쫄깃한맛 입니다 대구는 좀 짜지만 리스본에서 처음먹어서 맛이있는지는 잘모르겠네요 가이드랑 같이 온곳인데 현지인 없이는 오기조금 힘든곳 입니다 저희는 왔을때는 사람이 많지 않아 음식이 바로 나왔습니다 처음주는 빵은 돈 지불하셔야 하고 아니면 치워달라고 하세요 ^^

Tem uma vista deslumbrante e privilegiada sobre o mar e o por do sol, assim como um design moderno e bonito. Não cheguei a almoçar ou jantar lá. Acho que era interessante ter opções de comida para a refeição do lanche (ex.: tostas, sandes...).

De bar só tem o nome.
É um restaurante, moderadamente caro e de ambiente totalmente diferente do original que lhe deu o nome, esse sim, bar de praia, que fazia justiça ao ambiente que quem procura um pequeno almoço, almoço ou petisco de final de tarde na praia grande, merece!

Não deixando de referir que é um ótimo restaurante, pois já comi diversas vezes lá e não tenho dúvida que sabem ter qualidade e boa comida.
Não posso deixar no entanto de referir que tive uma péssima experiência com o serviço, por duas vezes sendo uma das vezes com a comida, bebida e serviço. Penso que a senhora que deve ser a gerente ou chefe de sala é muito arrogante a tratar os clientes e não filtra muito bem as emoções.
A má experiência começou com uma sangria de 1 litro que serviu apenas 2 copos de vinho (220 ml). Confrontado com a situação o empregado de mesa começou com justificações, que podíamos ter pedido o tamanho maior por apenas mais 1 ou 2 euros e que o recheio da sangria era a razão. Certo que acabou por fazer um pequeno refill mas com uma cara de desagrado. Bem sei que a sangria leva fruta e gelo, mas penso que não será pedir de mais que uma sangria de 1 litro dê pelo menos para servir 2 vezes 2 copos pequenos...
Em relação à comida foi a posta mirandesa no menu da semana passada. Literalmente a pior que me serviram na vida, nem devia ser chamada de posta mirandesa.
Para quem gosta, como sabem, o conceituado prato e agradável "posta mirandesa" é um naco de carne de qualidade, bem largo, que é cozinhado de forma ao interior da peça ficar crua ou semi-crua, bem vermelhinha viva (devido a frescura suposta da carne) e suficientemente "humida" "juicy" sendo que à volta deve estar cozinhada de forma meio que "estaladiça" mas sem chegar a queimar. Nunca é servida com molhos de lado, pois o sabor da carne deve prevalecer.
O que me serviram naquele dia foi uma dita posta mirandesa de carne, sem o tamanho nem formato tradicional da posta mirandesa. Estava seca, sem sabor, meio que queimada nas pontas(não estava estragada mas o sabor simplesmente não estava lá). Mal cor rosa estava por dentro, nem no meio termo, estava basicamente bem passada e seca, sem alma.
Foi servida com uma "trilogia" de molhos gordurosos a acompanhar (notem pf que eu já pedi posta mirandesa um pouco por toda parte do nosso belo país e e nunca vi tal cenário de molhos) sendo estes: molho cocktail, maionese de alho e um terceiro que não me recordo sequer porque acho que nem cheguei a provar. A acompanhar vinha ainda com uma salada mista que nem temperada estava e que simplesmente não combina, talvez uns legumes ficassem melhor!
Já meio que saturado de exigir ser bem servido, não me dei ao trabalho. Deixámos quase metade do prato e dirigi-me ao balcão para pagar a conta. Decidi quase a ir embora, informar a senhora que penso ser chefe de sala, da situação. Indignada, dirigiu-se à nossa mesa, apertou a carne com as mãos e disse que a carne estava óptima e macia e que eu não tinha razão.
Perante esta situação, desisti por completo, não argumentei mais sequer e fui embora. Não voltarei a gastar 60€ num jantar aqui para ser mal atendido do inicio ao fim e perdem aqui um cliente que estava a começar a ser regular.
Não termino sem referir novamente que já comi optimamente bem aqui, adoro a localização e o ambiente do restaurante e não tenho duvidas de sabem trabalhar bem, se o quiserem.
Fiquei muito insatisfeito com a situação anterior e com a reacção da pessoa responsável, pelo que deixo este comentário na expectativa de que estas situações injustas, não prevaleçam e que de alguma forma, comece a haver mais consciência e brio no serviço da restauração em Portugal.

Had a pleasant time at this place for my gf’s birthday, the food was amazing (not to mention that the price is definitely worth the quality) and the staff were all so friendly and helpful that they even made an artistic “happy birthday” plate when they know that it’s for a birthday occasion.

Very touristic so I think you'll find more soulful locations in Portugal. That being said, the food and service was excellent, background music on point and the view is unbeatable. If you're up to spend a bit more, I'm sure you'll have a great time here. The (public?) toilets need some attention...

Сервис хромает, приходили сюда несколько раз, зарезервировали столик на террасе, за день, когда пришли, недовольная Женщина сказала, что столы на террасе не резервируются, после споров все же нас усадила, с очень не довольным лицом. Tudo muito saboroso!! A carne desfaz-se na boca, o peixe é bem fresco e muito saboroso. A apresentação dos pratos é muito cuidada sendo os pratos sempre embelezados.
Preço elevado mas dada a qualidade da comida é até normal.

O staff também é 5 estrelas, sempre com um sorriso e super simpáticos.

Longe vão os tempos em que o Bar do Fundo era um bar de praia que já na altura servia refeições e sanduíches fora do tradicional. Hoje é um restaurante de referencia na zona. Sempre cheio quer de inverno, quer de verão é recomendável fazer marcação prévia de mesa. Uma óptima esplanada para os fins de tarde para apreciar o pôr do sol da Praia Grande que é único. Também dão umas mantinhas para quando está mais frio. Quanto ao restaurante propriamente dito. Há sempre um prato do dia de comida que considero caseira. O menu é variado. Experimente a Posta Mirandesa (para duas pessoas). Boa seleção de vinhos e uma boa lista de sobremesas. Reserve o seu lugar

Delicious fresh seafood and a friendly feel to the restaurant with unbeatable views. We popped down after Nortada had somehow missed our reservation and after their rudeness in addressing the issue we left and stumbled across Bar Do Fundo. Without a reservation they were kind enough to move a table to accommodate for us on a Friday night and were delightful throughout, helping us debone our fish as we were struggling to. Tasty wine, lovely people and a sunset like no other from the decking.
Worth the visit if you’re in the area and I’f you’re not then you must make the journey! When we visit next we will back to this restaurant

Just the view is to die for, the restaurant is on the beach and the parking is 20 meters from the restaurant. The food was just fresh and delicious, the sea bass was amazing. The percebos were so fresh that I could have many more. Will be back for sure.

This is a long review, but to sum it up, go if you like seafood in it’s pure form, great views and very good service. This is an idyllic setting for a couples date but make reservations.
I booked reservation through email. They were great on email and very helpful so reach out to them.
The restaurant is well appointed and feels like a nice beach place to eat. Glassed in or out on the patio both are an option. The patio has a heater above the seats so don’t worry about the ocean breeze. We were quickly greeted by a few pleasant servers and we let them know we had reservations.
Let’s get the nitty gritty out of the way. Everyone we spoke to had very passable or fluent english...much better than my Portuguese. They were also very well staffed with table runners, managers and servers floating everywhere. This place knows how to deal with a rush.
Now, I am not going to mislead you, I’m not a small guy and it was a bit cramped in the smallish restaurant, but I am adaptable. They had reserved us an AMAZING window seat for dinner and we settled in to check over the medium, but thorough menu. As we were perusing, the server brought us over a few different fresh breads, with olive oil, smoked salmon mayo and chicken liver pate. All were great.
Our server took our drink orders. House white for me (very good) and a small red sangria for my wife. Very generous pour on the wine for me and a giant jug of sangria for my wife. She commented later that it was very tasty and the use of apples in it was pleasant.
For our starters we shared:
- Four oysters (12 euro)
- An order of Goose Barnacles (13 euro)
- White fish ceviche (8 euro)
The orders hit our table very quick (and we placed our mains).
The starters were really good. The ceviche had lovely chunks of white fish and was very generous for a great price. The oysters were super fresh, a good sized and simply accompanied by lemon and tobasco, but they played second fiddle to the Goose Barnacles. We have never heard of them before and just had to order them. There is a picture attached of them. But they look like goose necks attached to a dragon crab claw with stunning colours. We stopped a server walking by and asked him how to eat them as we haven’t had them before.
He showed us and explained that they were prepaired by simply steaming the clusters in salt water. OH MY GOD these flavour bombs are my new favourite seafood. They are really easy to get open, a pinch and twist and boom, yummy flesh. They taste like lemon, salt and a lovely background of sweet. Not rubbery or slimy at all, they have a very firm but delicate flesh. I could have eaten more so try them please! A quick caveat, for this dish, use your napkin as a bib, they sometimes will spurt out some orange at you.
Bar do Fundo has a very well rounded menu that would have anyone there celebrating the seafood cows, pigs and chickens of Portugal. But I am at the ocean so I want something that swam.
- grilled octopus with potatoes and Portuguese cabbage (more fibrous and green, almost like kale) with loads of garlic and olive oil. Very tasty with a nice char and well cooked sides that were used to actually build the dish. The portion size was very big and only 15.50 euro. I would say the only thing lacking was a little hit of acid from lemon and some finishing salt, though it didn’t take away from the dish.
- Lobster risotto was tasty and presented well. Lots of Parmesan and chunks of lobster and well cooked rice, you can’t go wrong. This clocked in at a pricey 25 euro, but worth it.
We had three deserts because it was a birthday.
- Chocolate mousse with peanut praline (crumbled). Tasty but pretty normal desert, nothing wrong with it though! This was 4 euro.
- Egg custard that was very similar to a creme caramel at 3 euro
- Almond tart icecream that was simply the top three icecream I’ve had. It has little bits of tart right in there. (4 euro)
Overall 5/5 would return! Great service, very good food, great atmosphere and views. Can’t go wrong.

Try it at the dusk. You'll have the most gorgeous sunset as the perfect scenery. Located in one of the most beautiful beaches of Sintra. The food here is wonderful and be sure to taste a good glace of red wine. You're set to an amazing evening at seaside. Simply wonderful. It's surprising finding a place which truly changes your perspective and this place definitely does that. Usually beach food or restaurants are the normal hotdog stands or chain restaurants but this isn't the case here and is truly something special. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because you'll definitely need it. We started off with very delicious oysters and they were so good we had to get another order. Before our entrees we got the fish soup which was creamy and nice. It was recommended that we get the Tuna Steak and I wasn't disappointed because it was one of the most delicious and memorable tuna steaks I've ever had. The sauce and rice in re dish truly make it mouth watering and amazing. For dessert check out the panna cotta. It's a taste of Portugal it's finest and you won't be disappointed.

Foi no sentido da descrição das redes sociais, que ocorreram as duas visitas ao Bar do Fundo. E é nesse sentido que a opinião é emitida. O aviso serve de prevenção à disparidade com a opinião global.
Imaginem o Sol a alaranjar lá ao fundo, as ondas fluem lentamente com um pequeno rebordo de espuma, a areia fica mais escura pela ausência de luz, a câmara viaja horizontalmente, numa velocidade ligeiramente mais lenta, enquanto as pessoas se encontram sentadas, de tez morena de fim de Verão a contemplar o espectáculo.
O Bar do Fundo é romântico a este ponto. O facto de estar isolado dos restantes, de termos de caminhar um pouco até lá, a varanda à frente elevada, a grande frente de vidro enquadrada com a paisagem. Tudo isto é pago.

Óptimo aspecto o do cozido, ainda para mais em modo partilha. Não foi comido mas fez inveja.
Muito bom o bacalhau à Brás, com os ovos no ponto correcto, sem qualquer chamada de atenção, sendo o único prato comido na casa.
Mediana a tosta mista que merecia muito mais vigor, do que apenas as folhas de oregãos por cima. Queijo daquele que sabemos fazer por cá.
Menos bom os rolinhos de queijo de cabra. Demasiado enjoativos pela massa Filó que os envolve. Igual para o cheesecake, com demasiado açúcar quer na parte do creme, quer na parte da framboesa.

Há aqui algum ostracismo latente. É difícil de condenar, especialmente se isto nos acontece pela positiva nalgum sítio, mas sempre muito fácil de criticar quando acontece pela negativa noutro.
Há clientes da casa e há os outros. Há o pé descalço e o brinca aos pobres. Sem problemas. Mas se entramos e pagamos...então convém tentar manter tratamento semelhante. E esse tratamento sente-se, a partir do momento em que se diz: não é para fazer refeição.
O preço é superior à média (plenamente justificado pela localização) no menu. Nos “snacks” e sobremesas, as coisas mais ligeiras que alguém poderá sair da praia e comer, são mais do que superiores. São proibitivos. E sim. Isso evitará algum tipo de cliente, muito provavelmente.

Restaurante com decoração de bom gosto e uma vista lindissima para a falėsia. Local ideal para jantar a dois enquanto se vê o pôr do Sol. Boa comida e serviço a preços justos. Só uma nota negativa: a Sangria de vinho branco deixou a desejar, não tinha qualquer álcool.

El restaurante es realmente bonito y las vistas de la puesta de sol son espectaculares...
Pero no solo es eso... La materia prima fresquisima y de primera calidad y el servicio muy atento..
La mejor cena de los cuatro dias que estuvimos en Lisboa. Precio equilibrado.. Tres personas con comida en abundancia vino y postre 105 euros...
Un grato recuerdo de cena en familia que perdurara mucho tiempo...

My husband and I had made very bad experience with this restaurant. We were sitting outside on the terrace and my husband feel a little bit cool - we had have many drinks and then we decided to go in. It was a big discussion, they have free table inside - but they have reserved for possible coming customers, that eventually spent mor money for dinner and drinks. We live here nere praia Grande and we are German. and we were often in this restaurant. We were very surprised. After ten minutes, we could go in. We were three persons. Then we decided something to eat. The portion was so small, we couldnt believe this. We made a reklamation and the boss startet a big discussion with us. finally I got a little bit more. Now it starts the season with the tourist - and this restaurant will earn so much money they can do. But the owner has forgotten, that we are here also in the wintertime and spent money.
We have decided, not more go to this restaurant for lunch or dinner, eventually only for drinks. It gives a lot very good restaurant at praia grande. Normally we are client de casa at Nortada - very good, best services and good portions.

The service was very poor, I was extremely unhappy with the Cocktail Caipirinha that is normally done with crushed ice instead of ices cubes which made the drink hot and unpleasant for which I payed 5€. The managers answer to my recommendation of crushed ice was "Everybody knows that I serve it with ice cubes", which was very unfortunate and made me feel unwelcome since there was no indication of this on the menu. On the other hand the place is amazing with great views, food presentation was amazing, although the quality was a bit low for its price. Overall a very unhappy experience, which I will not recommend or repeat anytime soon.

The restaurant is a hidden pearl at Sintra beach.
If you opt for the terrace you can have the house ponchos to keep you warm on chilly evenings.
Order the starters, the bread with tapenades (spreads) are excellent.

Thank the heavens for this place. It's amaze. Sit out on the deck and if it's cold grab a blanket. I had the cod loin which was delightful but the star of the show is the cod, chips and scrambled egg. Great for a hangover ;-) highly highly recommended.
