Horrible food and service! I ordered one beef plate with chick peas ! They gave me a hamburger with mayo on the side ! The meat was raw i took chance and ate it only because i was starving and they were kind of busy for few minutes ! Avoid!! There are many other choices in the market!

Get the negro risotto with scallops. Amazing! I also got the Portuguese ceviche, which was equally delicious.

Eu e minha família pedimos o lombo de porco, o risoto negro e bacalhau a lagareiro, todos EXCELENTES. O preço é adequado para a qualidade apresentada. Recomendo!

My favourite place in the Time Out Market.
Had the bacalhau, which was OK.
Had the confit duck with parsnip purée, which was an eye-opener. Delicious duck, and everything on the plate worked together. I don't normally like sweet dishes, and in spite of the honey(?) and orange it didn't overwhelm.
Had the Black Risotto, which was great. I love cheesy risotto, and the creamy black risotto both looked and tasted great. The real star, however, was the scallops -- I can't for my life come up with any way in which they could have been improved. They were beautifully caramelised on top, and perfectly cooked on the inside. I could eat this for a week and not be tired of it.

I ordered a tuna steak with sweet potato and veg soup. That was absolutely amazing. Very fresh, tasty and delicious.

Very rude customer service. We wanted to order food and the guy said do I look like we are open? You don't have to be rude full stop. We are travellers and there is no sign about your opening hours. Don't bother going there even they are opened. So many other choices.

Mid-range price (€15-20) for somewhat fancier fare, tempered by the bustling market setting. Overall it didn't add up to a great experience for me, but the food itself was tasty, well-presented, and satisfying.

Absolute rip off.
Fish here is terrible. We had the Bacalhau which was unedible. Staff wouldn't even discuss it and had the nerve to tell me 'that is what one should expect from portugese fish' - which isn't the case.
The other sides were less than desirable, but edible.

Great food, perfectly cooked. After several mediocre experiences in the food market, we finally struck gold here: sophisticated food, beautifully presented...and delicious!

We needed a snack. Ordered traditional croquettes. Tried three. Cod, chicken and veal. Dry, cold and tasteless. Three for three.

Unfortunately worst food I had in Portugal. Tough cod fish, uncooked and sandy spinach. Even the potatoes were not good :-(. The only good think was the recommended white wine.

Aweful!! These two dishes(risotto and bacalhau) was super salty, the fish had terrible taste.
The most bad thing is the service, we ask to return it and they didn't even want to hear us.

Avoid the warm pork neck sandwich. Poor attempt at a pork confit sandwich with some slaw. Horribly overpriced at €10.50 too.

An over abundant use of soy sauce dominates the sea bream fish of the day. No complexity or interesting features of the underlying vegetables shine through the saltiness.

良いところ
夕食を済ませてお土産を買うためにリベイラ市場を訪れたのですが、あまりにも美味しそうでイカ墨のリゾットをいただきました。
載せられたホタテも相性抜群で、さすがポルトガルのトップシェフのお店だと思いました。
リベイラ市場内の他のお店に比べると注文まで少し並びましたが、10分も掛からなかったですし、注文後も5分ほどですぐに呼び出されました。
残念なところ

I really enjoyed the pork belly and scallop sandwich that I got from here. Reasonably priced and very tasty. The scallops had a great texture too, cooked just right. Place definitely seems to deserve a higher rating than it currently has.

Beim Alexandre Silva gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Die Wartezeit war recht lange, aber es war auch viel los. Der Fisch war gut, allerdings wurde bei der Kartoffelbeilage sehr gegeizt – das hätte gerne etwas mehr sein können.. Freundlicher Service und angemessene Preise.

O Bacalhau que pedi estava delicioso. Tudo bem feito, no ponto certo. O outros pratos também são muito bons. É difícil eu dar 5 estrelas, mas por ser um restaurante fast food dentro do Mercado da Ribeira esse sem dúvida eu recomendo.

The food here is SO good. Don't take the low total rating of this place seriously. It's really tasty and high quality. Had the ceviche a portugese and also tasted the risotto.

Super tasty scallop risotto! I also tasted the ceviche a portuguesa, incredible! The atmosphere of the Time Out market is awesome with lots of chatter and delicious food and drink all around.

Jedzenie dobre i świeże, ale za to drogie, a porcje bardzo małe. Jadłem mątwę wraz zupą, otrzymałem dwa małe kawałki ryby, dosłownie na dwa kęsy każdy i zapłaciłem 14 euro. Za taka cenę najadłem się do syta owocami morza w innych miejscach w Lizbonie. Generalnie to nie polecam.

Pedi a sandes de porco com vieiras... Sem dúvida que era boa, mas era pequena, só vinha acompanhada com meia dúzia de batatas fritas e paguei 15€ pelo menu!!! Repito, 15€ por uma pequena sandes, meia dúzia de batatas e uma cerveja... Um exagero para este tipo de comida e de local onde o conceito é outro!

Had the vegetable soup and seabass on asian stir fries vegetables. Soup was good, no complaints, nothing special. The seabass was fine but the stir fried vegetables were inedible - way too salty and basically stir fried in soy sauce.

Seemed traditional “good” food. The girl at the cash register was unfriendly and the baccalhao was like 3 days or older, untasty, I would not eat it even for free. I was sick afterwards. Highly do NOT recommend it.

I Love the Bacalao with roasted potatoes and sauteed spinach. Fresh. I had it with an Algarve Rose wine and it was a perfect match.

Você pede um vinho branco o mesmo vem quente. Informa que está na temperatura 8C, contudo, não está muito acima disso. Você pode um balde não tem. Uma senhora atende do caixa é uma pessoa com pouca sutileza e pouco educação. A cliente que está pagando sempre tem razão a principio. No caso é uma absurdo o lugar não servir um vinho branco quente e pior não ter um balde para gelar. Olha que a segunda vez que compro no estabelecimento o primeiro dia foi bom apesar da fila. O caixa é enrolado e as atendes também + como é uma viagem para se divertir a gente aguarda. A experto segundo dia me faz não recomendar esse lugar.

Pedi um vinho verde. O pior que já tomei em Lisboa. Pedi também um doce e precisei esperar um tempão. O doce era um bolo úmido que não era úmido com (suposta) geleia de lima. A evitar.

Atendimento gentil e rápido. Experimentei um croquete de barriga de porco que custava EUR 6 por 3 croquetes. Ao pedir o vinho a funcionária ofereceu uma experimentação do vinho Antonio Saramago que acabou sendo minha escolha. Vale experimentar.

Excellent cooking at very fair prices! We visited numerous times during a one month visit to Lisbon and were never disappointed by the food here. Ignore the whiners and sensitive reviewers who didn't get a big smile or a hug or a pass to move to the front of the queue -- they provide no useful guidance unless you're looking for a new friend rather than a place to eat. The wine selection is also terrific and the beer is ice cold. Worth the wait in line. My favorites were the fish of the day with a glass of the Singular vinho verde. Cheers!

Our Bacalhau (salted cod fish) open sandwich was tasty, modern Portuguese flavours. Nothing is cheap in the market yet it's well presented, fresh and worth eating.

The toast was good but pricy for what it was. Also service should consider having a better attitude and put a smile on their face.
The market place is very nice but you’ll have a better value in many other restaurants in Lisbon.

We wanted to order the Pork Belly but it was sold out. Ended up ordering the pork sandwich and negro risotto. It was decent, but not over the top. The line up was pretty long.

Les plats sont recherché, la quantité est un peu juste pour le prix. Après le lieu est un peu trop touristique. Dommage pour ces jeunes chefs qui pourraient proposer une meilleure offre dans un meilleur cadre.

NE SURTOUT PAS Y ALLER !! Les prix sont excessifs, les assiettes ne sont pas bonnes. Le personnel et irrespectueux et voleur. J'ai payé 3 assiettes au lieu de n'en payer que 2. C'est du grand n'importe quoi.
Je ne recommende pas du tout.

Le rapport qualité prix est très mauvais.
Le personnel et désagréable et voleur.

Alexandre Silva cooks nice and fancy. The rice however was overdone and the fish a little bit dry - taste however was OK. But Alexandre is quite crowded and then - the counter flounders and so will you when you're hungry.
