Good overall tastes (even bread!). Very good price. Good drinks! Brilliant service (even provide refreshing towel!) Really awesome!

This place is a surprise. And a good one! The moules are served really fresh and with delicious sauces - I recommend the lemon and the thay ones. Obviously the gin is prepared close to perfection. I'll be back for sure.

Amazing, the highlight of the holiday. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. In the back streets away from the hoards. Well worth a visit.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Cascais but the last couple of visits were a letdown... Soggy French fries and overcooked mussels are not acceptable when trying to live up to the Belgian mussel concept

Great selection of mussels, we tried the Meunière and the Moqueca and both were great. The accept only Portuguese credit cards, so bring cash.

The name is what they serve, around 12 types of mussels with more than 15 kinds of gin. Mussels are perfectly prepared and for all kind of palettes. We had the curry mussels with chilli and it was super delicious. Paired with gin it's a perfect combination. Highly recommended if you're in the area

The moules (mussels) are great, and the sauce selection is wide and excellent. The fries they bring as a side are stellar. The waitress was kind and attentive. The decor is nice, clean and modern with a little bit of a rustic feel. But I had to dock them 1 star because when we went there at lunch, it must have been 30 solid minutes between ordering and getting our 3 bowls of mussels. Since we the third of three occupied tables, I found the food prep a bit too slow. Besides that, it's all good.

Wonderfully simple and tasteful place, the food consists of perfectly cooked mussels in a range of sauces, with beautifully prepared gins to go. Great steak too. Cosy and cool, you'd be a fool to miss out!

Cozy place with excellent moules (mussels) variety of sauces and also amazing gin choices.
Small space (about 20 tables) so best to do reservation. Waiters are friendly and always available and service is fast and smooth.
Recommend the moules with mustard sauce.

Espaço agradável, staff simpático e atencioso. A comida é bem confeccionada, o prato do naco, a carne é de qualidade.
Escolha de vinhos pobre, as sobremesas são apetecíveis e saborosas.
O preço paga a qualidade dos pratos mas não do serviço!!

A cozy restaurant in the very center of Escais. We had some great mussels despite not being the best period of the year for it. Very tasty and generous portions. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend for all the Moules lovers

Resraurante localizado no centro de Cascais! Um óptimo local para jantares ou almoços calmos e a comida, como o nome do restaurante sugere, são mexilhões confecionados de várias formas, com muito sabor e acompanhados com batata frita! Para acompanhar, existem vários gins com diferentes marcas e sabores! Uma óptima combinação que recomendo mesmo!

Came in for a drink mid week, really knowledgeable about their gin. They stock classics and some unique gins. We didn't eat but some people next to us did and it looked and smelt really good. Fun vibe and good service.

On a quiet night you can hear the sea and if your sitting outside the restaurant on a balmy summers evening you can smell the wonderful smells of the sea coming out of the kitchen...muscles in a variety of soups and sauces..just tastes fantastic

We love mussels, so this place is heaven. We have tried several versions and love them all. I would guess they have 10 different preparation styles for the steamed mussels! Also have a couple of steak options which we haven't tried yet. Very friendly staff!!

Poderá ser boa comida no Restaurante mas fiz pedido através da Glovo e o pedido teve imenso tempo para ser levantado. Comida fria e as batatas pareciam papa, tudo menos fritas. Preço qualidade e quantida, foi carissimo.Mais valia ter pedido um hamgurguer.

Excelentes mexilhoeira, com uma otima variedade de molhos, sempre espetaculares com um pão quente a acompanhar, que colocam sempre a mesa. Tem uma boa variedade de cervejas e de gins e uma sobremesas ótimas. A equipa é simpática e espirituosa, o que também faz com que a refeição seja muito agradável.

Lovely food and a great place. Mussels were plentiful and very tasty. The steak was lean and again very tasty.
Service was very abrupt and just not made to feel welcome by the waitress. Felt like she just didn’t want to be there at all.
Shame that the service and hospitality let it down.

Eccellente esperienza! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo a pranzo, anche se era molto tardi. Cibo sopraffino, ricercato, porzioni abbondanti, ottimi cocktail e dessert. Impeccabile anche il servizio, la cordialità del personale e la capacità di interpretare i gusti del cliente. Prezzo onestissimo. Complimenti!

Cool place in Cascais, we tried it once and it was great.
NB: as it is not mentionned on the menu, if you choose pastas with your mussels it comes as a pastas with mussels dish (not in a separate plate instead of the fries).
Loved the concept of mussels and Gin, they also have mussels of the day that can be great!
I recommend !

Fresh bread (!!!), relaxing and casual atmosphere, and my moules were so good! My boyfriend ordered meat and was not disappointed either. Favorite place in Cascais. I will definitely return next time I’m here.

Moules & gin foi indicado por uma amiga que sabe que apreciamos gin.
É um restaurante que não têm acesso de carro.
O ambiente é bastante acolhedor propício para um jantar descontraído.
Tendo em conta o nosso gosto por gin começamos por pedir os nacionais, numa carta com alguma variedade a maior parte estava esgotado tendo para opção cerca de seis, numa casa que se pressupõe que a bebida dominante seja precisamente o gin..!!!
Quanto às moules têm vários molhos para acompanhar, mas minha opinião o recipiente onde é servido não é o mais adequado pois o molho fica todo no fundo e não abrange a primeira metade e se escolher massa ainda pior....
O molho que escolhi com leite de cocô estava insípido e com bocados enormes de cebola crua...dava a impressão que tinha sido feito à pressa...mas o de pesto (opção do meu marido) estava bom.
O staff é simpático, principalmente para estrangeiros já que aos locais dão pouca atenção.

Un restaurant et des serveuses très sympathiques. Les plats sont élaborés et consistants. Le peu de choix tant pour les moules ou les desserts montrent un coté raffiné. D'un point de vue prix, 23euro pour plat + dessert + café. C'est largement abordable !

Um restaurante que serve essencialmente mexilhão com opção por vários molhos. Na lista figuram 2 pratinhos de carne. Sem peixe, sem salada sequer, muito menos sopa. Os mexilhões foram satisfatórios mas não mais do que isso. É realmente só para beber um gin e petiscar uns mexilhões porquanto nem sobremesa servem.

Assolutamente consigliato, la caratteristica del ristorante è di proporre cozze prodotte in tanti modi differenti, sono veramente una prelibatezza unica, un ristorante praticamente unico nel suo genere. Incredibilmente buone sono le cozze fritte, che non avevo mai assaggiato in vita mia. Il vino che viene servito è molto molto buono, È comunque possibile abbinare le cozze a vari tipi di cocktail che vengono suggeriti dai camerieri. Parlano perfettamente inglese. Consiglio la prenotazione dal momento che il locale è molto piccolo. Inoltre è estremamente accogliente . credo che nel mio viaggio in Portogallo sia stato il miglior ristorante. Da segnalare la difficoltà di parcheggio in zona, bisogna girare un po'.

Moules were average, but quite a small portion for the price (€11), although the garlic mayo was very nice. We were also charged €3 for 3 small bread rolls that were placed in front of us without asking. The service was strange, as the waitress kept trying to take my plate whilst I was still eating. Would not recommend - not worth the hype and I'm sure there are better and cheaper places to get mussels in cascais!

Muy buen lugar para tomarte unos mejillones de 20 maneras diferentes y todas buenas y sobre todo una muy buena oferta en cuanto a gin tonics se refiere, lo puedes tener como referencia antes de cenar o para tomarte una copa en plan tranquilo después de cenar en otro sitio. Te pilla cerca de cualquier sitio. Recomendable si te gusta su oferta

Absolutely cracking venue. Best Moules & frite i have had outside of Belgium. The Gins are mixed to perfection, my wife was impressed by the strawberry gin. Relaxed, cool atmosphere with impressive service. Will visit again fo'sho.

If the name of the place resonates with what you like you should go! I had salmon tartare as a starter as a starter (which was amazing, 5€) and mussels with coriander, garlic, olive oil (very, very good, 11€). The GnT is around 11€ each, the selection is good (although Monkey 47 was out that night) and the preparation very nicely done. I'll go again and have the exact same.

Were out reasonably late due to travel delays we were not sure we would be able to get dinner at all. This restaurant could offer us a table in what is a cosy and compact space. we are not picky at this point in the evening and just need dinner. My steak was very good the service was efficient. The red wine was not so great i normally get housewine I enjoy more in Portugal. Could just be me. I'm sure that the gin would have been excellent

At first the concept might seem a little odd, but give it a try. You won't regret it. The gin is well prepared and the food is great.
