An absolute gem that I feel lucky to have stumbled upon in my brief time within Lisbon with perhaps the most delicious and aesthetically beautiful dishes I've had in recent memory (so much so that my friends and I dined here twice within our 3 day stay in Lisbon). The service was extremely welcoming and friendly with Phillippe graciously explaining the full menu and thought process behind the dishes. There is no doubt in my mind that I would return on my next visit to Lisbon. Thank you to the entire team at Grenache for a wonderful experience.

Excellent food in a lovely atmosphere! The restaurant Grenache is definitely worth a visit - we had the six course tasting menu with wine accompaniment and were more than happy with hit.

Accueil irréprochable, le serveur prend son temps et est à nos petits soins. Produits de qualité, cuisine délicieuse et innovante, belle présentation. Lieu chalereux et jolie terrasse. Ça vaut la peine de mettre le prix. A conseiller fortement.

Très très beau restaurant, avec une carte exceptionnel, des vins d'exception. Un maître d'hôtel très très représentatif de la maison avec de superbes explications. Un très bon rapport qualité prix . Les goûts sont au rendez-vous, je recommande vivement.

Très belle découverte. Menu très correct et varié avec ma préférence pour leur menu 6 ou 8 services. Laissez-vous tenter et découvrez des saveurs bien maîtrisées. Personnnel très sympathique. A essayer à tout prix si vous aimer la cuisine plutôt gastronomique.

No Grenache, o restaurante do Palácio Belmonte, pratica-se uma cozinha francesa feita, essencialmente, com produtos portugueses, protagonistas de harmonizações de sabores que acicatam o palato.

Je recommande ce restaurant les yeux fermés ! Très bien situé, dans une petite cour tout près du Château São Jorge. On y mange des plats raffinés cuisinés avec de très bons produits. Nous avons été très bien conseillés sur le choix des plats et des vins. Le gérant nous a tout expliqué en français, avec beaucoup de passion pour son métier. Nous nous sommes régalés, foncez !

Hands down one of the best meals you can have in Lisbon. Philippe and his team are superb, and the cuisine leaves little to be desired. A+

Un accueil irréprochable accompagnée d'une cuisine moderne et recherché. C'est un restaurant qui pourrait mériter une étoile au guide Michelin. Si vous en avez l'occasion n'hésitez surtout pas, cependant le menu dégustation en 8 plats est bien garnie donc allez y le ventre vide :)

My husband and I decided to try the 8 course tasting menu. We asked the waiter to suggest wine pairings for the dishes. He was phenomenal in his choices. Each meal was phenomenal, perfectly cooked and well seasoned....each wine pairing added to the flavor of the meal. The waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. This was my favorite restaurant in Lisbon. I highly recommend you will not be disappointed!!! Accolades to the Chef!!!

Une expérience unique dans un endroit typique. Une soirée très très sympa pour ce nouvel an avec un menu vraiment excellent. Un mélange astucieux des saveurs autour de 10 plats avec l'accompagnement des vins appropriés. Une vraie découverte aussi des vins du Portugal avec grand plaisir. Incredibly inventive cooking and the most thorough explanation of an entire menu I've ever experienced, and only six months old. Most restaurants take years to achieve where you are already.

By far our best dinner in Lisbon. The service is amazing, the waiter explained every single dish on the menu with care and recommended great wine. We were reluctant of what to order but when we tried the complementary starter, we knew that everything here would probably taste great. We ended up choosing the 6 courses tasting menu and everything tasted AMAZING! Would come back again if I ever visit Lisbon in the future.

We had a great evening with excellent food, wine and laughs. The service is brilliant, like the food. They are super flexible and easy going and explain everything you need to know about the dishes on the menu. You should go there when in Lissabon!

Merveilleux endroit caché dans une belle cour au détour d’une rue. Mais nous ne venions pas par hasard. Bel accueil ! On arrive comme à la campagne , on est reçu comme le fils de la famille, le sourire est sur les faces de toute l’équipe. Quel accueil, quel site ! Simple, beau, vrai. Et quelle table ! Des les amuse bouches on est comblés, on termine très (trop) tard. Jamais aucun agacement aucune fatigue n’apparaît chez nos hôtes. Noter 5 c’est trop bas. Et nous reviendrons , merci beaucoup.

Detta är en fransk gourmet restaurang. Vi blev väl mottagna. Vi valde provsmaknings menyn, det kom in väldigt stora portioner så vi lämnade väldigt mycket kvar på tallrikarna. Några rätter var riktigt goda andra helt smaklösa. Kan säga att dessa smaker passade inte mig. När jag frågade om de hade Icewine som dessertvin kom servitören in med någon som smakade portvin och tog riktigt illa upp när jag började förklara hur druvorna skördas för att få kallas Icewine och gjorde en sur ”Fransk” vändning dvs vände på klacken och gick utan ett ord. Så ingen dricks från oss.

Très bon accueil, explication des plats au top, très bon conseil pour le choix du vin, nous recommandons vivement cette adresse, nous nous sommes régalés du début à la fin. Quelle qualité dans les plats proposés, nous avons été ravis de notre soirée, nous fêtions nos 20 ans de rencontre à Lisbonne.... Restaurant à recommander, digne de restaurant étoilé sur le sol français.... Encore merci à toute l équipe pour ce moment inoubliable.

Nous avions pris le menu à 22eur plat (une volaille d'une douceur exquise) et dessert (chocolat..pointe de piment... Pop corn : un grand Waouh) Merci pour votre gentillesse et pour cette explosion de saveurs.

Superb experience as we watched the tourists parade past. With a reasonably priced bottle of wine, we split the lunch special between the two of us. Excellent presentation and taste. The waiter/owner was very attentive. Well worth it!

DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want a trip to the hospital. What we witnessed today was an absolute disgrace. We were looking for a place to eat after visiting the Castle Sao Jorge and came across this quiet courtyard with outside seating. As we were deciding between these 2 spots we noticed a tourist go inside with a map to ask for directions. As she walked in to the restaurant to approach the one waiter with her map, other waiter proceeded to lock the door behind her. We thought this was odd since there was a couple having drinks on their patio. Then it happened! The poor girl walked back out and straight into the locked glass door. The same door that was wide open 1 minute prior. Zero signage on the door and no way to tell if it was open or closed. The waiter proceeded to get the window cleaner to clean the window as she cried in serious pain. He finally unlocked the door and let her leave. The door stayed open and it was clear he only did this to be cruel to the tourist. He was smiling the whole time. The girl came out holding her wrist and also had a massive bump on her forehead. She most likely had a concussion and broken wrist, which is completely possible considering how hard she walked into the door. If an employee of a restaurant is capable of this, what do you think he does to the food before serving tourists?

Excellent restaurant. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Plat maison, produits frais et de très bonne qualité. Service sensas avec un personnel jeune, dynamique et très professionnel. On reviendra dès un prochain séjour à Lisbonne et on vous le conseille sans aucune hésitation !
