We spended a great time in Lissabon. The apartement was pretty, comfortable and clean. The bathroom could be improved, because it is very small and smells moldy. But there is one thing I cannot agree with and want to warn other travelers: the day we left, I received an email. There was mentioned that we broke the hinge of a window. There was also an attachement with photos to prove the damage. But the fact is that we hardly used this window and also didn´t hear any loud sound while using it. I also told this in an email. But the administrator just answered they would activate the security deposit of 100€. We did not receive an invoice of the damage or anything else. How can the guests be responsible for any damage which is probably due to wear? This is fradulent business practice. In my opinion they only want to charge some extra fees. I am interested in if anybody made similar experiences?

The owner is a scammer. In 2018, we rented an apartment from Canto Do 28,Typical Apartment in Lisbon, Portugal through TripAdvisor for 21 days during Xmas and New Year. The owner of this property was a scammer. First, they collected 21 days city tax from us instead of 7 days that city only required max 7 days city tax, no matter how long you stayed. Second, with 40 degree winter temperature in Lisbon, the owner only provided a very small electrical heater that could not heat up one small room. Also when the electrical heater was turned on, the circuit breaker off to make the whole apartment without any electricity. The apartment was not habitable in the winter. In the first day, we immediately contacted TripAdvisor customer support about the apartment was not habitable. The owner came to switch portable electrical heater to butane portable heater and told us he didn't know the butane heater was safe to use indoor. He also told us we needed to do our research by internet without model number to see the butane heater was safe to use or not. We did do the research, the manufacturer said some models were not safe to use indoor. Without carbon monoxide alarm, we dared not to use the heater and next day we told TripAdvisor we would move out for our safety and TripAdvisor moved us to another apartment Avocado Apartment for the rest of 19 days that we paid anther rental fee $ 1400 for Avocado apartment. When we asked the refund from TripAdvisor, unfortunately, TripAdvisor already transferred the rent to Rui, the owner. Rui, the owner refused to refund the rent for his uninhabitable apartment. The owner is a scammer and provided awful and irresponsible service. Since I complaint to TripAdvisor about his integrity to overcharge the city tax and his integrity to provide unsafe apartment to the renter, he took down his listing in TripAdvisor and ran away with the rent. Never rent this place. TripAdvisor's protection plan is useless. TripAdvisor also did not help us to get rent refunded back from the owner. TripAdvisor collected two rental fee from us and also refused to take responsibility to refund the uninhabitable apartment rent to us.

Spend the week in this BnB. It's a lovely placa, but mind yourself while exiting. You might get overrun by the historic 28..... The landlord is the most lovely man.

We had such a wonderful time in this cosy and super central little flat. Perfect as the starting and ending point for exploring beautiful Lisbon.

Se encuentra en una zona estupenda. La limpieza, lo cuidado del mobiliario y sobre todo....LA COMODIDAD DE LA CAMA. Fueron muy amables y atentos. MUY RECOMENDABLE!!!

Loved the location: very close to the city centre, close to great restaurants, sightseeing points with great view to the river and the city. The house is beautifull - small and cozy, perfect for a couple. Would return anytime!
