It was my first experience to travel by campervan, and i absolutely liked it. My girlfriend and me travelled from Lissabon along the coast to Sagres. On the way we made some stops to surf and when we liked the spot, we stayed there overnight. It was a cool feeling saying, yeah... lets stay here and park the van on the cliffs with an awesome view over the sea (and surfspot ) Everything went without problems, we never got into trouble finding good sleepingplaces. We were looking for uncrowded spots with a nice view and were supprised, that we found so good places, without searching a lot (on google sattelite you can get a good first impression of the coast line and where its possible to park the van) The van was in a very good and new shape. We had 150l of water and it lasted the whole week, although we took a short shower everyday after surfing. The handover of the van, directly at the airport was completely reliable ( although our flight had an 1 hour delay) and Ricardo was still waiting for us to handover the van and explain everything... freshwater supply... toilette... electricity... and much more! So I can absolutely recommend campersonway. Everything was organized the way we could start our trip right away from the airport without loosing quality surftime☀️

First time hiring a campervan and really enjoyed the experience and I'm sure that me and my family (2 adults + 2 young girls) couldn't be more satisfied. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the start, even when we're yet to decide everyone were kind enough to answer all answers/doubts. The briefing we had before departing was thorough enough to leave us reassured with all the details concerning the campervan. The campervan itself was well kept and, despite its size, quite fun to drive and easy to handle. We rented the campervan over a period of a 4 days and I'm sure even if it was for a longer period we're still be confortable. It was a truly unforgiven experience that we'll try to repeat ASAP.

Descobri a Camers on Way através de amigos que já tinham tido uma experiência muito boa com eles durante o Verão. Estava um pouco hesitante, mas lá decidi alugar a caravana durante uns dias em Novembro. Peguei na mulher e filhas, e lá fomos até ao Alentejo ao festival do Balão. Posso dizer que apesar do frio que se fez sentir durante o dia e noite, a caravana é bastante bem revestida e dormir não foi problema. A caravana vem com tudo o que possamos precisar: gás para cozinhar e água quente, utensílios de cozinha, wc completo com duche, frigorífico, electricidade (super autónoma, pois tem painel solar que fornece electricidade sem precisar de ligar a caravana à ficha). Habituados a ver televisão a seguir ao jantar, tivemos que dar asas à imaginação, pois estávamos parados no meio do nada e em paz absoluta. Estes dias, permitiram-nos desconectar do "mundo digital" e conectarmo-nos mais como família. Todos adorá-mos e é para repetir DEFINITIVAMENTE! Obrigada a toda a equipa da Campers on way, desde o pick-up até ao drop off, o acompanhamento foi excelente.

Serious company! Ricardo is a super kind guy! We rented the van for 1 week and everything went smoothly (as expected)! He was super available for any kind of question and it never took more then few minutes for him to reply! The van was cleaned and the check in was super meticulous in order to remove any kind of doubt! Really recommended for anyone who wants to live a real adventure in Portugal!

I heard about this new affordable campervan rentals company and decided to give it a try. End up being a HORRIBLE decision. The company charged me fees from my credit card without my consent. I had to cancel my credit card because I was afraid they would do it again since they got my credit card information on the day I checked in. Be careful.

---- WARNING -- -- Renting this camper van end up being a TERRIBLE decision! At first, everything went smooth, the camper van was functional and clean and I have no complains about the communication during my trip with the company. However, one day after handing over the keys and gone through a conducted check by Campersonway, I was notified that the van was delivered with damages, which I proceed by requesting pictures to back up those claims. In the meantime Campersonway charged my credit card WITHOUT my permission to cover up the damages which happened because they took note of my credit card details without my consent. I've try to reach Campersonway to come into an agreement but there was no response whatsoever. I was completely SCAMMED and feeling very disappointed.
