Went here because of the rave local reviews. Did not disappoint. As I've come to realize $$$ in Portugal does not mean the same thing that it does in the STATES. This place is a little off the beaten path. Somewhat down the back slope of the barrio alto, on the 28 tram line. Hard to find, but harder to forget. They are a local joint. But cater to tourists as well. Menu is available in English. German, Dutch as well as Portuguese. We (my wife and I) has two appetizers, a bottle of indigenous wine (vino Verde), she had the rissoto, and I had the fish grilled on the salt. It was all to die for, and yeah, we then had a selection of multiple mouse to enjoy. (Wonder if the plural of mouse works like the north american moose). After all that the bill came to 53euro. A quick taxi ride and we were back in the barrio alto drinking sagres and listening to great local live music until 2:30am. I recommend heading here rather than the more touristy spots near the Baxia. Do it live!
