Our time here was very disappointing. We came for one week but only stayed three nights because it really didn’t feel like a holiday here. when we arrived at night the whole place was very cold.there is only electric heating that doesn’t really warm the apartment, thus we were freezing cold.On the next day we used the open fireplace to heat the apartment, but since there is no cover for it and it’s open and there was a lot of dust and fog from the open fire and it felt impossible to breath at night. The place itself looks really nice on the surface there are animals, there is a lot of nature but our apartment was old and smelly.the furniture did not fit together at all and the bedlinen was old, smelly and with wholes. The kitchen was badly equipped. It was a shame since Ben and his helpers are really nice people and the place got good reputations once but it seems like it was not looked after for a while. I saw one Other apartment that seemed much nicer. Might be that we Only had bad luck.

If you like nature and animals is perfect for you. The owner is very friendly. Beautiful and unforgettable.

I give the accommodation 1 star for warm welcome and cute animals. Otherwise 1 star would be too much. It is so run down - smelly, moldy, full of old and not functioning things. We had mouse in our food in the evening, insect everywhere... But the worst was the smell all around the apartment. Wanted to spend 2 nights, but after 1 night we had to leave. It is a shame, because with regular maintenance and cleaning changing old equipment, cleaning regularly etc.) it would have been lovely place set in a green paradise...

Don’t trust the 5 star reviews, unless you like damp, torn and dirty apartments infested with funghi and insects.

We visited Quinta do Corvo for several years in a row. It was always pleasant and relaxing. The appartments come in all sizes and are decorated in an original eclectic style. The fact that there are animals present in the huge garden gives it a feel of really being in the countryside. However with some of the most intimate and beatiful beaches of the Portugese coast. Close by you find all you need for restaurants and culture. Having a car is a necessity though! Beautiful walking trails, lovely wines from the surrounding hills and Lisbon closeby if you need to feel the City Buzz every now and then. We recommend the Quinta do Corvo highly.

helaas is onze week in deze quinta niet geweldig geslaagd te noemen. bij aankomst was er niemand om ons te ontvangen maar we waren iets te vroeg. later teruggekomen maar nog steeds niemand door andere gast uit eindelijk binnengelaten. huisje: erg slecht schoongemaakt mijn vrouw stond met tranen in haar ogen. alles oud, vochtig en vies en de badkamer en keuken gevaarlijk door slechte electra verwarmd zwembad rondom onverzorgd en water drabbig oude met zweetplekken gesierde meubels en ligbedden niet uitnodigend. 02:30 's nachts begon het hanen trio met de reveille en lagen wij allen wakker tot de ochtend ook het honden geblaf was luid en duidelijk.] stank en vliegen waren de slagroom op deze fauna taart de ontbijtservice en dagelijkse schoonmaak waren afwezig wel 5 witte bammen aan de deurknop maar je moest wel de deur uit voor beleg en dergelijke dus had je die broodjes net zo goed ook mee kunnen nemen. het gehele park van quinta de corvo is het best te omschrijven als ooit een rustieke tuin maar nu een overwoekerd ,donker oerwoud vol met hobby objecten van de eigenaar. voor de weg naar het park toe heeft u beslist een 4x4 nodig of een goede verzekering van de huur auto. na mijn vrouw belooft te hebben er niet meer over te klagen is de staat van het huisje en park tot onderwerp non grata benoemd. vier aanwezige gezinnen deelden onze mening van vergane glorie en luie gastheer de omgeving stranden: top !!! restaurants : ruim voldoende cultuur : ruim voldoende boodschappen doen : voldoende
