A praia do Guincho é um excelente local para os amadores (e profissionais) dos desportos de beira-mar. Sempre com bastante vento e boas ondas, permite a prática do surf, kite-surf, body board, windsurf e outros que tais. Também tem excelentes condições para quem só pretende fazer praia e apanhar sol.

Ventosa de inverno, mas aconselho para passeio.

A big favourite of ours. Most people are near the shore line and there is a nice friendly atmosphere. Great for surfers, kite surfers and body boarders. Move further back away from the people and it is very quiet and peaceful. Scenery is spectacular. PARKING - On the southside you have 2 Euro a day car parks. Northside has an excellent car park which costs 6 euros a day. We usually use the northside carpark at weekends as it gets packed out in the whole area. During the week if we cannot find a free parking spot we use the 2 euros car park on the southside. You can find free parking at weekends if you arrive by 10.30 am (in summer obviously), but you may have to walk up to 1 km depending on where you finally park. Pay the carpark, it's much less hassle and no stress. Food and drink - Northside has a couple of really cool bars with food. Weather - Great in Summer. Can get very windy so check online before setting off. We take a windbreaker, and it makes a big difference. SWIMMING - There are rip tides. Be very careful. Kids need to be closely watched by parents. Know the tides as the outgoing tide can be especially dangerous to inexperienced people. The lifeguards will quickly let you know if your behaviour is appropriate for the conditions.

La playa es preciosa, casi salvaje. Hay poca gente. Lo malo es que el viento no suele permitir el baño.

Der Strand gilt als einer schönsten im Raum Lissabon - und das zu Recht. Egal ob Sonne, Wind oder Sturm - immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Zum Baden nur bei Windstille geeignet, aber auch das beobachten der zahlreichen Surfer macht Spaß.

The place that you can't take your car ... there is not enough parking In the sand there is not a boardwalk on the top part that leads you to the Lifeguards There is no access to wheelchairs too They need to do much more in Guincho Beach Muchaxo ....

Pedazo playa. Unas olas de infarto. Ver a los surfer es una pasada. Con niños tiene muchos recovecos para investigar con marea baja. Recomendable

Wonderful experience of watching the high tides from the long sandy beach. Would recommend the holiday makers to visit. Even though the high tides causes the water to come very close to us,it’s still very fun running away from it. DO NOT try swimming as the waves could wash you away.
